The Big E, also known as The Eastern States Exposition, is billed as "New England's Great State fair". It is the largest on the east coast, and the 6th largest fair in the US. The Big E is inclusive of all 6 of the New England states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Each of the New England states is prominently represented at the fair. Located in West Springfield. The Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts, since 1917
Please no rude, or racist remarks. This is for info, and for finding fun stuff, and fun food to eat @ the Big E.. Emphasis on FUN

I was planning on going, but the people I was going with cancelled and just told me. I'd prefer to sell them at the price I got ($43.00) but I'm willing to negotiate. Today is the last day.
Dm or comment if interested
If anyone has an extra ticket or is looking to sell one for the Big Time Rush concert 9/29 please DM me!! thanks :)
Selling 1 prepaid ticket for entry $10. Won’t be able to go this year everyone cancelled🥺
I created this sub and would love to post more. Reddit kicked me out with no reason. And I lost mod
Hi all - first timer for anything Big E related, so looking to all you regulars for some help. I'm looking to drive out from Boston on Saturday just to see Public Enemy in the arena. I've seen some traffic horrorshow videos, which I would like to avoid, so the plan is to get there right around showtime and to avoid the fair and crowds completely if possible. Will the traffic still be insane at 7:00 at night? What is getting out of there like after the show? And lastly, the tickets say 7:30, but what time do the bands usually go on and finish up by?
Trying to find out the bag policy for big E and big E arena. I assume backpacks are allowed in from reading other posts on here but is the bag policy different in order to enter the arena for the concert? Searched the entire website. Any help would be appreciated!
Don’t think we’re going to make it this year. If any one wants to buy my tickets DM me.
Hi! I'm hoping to bike my way to the Big E early on Saturday and I'm wondering if anyone can share their experience parking their bikes at 915 Memorial Ave as suggested on the Big E website.
Thanks in advance for any info!
This is funny but I went to the Big E 2 weekends ago and bought some donuts from green mountain concessions (absolutely amazing!) , by the time I went back to buy more, they were closed and I have all the regret of not buying more.
I’m in Cambridge so wondering if anyone would be able to buy me some if y’all are going anyway , happy to pay extra!

Looking to meet and possibly further connect with the person who interacted so lovely with my daughter at the Saturday September 21, 2024 Big E Fair! My daughter and I ran into this woman twice, and my daughter accidentally stuck her hand in her beer thinking it was goat feed. My daughter has a hard time interacting with strangers and that encounter was unusual for a lot of good reasons. Needless to say I should have gotten her number or at least her name. Not sure what this post can do but this is the only pic I have of her… #bigE
Hi everyone!
Going to the BTR show on closing night. I’ve seen tons of videos lately of all the traffic and people packed like sardines actually at the fair. Anyone have any experience going closing day? Is it as crazy as this past weekend?
Thank you!
It's been years since I've gotten over to the Big E and having lived in the South, I love serious bbq. I'd love to get something good while at the fair tomorrow. The Porky's bbq sundae always gets a lot of attention but is it actually worth it if you love southern bbq done right or more just fun for the gimmick of it? How does it compare to Bear's Smokehouse by the CT House?
Hi all! I hope this type of post is allowed. I'm a big Sonic fan and tried to win one of the giant Sonic the Hedgehog plushies at the carnival games here, but I failed to win (unsurprisingly.) I figured "I'll just order one online when I get home," but I found out the manufacturer only sells them in bulk to registered fairs and carnivals. Is there anyone out there who won one and would be willing to part with it? I'd be happy to pay the cost of the game you played + shipping and a tip!
Im planning on going to the Big E on 9/29, which is the same day Big Time Rush is headlining and Id really like to see them. The times ive gone before ive noticed smaller bands playing on an outdoor stage, but im not sure if that’s the arena btr will be playing at. Just wondering cause if I could see them from outside that stage for a couple songs, i dont see the point in buying tickets. If it’s a completely separate arena, then I would buy tickets to that.
Hi does anyone know if there are peanut free vendors? I am pretty allergic to peanuts and have an epipen.
Thank you
Selling two GA tickets for Diplo this Saturday. Originally paid $69 each will sell for $50 each!!
On 9/15 this year, I believe in the CT building, I got what was advertised as being “the best lava cake.” It didn’t disappoint. I want to recommend the business or go there in the future, but in the bustle of the big e, I forgot their name. I looked through the list of vendors at the CT building on the big e website, but I don’t see it. They were also selling stroopwafels.
I’m going to the Big E for the first time. I love a fair, but I hear this thing is pretty big. Any recs for parking?
Also, any must try food/drink stops? Do they let you walk around with your drink?
Anybody know what the color for midway is today?
Does anyone know a vendor selling espresso drinks at the Big E this year?
My friend and I are going to see Diplo next Saturday and we noticed that the tickets are the same price regardless of seating. Are the seatings the same level or are there bleachers where we can see the artists at an elevated level? I looked up on Google and there seems to be chairs instead of bleachers? I wasn’t too sure if that was true. We usually don’t like floor seatings since it gets too crowded so we were looking at the bleachers seatings but are they elevated enough that we can still see the artist? Or are they really just chairs?
I was at the Big E last night and I got a bucket of the best cookies I’ve had in my entire life. I forgot to ask for a business card and I can’t find them anywhere online. Does anyone know how I can contact Stella’s Cookies or if they have a store I can purchase from after the fair is over?
I know it's last minute but if anyone has 1 GA Ludacris ticket they're selling i would love to take it off of you!
I'm looking for 2 tickets to see Ludacris at the Big E tomorrow! I want to surprise my boyfriend
Hey everybody, as the title suggests, i am looking for a single General Admission Ludacris ticket for this Saturday. If anybody has an extra to sell i would be eternally grateful
Where is the best place to park for the Big E? Last year I went (coming from Rhode Island), and the traffic was completely atrocious when approaching the festival. I was planning to park near the fair but swerved off to park at a lot near the train tracks and a lake. It set me back like 1.5 hours.
What is the best game plan for parking for the fair? I plan on going on Sep 21 and want to leave early in the morning to avoid all the chaos.
Thanks!!
Hi! Looking for opinions on the bleachers at the Big E arena! I’m planning on seeing big time rush and definitely want bleachers because I’m sure my feet will hurt after a long day:) would the corner bleachers still be able to see the stage? Or am I better off getting more center? Thanks!!
Title says it all since this sub requires a 30 character MINIMUM in the title for some reason.
Does anyone know the name of that company that has the stand with the dip samplers? I can’t remember what state their booth is always set up in but they’ve got the pretzel sticks and a bunch of dip mixes that you can sample and buy. Some of them being dessert dips like pumpkin cheesecake and whatnot. They’re in powder form when you buy them… I moved away and can’t go to the big e so I’m looking to order them online if I can!
