Western Massachusetts is an area located within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, which is part of the United States region of New England.
If Western Massachusetts were a person, she’d be that natural beauty that doesn’t need any make up that you really want to hate, but can’t, because she’s so darn nice. Yep, Western Mass is plain gorgeous, from the green hills of the Berkshires to the stunning foliage along the Mohawk Trail, America’s first (and best!) scenic automobile route. And it sure is nice, too, with the amazing collection of unique museums; the iconic Tanglewood music venue; epic music and hoops at Springfield’s Symphony Hall and the Basketball Hall of Fame, respectively; and some of the world’s most picturesque college towns in Northampton and Amherst. There’s even a hardcore music scene here. Aw, we could never hate you, Western Mass.

Does anyone have any experience with mint mobile coverage around Otis? I’m looking to switch my mom to save her money but I’d like to know if anyone has any issues. They use the T-Mobile network so I guess if anyone uses T-Mobile as well they could answer too. Thanks in advance.

New Yorker here who came across some condo listings in Jiminy Peak's "Country Inn" resort. The prices seem very attractive for what you get, but when looking at the sales history I see that they are generally selling for about 20-30% lower than what they were selling for 5-10 years ago. Surprising, since I would think the combination of the pandemic and the Berkshires becoming more of a popular travel destination would have caused these properties to spike in value. Does anyone know why the market for these properties (and Hancock in general) is so weak?
My family needs to travel to Mexico on Friday. Does anyone know where I could take them to get tested for Covid, they also don't have insurance so the cheapest way would be best. Thank you in advance!
Looking for an apartment for a married couple with cats. Looking to be about at most a 45 min drive to Springfield high school area. In NY now so don’t know the area. Looking for something quiet, house or duplex.
Hello!
This is such a long shot but I’m not sure what else to do to try and find this!
On 14th May (during the pandemic) my fiancé and I visited Lake Mansfield for what I thought was just a picnic to escape our apartment but actually turned out to be where my partner proposed! It was a magical moment in the midst of a horrendous pandemic. We must have looked particularly joyous and loved up as a few minutes later a young girl (about 21 years old) came over and asked to take a picture of us on her camera with the lake in the background. She said we looked so happy (that’s why she wanted to take a photo, she didn’t realise what had just happened) We explained we had just got engaged and she was really sweet congratulating us. In the madness of the excitement we forgot to ask for her to send the picture of us to us! I am now desperate to get hold of this if we can and surprise my fiancé with the picture. We are back in the UK now due to Covid so this would be the perfect keepsake from the best end to a year in Massachusetts.
Does anyone have any ideas of where to start with this?!
Thank you so much!
Hi there, I just moved to Western Mass and want to discover cool hiking trails and scenic landscapes that are close to brilliant coffee houses and great cafes. I’ve tried to research a little, but would appreciate any tips or direction on where to go.
Thank you!
Just moved to East Longmeadow and my guitar and bass need set ups. Where’s a place that does a decent job for a reasonable price? I’ve only been to the guitar shops in Northampton. Anywhere else I should try?
Looking for a group to join. Going to check out Bob's Hobbies on Dickinson on Wednesday.
I just accepted a job out there and I am looking to move into an inexpensive place with my medium sized non-aggressive dog and 1 cat. I have been advised to use a realtor. Where i am from it is mostly online (Craigslist and Zillow) resources.
Any advice would be helpful. Right now I am looking at a place called SilverBrick Loft in Springfield.
Does anyone know how East Longmeadow handles disposal of Christmas Trees?
I'm looking to get some quotes on adding solar electric to my home, does anyone have recommendations of a good company? The only one I've heard of is Solar City and have heard mixed reviews on them so seeking alternatives (u less you have a ringing endorsement for solar city). Looking to buy the panels rather than just pay for usage.
Thanks!
