One of the most common tropes has to be the talentless and weak protagonist being extremely hard working and motivated. Are there any cases of the opposite? I can only think of OPM and mob psycho.
Seriously I cannot get enough of this series as I am hooked on it, but what worries me is that at the speed I am going with the series, I will soon run of of stuff to read, and basically I hunger for more light novel series like it that use the concept of urban fantasy.
Looking to binge something that has the art style like the older Hellsing or vampire hunter D (2000)
If you have seen these 3 then you know that they all give off this similar vibe, looking for other animes with this dark and always serious atmosphere. Can be genres other than Psychological aswell
I think I found it in muse Asia but I can't find it But the anime goes like this
*At the first episode there's a fight between the boys and a girl beats them up
*One of them (a girl) has a mysterious cube *One of the episode he found a white haired girl without clothes and took his uniform to cover her, his female friend thought his a freak they ask who she is but she don't know either. So they took care of her *One of the episode is where they went on a trip(I think)
I forgot the rest, please help me find this anime
i have a lot of 2000s and 2010s anime i seen but not a lot of 90s ones, at least not very much of the non mainstream category. i want to get into that era any recommendations?
For me, it's School Days, I don't care what anyone says that story was actually well rounded and had a conclusion that made sense within a reasonable episode count.
I'm looking for anime like Mysterious Girlfriend X, but only in the fact that I want more weird female love interests or main characters.
Whats a good one that you can suggest? hatred to love type of anime
I love when they confess/say they belong to the mc in front of his class I want ones like campione, to love ru, or girls bravo Those types of "confessions"
Anything good plz like idc anything better than staring at the ceiling
Hello, just looking for a a new show. I just took the best parts of what I liked and put them below, as well as a ranking for extra help. Thank you.
-Coming Of Age Narrative. My favorite part of Fullmetal was seeing the characters actually grow up and learn things as they did.
-Outsider Protagonist. Can be either like Rock (literal outsider) from Black Lagoon or Hachiman (treated as an outsider) from Oreagiru, but either way, having someone uncomfortable and a little introverted is something I like.
-Mystery. My favorite part of Attack On Titan.
-High Concept. Honestly most things I've watched, but I prefer it to be a whole new world as opposed to the real world with some weird elements.
-Ensemble Cast. Attack On Titan, FMA, Durarara, Baccanno, MHA, list goes on.
-Light Romance. Bunny Girl Senpai, Steins Gate, and Black Lagoon all did this great to different extents.
-Dark Comedy.
-Mature. I know that's a bit vague, but I've had shows I was liking such as Gurren Laggan just do some juvenile stuff half way through and it took me out of it, so as little of that is appreciated.
S: Attack On Titan, Chainsaw Man, and Steins Gate.
A: Baccanno, Black Lagoon, Durarara, Erased, Hell's Paradise, Kokoro Connect, Oregairu, MHA, Bunny Girl Senpai, and FMA.
B: JJK, Link Click, Dandadan, Evangelion, Solo Levelling, Promised Neverland, Tatami Time Machine, Demon Slayer, and Your Lie In April.
C: Mob Psycho, Cowboy Bebop, Gurren Laggan, and Frieren.
D: Kaguya Sama.
F: Hyouka
Thank you for any suggestions.
Im looking for a really bad anime that a coworker suggested to me years ago (around 2017). In it the main character gets attacked by a bunch of characters that have superpowers but it never gets explained why. At times they talk about them being Nazi scientists and later they try to throw in some lore about nordic gods and that they are the reason for their superpowers. I also remember it had 2 seasons.
In the first fight the MC fights a guy named Spinne which has the powers of a spider. He gets tangled in his web and after getting angry he pulls so much that he rips of his own arms and legs. After activating his own superpowers he gets them back.
Please reddit help me you are my only hope🙏
Alternatively Im also happy if you suggest me the worst anime you have ever seen😎
Edit: Thank you so much guys it really is Dies Irae😄😄😄🙏
My memories about it are very vague, and you can take EVERY sentence with a grain of salt.
I watched some anime in early 2000s on a VHS tape. So it was released somewhere around 2000 or earlier, but depending on the imagery I have in my head, it was most likely 80s or 90s.
The only scene I remember from it, there was a rocky desert, and some sort of big spaceship was floating above it, moving (not so high above the ground). A woman was inside the spaceship, and she was laying on a wool carpet (maybe it was white?), and the wool was like really long and thick (for a carpet), and it was maybe all moving around the woman (?). And also she was talking to someone.
Woman on a wool carpet may be from a different scene than the floating spaceship, but that's just how I remember it.
I remember liking it. Also, it had a serious tone and wasn't a hentai or something like that.
Edit: the scene with floating spaceship and the woman took place during daytime.
Edit 2: thank you for suggestions, but in your reply could you please specify why you think your guess may be correct? I'm not an avid anime watcher, and all I remember from this movie/show is this scene. If there's nothing resembling this scene, then I will not be able to identify the anime.
Edit 3: the woman was like standard anime woman, pretty and proportionate. I think she was talking to a guy, who maybe was in the room with her, or just on the comms.
I remember it being serious, almost bleak and hopeless, or melancholic.
For those who need a refresh on what isekai is and some inspiration: here
Isekai is probably one of the most popular genre of anime out there, has anyone actually used inspiration from that to run an isekai style TTRPG? What shows would you reccomend? Some that I talked about were limited to being released or having another season launch in 2024.
Did the players feel like they were transported to another world and how did they get there?
In most Isekai anime, the heroes are summoned to save the alternate world. But are there also series where the MC (optionally plus the members) want or need to destroy the alternate world?
I’ve been watching some Fantasy anime recently and I love it when there is much world building and there are all the different kinds of fantasy races and people, or the classic Lord of the rings like adventure going on. Also would be better if it was a pure fantasy and not Isekai
Two fantasy anime that I really enjoyed are Record of Lodoss war and Frieren if that helps.
suggest me erotic manga with wolf girls
i want these girls to howl like there is no tomorrow while being pleasured. AND NO İ AM NOTNJOKİNG
I rly love assassination classroom and I got super attached to characters in it so now that I'm done watching it feels lonely😭. I wanna watch an anime with a bond between a grp and where I'll also feel like a part of their life.
I mean anything with the supernatural in it, no cringey fanservice, no weird ahh MC, and NO Harems. I have have a stupidly high love for the supernatural, and watching Highschool DXD barely scrape the surface of that (Demons, Angels, Trademark Fantasy Cat-girls) just annoyed me.
I saw a clip on IG a long time ago and I can't seem to find it, probably deleted, but here goes:
There was a girl, she was crying and screaming, on the floor, while she was surrounded by men, probably soldiers or police (they were in some uniform)? As she's screaming, she sends everything around her flying. The scene is very bright, like an atomic bomb went off. It's almost like her crying or grieving is supernatural and destroys everything in its radius.
Thanks in advance.
I have been on horror watch but now i need something different. I recently finished
1.shiki 2.puella magi madoka magica (with movie) 3.higurashi 1st season
Suggest something which is polar opposite to what i have mentioned , school/comedy. no isekai.
I used to like big three but not even though they were routine
But i hate them now especially the current one piece manga arc it's going nowhere as if magaka is purposely doing it for money (that vegapunk trying to say something for atleast 4 chapter and didn't said anything) May be i hate it because I thought it was peak
I haven't watched bdz but my friend said it's a waste of time( I trust in him) (you know the reason why someone hates bdz it's obvious)
Hxh is my fav , dark continent arc is my favorite even if it's unfinished .if you are following it you may very well know my taste. If there aren't any anime or manga or webnovels of this caliber say bluntly that you can just simply say that there isn't any thing. I will stop searching for it and reread the arc for 3rd time💀
Well I also prefer psychological anime (even if someone thinks it's cringe) I can only captivated by those shows now recently I watched serial experiments lain, it surpassed neon Genesis Evangelion in extententialism part
I do enjoy mindless action shows but dont recommend them like demon slayer, solo leveling,
Here are some I hate that they areppopular but they may be okay or average( if they aren't popular I don't care)
Demon slayer Solo leveling Kaiju no9 Or something Assassination Classroom One piece (especially action part, but i love few emotional parts that hooked me but other than that over dramatic) (I don't hate naruto and bleach cuz I don't care) Spyxfamily Tokyo revengers(cringe) Class room of eliet(pls don't recommend this type shit Raising shield hero Erased (isn't even that good) My hero academia Fairy tail Mushoku tensei well I loved season 1 but what the hell is season 2 it's just nonsense I droped it half way
Recommendation that i thought okay don't (RrecommendMet this type) Made in abyss
Well what I love are
Top tier (recommend me similar to them) Hunter x hunter Omniscient reader view point Mono gatari Serial experiments lien NGE Usogui Vagabond Berserk
Good shows Aot Jjk(except the way it's concluded) Tokyo Ghoul Rezero Haikyuu Jojo Vinland saga (only anime and the second season ending is a question mark for me, would thorfin just say I would runaway if the canute said that he r4pe Or murder his family) Oragairu
I watched pluto previously the anime and it's overrated and is preventing me from watching monster Only thing good about pluto isfirst episode which repeated every episode
I don't like those shit liike cute girl crying and saying it's not your fault in slice of life and becoming shy
Pls could anyone suggest me the anime or manga to my taste
Im looking for a new anime to watch (i am very new to anime and only watched a few and it is my fave so far)
I’ve watched it on Netflix Canada and I don’t remember the name. I just remember the main character was a guy with pink hair that always dressed elegant. Mostly wears a suit with a jacket. Much of the anime was about wealth and fashion, for example he would go to Gucci’s boutique ecc.. he also had some kind of gift where he could speak to demons or to the dead (i don’t remember well) Also I kind of remember he lived with his grandma, or she was shown in the anime. I know it’s really vague, but do you know how it’s called?
As the title says, I an looking for an anime similar to a movie I watched recently. Guess who's back, the movie where Hitler comes back to life in "modern" day. I was wondering if there were any anime series like that.
Basically a girl getting teased hard by a boy but after some time they finally get in love with each other
My best friend who was like my whole world abandoned me because of a small mistake I made, I made that mistake because I lost my sanity cause my dad's dying and I need some anime which depressing yet good to enjoy this season
I remember reading a manga about a guy with a very detailed birthmark on his buttcheek. it looked kind of like a brand of a dragon or a round pictograph type pattern. If a people see's this birthmark they immediately lust after him, becomes insatiable for his affections but after the deed is done or maybe a time limit, they will completely stop caring about him as a person even if they were friends or lovers before. A lot of random shinannigans happen where he is trying to keep a certain woman he is in love with from seeing his birthmark. I also remember the art being pretty good.
Like from within the last 5 years, suspenseful not too cheesy.
