Buddy thinks hes unstoppable with it. He attaches Apothecaries to his 10man hellblasters and usually runs 3x10 and slow marches up the board decimating anything within 24". How do I deal with this as a space marine army myself?
I was playing a game today, and noticed that people were rolling all of the feel no pains at once, but doing that makes it a lot easier to pick out successful attacks. Is that the way feel no pains are intended to be rolled? or should they be rolled individually per model?
This mostly applies when using high damage attacks against low health targets, like blade guard, or a brutalis dread into something like pox walkers.
Was using this paint but my miniatures look grainy, this is what I see in the pot, is there anything wrong with it?
So i recently been into Warhammer and im planning on buying 3 books
2.? 3.?
what other books should i buy? i know some lore and facts from tiktok, youtube, games, movies.

If it consumes yer greatest fear (if I understood it right), what would it do against a group of Krieger’s? They do feel fear but they don’t truly understand it as they were never taught it. So what would their greatest dread be, seeing as they are only human they must have something they dread
I’ve got multiple armies in preparation, one of them is going to be Star Phantoms, what should I run them as?
So, spoilers for the Eldar Codex, you've been warned:
!Apparently, Yvraine has gone insane sacrificing Eldar souls to Ynnead, the Eldar god of death, and now her own followers have abandoned her. What the hell is Games Workshop doing to them, butchering the Slaanesh hunt storyline like this? Is there fixing this or is it just a fumble in an attempt to return to the Status Quo? Either way, it seems lazy and rushed to introduce a plot point this big in a codex of all things, even more so for a character that was integral for the revival of a Primarch.!<
Hey guys I was painting my current WIP after finishing the Dark Imperium trilogy.
And it occured to me that I haven’t heard of any death guard (or the other chaos factions) having marines from the specialist ranks aka apothecary’s, librarians, chaplains and techmarines. Surely they are just as susceptible to chaos as a standard marine and their roles equally important to keeping the chapter alive?
The thought just randomly came to me, but I think having chaos models of these would be awesome and lore wise very interesting.
(EDIT: my knowledge of the EC isn’t great but was Fabius an apothecary?? His model gives off that vibe)
So.... I'm actually not here to ask about warhamer! I'm here to ask about Starwars legion. I just got the core set for My birthday, I've painted a few warhammer underworlds stuff with humbrol enamel- they look good, but were not fun to do. I was wondering what I should buy for painting these guys properly? Do I guy gw branded paint? A different acrylic brand? Idk what paints I need, or washes, etc.... what would you guys recommend?
I've been kinda eyeing 40K for basically my entire life, discovered it when i saw a VERY cool space marine cosplay at the stockholm sci-fi fair in like 2009-10?
My uncle is really into 40K too, paints his minis, builds his sets, allegedly plays as well, reads his lore. And i always found the lore and designs very very cool but never got into it as im not a tabletop game type of guy. But these recent FPS games seem to be getting very good response, so hence my question. Would they be a suitable way to get into 40K and kinda staying there? Just chilling, playing the games and watching the show thats apparently coming out?
I hear the lore for 40K and warhammer as a whole is insanely deep so maybe just FPS games and cinematic media isn't "enough" to get the lore? IDK! I come from stuff like Star Wars and very recently Gunpla (which i have not even gotten into ANY lore yet lol i just think robot cool)
Any response to this is very appreciated, please drop tips and stuff on what else there may be for me, i don't want to miss out on the cool stuff! :D
Thanks in advance kind folk!
Hi, I was just gifted a magnetic case to transport my models in, so I need to get some magnets to put on the bottom of my bases. What size is recommended?
