Hi everyone - I have a week of time at the Grand Lodge on Peak 7 (https://www.grandlodgeonpeak7.com) in Breckenridge from Sunday January 5th to Sunday January 12th 2025 that I'm looking to sell. I'm asking $3,000 for the week which is a deal as this week is going for about $4,500 for the same time. For those of you not familiar with Grand Lodge on Peak 7, the lift is quite literally out the back door of the resort. There's lots of great on-site amenities including hot tubs, spa, movie theaters and a restaurant on-site. If you want to go downtowwn Breckenridge, there's a free gondola lift a short walk away (and I do mean short) during the day and a shuttle service running in the evenings.
If you're interested in this, please PM me and I'll be happy to answer any questions.
Looks like some pretty warm weather for the next few days. I have never been and am just curious what locals / frequent visitors here think as I have had this trip booked for a while now and am getting slightly concerned, despite the recent storm
Ill be in Breckenridge next week for Ullr fest. Im a better partier than skier but enjoy both. I booked the condo and now people are bailing. I may be there by myself for a few days but, fuck it. If you’re gonna be there and are mostly sane and don’t mind a rando joining ya in some partying hit me up.
I'll be in Breckenridge with my ski club for a week this winter.
My question is should I keep my physical Epic Pass in an armband while skiing or on a lanyard? Or am I better off just using the app? From what I read on the Epic website I can just get on the lift with the app on my phone and in my pocket.
What do the locals say?
Thanks.
Going to be visiting breckenridge this february for a ski trip. I'm also looking to enhance my experience and smoke some bud while in breckenridge. My question, how strict are dispos when it comes to fake ids? I'm 20 and could probably pass as a 21 year old. Are there any dispos that are more relaxed with their ID checks? If not, where do you recommend i pick some bud up? Thank you all
Is there anyone in breckenridge or nearby that can give a private lesson. 2 first timers, the price for lessons each person were outrageous and I know I wouldn't be getting the best teaching in a group setting
Hey! I'm headed out over Christmas with the family and wondering if anyone knows the best way to buy discounted lift tickets. Daily tix are crazy, only looking at skiing a few days. I spent 2 seasons in breck in the early 2000's and we used to sell our comp or discounted tickets. Any info would help!
Hi all. I’m coming for a week in January with family but sadly I can no longer ski. Is it worthwhile for me to get a lift pass for a day or two to head up the mountains and meet family for lunch etc? Or is that not really possible at Breck if you’re not skiing? Thanks.
Anyone have a projection as to when the Imperial lift and the hike up to 13k feet from the top of it will open given the big snowstorm earlier this week? They said on Instagram today that the T-Bar might be able to open this Saturday (11/30), which is, from what I'm seeing, atypical and much earlier than usual. This leads me to think they're way ahead of schedule in opening all the terrain on 7 and 8. Apologies if my question is naive. I've never been to Breck before but am visiting in a couple of weeks.
Hello, I am planning on having a vacation in Breckenridge during the end of December, and was wondering how is the weather around that time. would all seasons tires suffice or would I need to buy winter tires?
What are conditions typically like at the end of February? Is it still very cold? Has the spring melt started?
Anyone know the latest on housing availability at Terrace? Got an offer to be a liftie with "housing may be available", but haven't heard anything regarding it. Looking to see what the deal is before I possibly move forward. Thanks!
Hey,
Planning to leave breck tomorrow, not sure if it’s safe to leave? It stopped snowing, but not sure how fast they clean up the roads. I have a FWD sedan
I am coming to Breckenridge to ski, this is my first time. although next week there is no snow and mostly sunny as per the weather report! what type of car do you recommend for rental. will a mid size SUVsuffice or should I take a AWD one.
What’s the best recommendation, in your opinion, for snowmobiling in Breckenridge? I’ve never done it before and no one in my group has; my mom and her friend will be coming to visit from the southeast (zero snow experience) and this is kind of a little day trip thing to make some last memories with my mom as she is about at the end of her cancer journey. Wanting to take us to have a good time and snowmobiling sounds fun. There’s 4 of us.
Hi all, the past couple times I’ve gone to Breckenridge has been around December 15-18th and will be there those same dates this year. I’d say I’m pretty intermediate in skiing skill level; good on blues (love runs like Claimjumper), and I can manage a black/moguls.
I’ve always wanted to try the Peak 6 blues and skiing above the treeline, but it’s unfortunately never open when I’m there. I may be asking this pretty far in advance, but does anyone know the odds of Peak 6 being open? And if so, would I survive?
Heading up fri-sat and plan to ski mostly peak 9 with kids. How are the lift lines?
Hi all! My wife and I are planning a trip to Breck in December and wanted to book a lesson for our first day there. We see two options of lesssons on the website: 1. "Adult Beginner / Intermediate Group Snowboard Lesson", 2. "Adult First Time Group Snowboard Lesson". Which do you recommended we choose?
Our experience:
We have been to snowboard a total of 2 times on the east coast. Have only stayed on the bunny hill. Both of us can stay on the board. I can do a toe stop, and can do very basic, very wide turns. again haven't even been to greens yet, just on the bunny slopes. My wife is a level behind me. She's yet to do a proper stop by herself but she can stay on the board.

Hi,
I just arrived at Gold point resort today. I have a small sedan car that made it difficult to drive in the snow. Had to have a towing company help me reach the resort. Now, I am stuck in the resort, no food or anyone to deliver anything. I want to head back to Denver tomorrow but I am kinda scared that I will get stuck again in the snow.
Any suggestions?
My fiancé and I are planning to elope in Breckenridge/surrounding area the week of 02/10/2025. We are looking for location recs! We have a photographer HOWEVER, she is traveling to Breckenridge to photograph us. Any recs are appreciated:))
Is i-70 closed? is there a bypass like the 6? or the only way is wait for i-70 to open up again?

Has anyone stayed at the fireside inn lately? I’m curious what the shared bathrooms are like. I can’t find any info or pictures on their website.
Hola! Coming out from the NE with my kids for Spring Break in April. I've been out a few times but they've never done a Rockies type trip. Aside from skiing, which we'll do 2-3 days - God willing he provides the white stuff - any other cool things to see or do in the surrounding area? And views or sights that will take your breath away. Or cute towns aside of Breck, that's our home base. Looking for stuff we can't do out at home.
On the list now:
Country Boy Mine Dog Sledding and/or Snowmobile Tour - if not too late in the season for either Exploring town, shopping, restaurants etc Vail worth the ride for lunch?
TIA. Also, I know it's not a terribly long ride but any cool half way or lunch or walk around stops from Denver to Breck - do let me know.
