Saw him take the spill while we were on the lift around 3pm. It was really bad luckily there were employees there that saw it happen too. I hope he’s okay. Be safe y’all 😭
Our friends will be skiing tomorrow but my fiance (who we think got a little sick from our flight considering he’s had a fever today) and I have decided not to join. We have to leave our Airbnb at 10am and are stuck here while they ski. Where can we go to hangout and chill for a few hours?
A friend and I are looking to visit Breckenridge March 14th - 17th. We're wondering if it's possible (and where to look) to find a kind stranger who has an epic pass with extra buddy passes to get a nice little discount on lift tickets for two days for two people. I don't know if that would be 4 buddy passes or if this is even possible, but is this a thing?
My husband and I are coming in next weekend for a long weekend. We both haven’t been to Breckenridge in 10 plus years. Where should we eat in the village? My birthday is Saturday night so thinking some laid back places 2 nights and a nicer option Saturday night? Italian? Pizza? Steak? We aren’t picky. Thanks!
Headed to breck tomorrow. Any insight on the conditions of the upper terrain like the whales tale?
Would hate to spend all that money to not have enough snow to ski.
What’s the latest with the liftie housing issues & them calling in sick? I haven’t heard anything about it in a week or so.
I can’t see Vail resorts moving that fast but I haven’t heard they are still calling in sick?
Are there any breakfast spots/diners/coffee shops that have a really good cinnamon roll? Extra points for being a huge cinnamon roll as well.
Offering 1/2
Hoping for some input from the locals / regulars…. 13 years ago I was in Breck skiing and did the Imperial Superchair, mainly because I wanted to see the amazing views and get a photo of a lifetime with my mom.
I’ve returned finally and want to return to see that spectacular view again, but I’ve noticed there aren’t any blue runs down? I thought there was a single blue route down when I did it 13 years ago, but maybe it was a single black and I just sucked it up? But seeing now it’s all double blacks…. I doubt I would’ve done that. Have the runs gotten harder? I can’t do bumps but if it’s a steep single black for a bit I’d like to go do it, but don’t want to get in over my head. Any advice welcome! Just trying to recreate a memory with my mom! Thanks in advance.
Hello! I’m looking for activities in or around Breckenridge to do with some friends who are coming to visit and stay there. We will be spending time together Feb 15th, Valentine’s Day weekend. Unfortunately for me, I am recovering from a broken leg and cannot do the more physical activities like skiing.
So, what are some fun things to do on a Saturday afternoon/evening in Breckenridge? I know there is some great shopping, what are some of the better bars/breweries to hang out for a drink? Activities/entertainment? Best sightseeing during the winter? Specific events for that weekend? We are up for pretty much anything (that a recovering leg can handle).
Here by myself for a few days. Dont go to alot of bars at home but dont really want to just stay in the hotel room all night after getting my ass kicked by snowboarding, so is there a bar i’d feel the least amount of awkard at sitting alone?
Besides Downstairs at Erics of course
I took this photo at 2:45pm Tuesday January 28th at Breckenridge! If he is single, I would like to get his number
i have a 4 day pass and plan on skiing breck at least 2 days. with the snow conditions, will it be worth it to hit beaver creek and/or keystone? trying to get some variety if we can. i'm a more advanced skier and can handle black or double black if that helps. thanks in advance!
Favorite places to watch the Super Bowl? I’d imagine Eric’s is on this list, does RMU do anything for the game?
Hey all! Have a birthday trip scheduled March 6-10 (birthday on the 8th.)
Green (some blue run) boarder. Any peaks/runs that are must rides, any to stay away from?
Thank you all in advance!
Heading to Breck skiing Sun to Fri. Expert skier used to east coast/Austria skiing, were should I go on Sunday to avoid the weekend crowds? Staying at Bivvi.
Hey guys. Which are the best blue runs when temperature is above freezing like this weekend?
I have a friend who did not get their bindings mounted in time for our trip to Breckenridge.
Is there a place in town that can mount bindings when we get there and have them ready in time to ski the next day?
I see a ton of places to rent ski gear but was unsure if they mounted personal gear too.
My family always plans a trip to Breckenridge each year to ski/snowboard. I just found out I am pregnant, so sadly no skiing for me. I didn’t know if there were other activities that one would recommend to do that would be safe?
Thanks in advanced!
Hello! I have a couple friends coming up and they don’t ski or board, so we were looking for a good spot to set up camp and watch people ski down. Preferably somewhere with good drinks! Any recommendations?
Hey guys. I’m real new to skiing. I’ve gone 3 times in my life and never in Colorado. Headed to Breckenridge with a group soon and we’re staying basically at the Peak 8 base.
I’m ideally looking for flat runs that let me go at a slow speed and work on my S turns. I’d like to get some confidence and work my way up to better greens, without getting in anyone’s way.
Everything I read online says Peak 9 and the Quicksilver runs will be exactly what I need. However since we’re staying at the base of peak 8:
Got invited to go with a group on Tuesday to Breckenridge ski resort (tmr) but its a 2 hr drive and the ticket will cost $182 which is a lot for me. Is the snow worth it?
I have a condo booked for Friday-Sunday on peak 9 and will have to move my car after checkout on Sunday, but would like to ski for the day so trying to figure out the most convenient parking option.
It looks like F Lot is a short walk from the condo and I’m looking to stay walking distance to Quicksilver so thinking about parking there (cheaper than Beaver Run). What time does F Lot start to fill up? Trying to determine what time Sunday morning I should move my car there by. Thanks!
curious where to get a keg around breck
Thanks for all the recommendations for gear, we are planning to bring our boots and rent skis/poles for our ski trip in a few weeks.
We are bringing our 3 kids to ski the Rockies for the first time. They are all strong skiers in the East. I haven’t been to Breck to ski in about 20 years and don’t have much memory of the mountain other than it’s lots of fun.
Planning skiing 3 midweek days. Where should we park and where should we ski? Do I need to reserve parking for our rental car? We have epic passes.
I’m a solid competent skier who prefers blue groomers but I can get down most runs. Kids are all more daring but know nothing of powder skiing so I want to make them start slow. They are 10, 12 & 15, 15yo is the best skier in the family but they are all good. My husband will ski with us 2 of 3 days and he’s the newest and most hesitant skier. For the first day especially with him we will stick to greens and easy blues. We will likely all ski together the whole time unless someone wants a break or my oldest and youngest (the biggest daredevils) want to do something harder.
I’d love to have a plan in place so I can say hey kids were are taking this lift and this run and they know what to expect. Which peaks would be best for us?
Thanks so much!
ik the rec center exists but wanted to check if there was smth better/cheaper
Sup guys! East coast rider here going out west for the first time ever next week. Super stoked but also kind of nervous. Staying in Breck but down to travel reasonably. Never ridden 3+ days in a row on the East coast but I’m going for an entire week. Any recovery advice? Or recommendations for food or non-boarding hours? Is the elevation going to destroy me? Compared to the east coast are the trails significantly more difficult?
