Does anyone need a bassinet for their baby? Our daughter hasn’t even used it 10 times so we figured we would give it away. I can wash the sheet, disassemble it and meet you in Worcester to do the exchange. I would hate to just throw it away.

I have a two year old corgi and will be getting another in about a week. I am looking for any good veterinary clinics in/ around Worcester. I have been taking my two year old corgi to Petco and am not pleased with how little effort they put into making my already anxious dog comfortable before examining him then deeming him aggressive. (Absolutely loves on any stranger he lays eyes on naturally.) Then again…it’s Petco not sure what I really expected. Any recommendations?

This is a 2 for 1 and maybe the mods will delete this, but I just returned from the Melody Maker in Clinton and felt like making a post about it as a recommendation. Bit of a drive to Clinton, but worth a shot.

For the guitarists of Worcester, this place has a selection you won’t find at E&L or Union Music in Worcester proper; a good mix of vintage gear, refurbished guitars, second hand, and boutique (and battle tested Vox/Boss) pedals and amps. Tune ups, light repair and some other work is offered. It’s worth checking out.

For the coffee and bagel crowd, this place is worth a trip to go beyond the old stand bys you have. Decent coffee and the bagels are pretty good. The place is dog friendly, too! If you like the vibes of New Tradition, give this place a look. Staff is great and the owner, Zach, is a cool dude.

i work at moes and i left my bike in the back cuz the back door was locked so i went through the building to go to the back and get my bike to bring inside and it was gone the camera footage showed someone followed me hopped out a car and took it this was last weekend and im sure its been sold for parts but you never know, if you happen to see the bike comment on this post

I am not from the area but I will be heading there next month for a show. I scanned around on good a bit and found plenty of parking lots/garages that seem fine. I am wondering which are best value as well as which street parking locations are best. I scouted Eden St. and that appears to be free. No signage but I wanted to confirm with locals. That would be my preference however I would jump to a lot if it isn’t that much.

I’m looking to get into martial arts for fitness/self defense/social reasons. However I know that there is a huge stigma around trans women in sports, especially contact sports. And I’ve also heard from people in the martial arts scene that there are a lot of problems with hostility toward LGBT folk. Does anyone know of any dojos or classes that have been accepting and safe for trans people to be in?

And just to clarify, trans people in sports is a complicated topic that I don’t really have a solid opinion on. That being said, I’m not looking to really compete or anything. Even if there are problems with trans people being in competitions, that doesn’t mean I should be barred from the sport entirely.

I have 2 tickets to the Breakaway festival in Worcester for both tonight and tomorrow, Sep 6th and 7th. I won’t be able to attend and I’m trying to get rid of the tickets.
