Hey there - first time in Breck next week. Was hoping to bring my drone and get some nice landscape shots. We’ve got a house south of town on the main road.

It looks like drones aren’t allowed up the mountain or on the resort land, but are drones allowed at all in any of the rest of the Breck area if we’re just doing some normal hikes that aren’t up the mountains?

I have an offer with housing to work at Breckenridge as a “rental associate”. The job description is very vague so I’m trying to get an understanding of what the job is like. Does the shop get super busy like the resort? Will I have much free time to snowboard? Do you get riding breaks during the day?

My boyfriend, best friend and myself are coming up from the Springs on Sunday and were curious if anything fun is going on? Fall festivities in particular? Lmk! :)

All the parking rules and information for the town is located on the Breck Park website. Keep in mind they WILL ticket and fine you if you are parked illegally. They literally have people who walk up and down main street (and town) all day checking and rechecking license plates. Thats the their job.. all day.

If you are RENTING a car from Denver, please keep in mind the Colorado Traction Laws. Don’t be the reason I-70 gets shut down.

Most of the main town is walk-able so it’s always recommended to grab a shuttle from the airport vs renting a car.

Boreas Pass Loop is exclusive to Breckenridge. And Blue River is kind of Breckenridge too. Plus there are a few stops on the north end of town that are only accessible by the Frisco/Breckenridge Route.

Can I vehicle camp?

No vehicle camping is allowed in the Town of Breckenridge per Town Ordinance 6-3H- 4

Uber/Lyft/Ridesharing can take a while, and it may not be available if there's a big storm or very late at night, so do NOT rely on it like you would in Denver or another major city. Best bet is the bus system, hotel shuttle or walking while in town.

Hi all, I'm looking for some input on a family vacation to Colorado in February of 2025. For background, we'll have two kids under 4, and about 10 adults aged 25-68. Some of our main focuses would be train rides, snowmobiling, and hot springs. We are currently looking at Breckenridge. We'd fly from Big Island to Denver and rent a car to get where we want to go. Found a really cheap flight for a trip in the second week of December, and I'm thinking about jumping on it. I've never been skiing out west before and I've always wanted to go.

I'm concerned that conditions won't be very good, especially with the warmer weather and shorter winters I've been experiencing at home in the last few years. How good is mountain coverage/snow usually at that time of the season?

Hey there Breckenridge fam. I come about 2x a year and this year I’ll be staying at the Tyra Summit. I’ll have my family with me and they just wanted to not walk to a lift so I found maybe the only true ski in and ski out. Was wondering if anyone had some answers or insight to some questions I have straight away. I’m just gonna spit it out, if you can answer wonderful or any other info is great! Am I correct that it is a true ski in and ski out? What’s the best way of going to town and walking Main Street? (It seems it could be walkable, but some of family is a bit older and again doesn’t want to do a marathon) I guess really what I’m wondering is the topic of ski in ski out and like the rules there. As well as how we can still experience the town, maybe the bus comes through idk.

My fiancé and I are getting married this weekend in Breckenridge, CO. We booked a great air BNB but unfortunately once we got there we realized it was quite far away from downtown Breckendridge (20 minutes). This is obviously my issue since I should have looked at the location, but it sounded close to everything. We were wanting to go out for drinks a couple nights and want to obviously find a sober cab back, does anyone have any insight?? I was looking at Lyft and Uber and they are quite spendy, wasn't sure if there are other options that may have been more affordable. I'm pretty bummed out we are so far away from everything.

I'm asking because it seems obvious to get an Epic Day Pass, so why would someone choose a one day lift ticket? It says "which product is right for you?" and I'm thinking...the one that's $134 cheaper. I suppose it's the refundability of the lift ticket?
