I don’t think this looks bad per se, but should I airbrush over this for a better zenithal? Will paint cover up the splotches?
Hi, where can i learn more about the different shoulder pads and helmet trinkets? Is there a website or yt page that explains all the differences.
Maybe some more info about types of helmets and colors?
Cheers
I haven't played since 4th edition. Keep thinking of jumping back in.
Would two different Marine Combat Patrol boxes make for a good army?
If so which ones?
This guy is the chapter master for my home brew chapter the Bleeding Chameleons, he's a work in progress so i'd figured i should ask if he looks chapter master-y enough before i call it done. I apologize for the slightly blurry image
So the new KT starter set has AoD and Plague Marines. You've basically got a full team and two leaders with the plague marines and the leaders could be used for DG or as reasonable CSM proxies.
But AoD? Like, there's a captain that's nice for SM but everything else can't really go into a unit together. What are they, spare parts?
I’m just getting into 40K. I cannot find the hard copies of the data cards. Do they make these or they only available in tbe codex?
So y'all have all probably been in this situation where, someone you know asks you what warhammer is. They have no basis of it, so how do I start explaining it? What is your go-to basic explnation that doesn't take several hours. A way to simply sum it up without belong them?
I want to add the salamander upgrade shoulder pads.
What do you use to remove primer from plastic figures? I used the wraith bone from citadel. I have also read that it makes a difference whether I want to remove a primer or just paint. Is the primer more difficult to remove?
Doing a spur of the moment project on recreating a copy of the 3rd ed starter using old models, but modern paints and a couple of decades more experience.
The much maligned Dark Eldar plastic Warriors, while still a bit of a pain to put together, actually look pretty nice when all built up. Putting the shoulder spikes on puts the entire thing well. Proportions are good, the details are excellent for the time, scale fits in with modern Aeldari and Primaris lines!
