Hi all, my family visits the Keystone/Dillon area often but we always are heavily ski focused. Keystone, Breck, Vail, up on the slopes are a happy place…for about half my family. We don’t have kids and the others enjoy walks but are not physically up for big hikes or skiing.

Looking for any activities in the area that we could do as a family…anything from a day trip to Leadville (thinking silver dollar saloon, mining museum, melly/shopping, maybe a brewery, etc). We have done downtown Breck a lot but maybe we missed something?

Everyone is into history and even some antiquing. Open to options and glad to share more about the fam if you have questions.

We will be there early December as an early ‘family Christmas’ as we will not be together for the actual holidays. Thanks in advance!

Someone sold me tickets that say "Accessible Seating GA" on them and I am seeing on the Dillon website that it says this:

"ATTENTION: You are purchasing one or more accessible seats. Accessible seating is reserved for individuals with disabilities and their companions.

By continuing with your purchase, you attest that you require, or are purchasing at least one ticket for someone who requires, the features of an accessible seat. Can someone clarify if I am going to get arrested if I try to use these tickets?

My husband and I find ourselves with an unexpected weekend off this weekend, and want to escape for a few days into cooler, more Fall - feeling environments.

I’m moving to summit for work and I’ve been looking for a rental property. I was wondering if there are more options available in the summer? I was considering temporarily moving into a 6 month lease place and then looking for something more permanent in April if more options would open up at that time. Any advice?

I have some old gear I would like to refurbish/repurpose . I have a heavy duty sewing machine but need to buy the supplies. Is there anywhere local that sells these items? I know I can order online but I would rather spend my money at local shops. Is there anywhere in Summit County that sells nylon webbing, outdoor fabric, toggles, buckles, clasps, heavy duty zippers, paracord?

What is the best resource for finding a rental property? I haven’t needed to rent in a very long time so I’m new at this.

Im considering a job offer in summit county and want to check out the real estate situation. Can I get into a house (can be tiny) for under 700k? I’m open to townhouses but want a yard (I have dogs).

I'm vacationing in Breckenridge and doing a hike out of Dillon tomorrow. 4 adults, 4 kids.

The plan is to pick up sandwiches somewhere around 10 and hit the trail, eat em around noon and then head back to the car.

My Dad is visiting, and I’m definitely wanting to take him on hikes, and other freeish things. Any suggestions? Where are your favorite spots/things to do this time of year? Anywhere an hour or two outside of Summit County too!

My wife and I will most likely be staying at copper mountain in the middle of October for our ananniversary. Will hiking & ATV trails still be open during this time of the year?

Greetings from Florida. I am seeking a local hairstylist to come to the Keystone Lodge this Saturday (August 10) to style the recently cut and colored, shoulder-length hair of one female bridesmaid. Along Montezuma Road there is a makeshift shelter made of tree branches leaning against a boulder. It isn’t too well-hidden, and I’ve seen bicyclists stop and take a look.

It looks like the kind of shelter that a survivalist might build in an emergency. At the same time, it looks more than a little creepy. It didn’t look like it was being used, and I didn’t see any obvious signs of a campfire.

Has anyone else noticed it? Is it well-known or are there stories about it? It seems like it’s been there for a while.

The other thing about this hut is that there are gazillion-dollar homes right across the road, so it made for a rather stark contrast.

Trying to see if I am able to still cliff jump at Green Mountain Res in Colorado. Is it still illegal? Can we still jump if we keep an eye out for cops? What’s the word.

I drove up to see a show last night, and I have to say, what an amazing experience.

The amphitheater is great, not a bad seat in the house and overall so easy to manage from ticket buying, to getting in, to getting seats, to getting concessions or using the bathroom... 10 out of 10.

What I was most impressed by was the community of it all. Everyone was respectful and friendly. It was one of the most chill concerts I've ever been to.

I own a condo in Keystone (Buffalo Lodge). IT is on an STR. I use Allstate to insure my condo, but dur to rate hike, I want to start shopping around to see if I can find a better rate. Who do you use and are you happy? Any and all suggestions are welcomed.
