I was told we just put the ski pants over the long underwear, is that correct? if not what else would we wear? And then for the ski pants, what kind of belt do you wear?
Hey everyone! Im visiting Breckenridge from the 11-15th of november, Im trying to hire ski lessons but everything I find online starts after the 15th. Does anyone know or recommend a company/FL instructor that I can hire? thankssss
I have a 2WD Rav4 w all-season tires.... do you think it's a big deal that I don't AWD if I will just be driving between Keystone Ski Resort and Breckenridge Ski Resort all winter?
Best night out spots for a Saturday night in Breckenridge ?
Hi Guys, this may be a silly question but this will be our first time in Colorado and on the slopes. We found a place to rent our ski gear but when we get to PEAK 8 or 9 do we pay to ski when we get there? How much is parking at the Peaks. Any help would be appreciated.
Saw an Epic Day pass? is this something you can access the peaks with? Just a little confused!
My family will be going to Breckenridge for Christmas. Unfortunately, I am currently on hemodialysis and though this may be a stretch I was curious if anyone in this sub had any information on the closest dialysis centers to Breckenridge and any recommendations?
Looks like Breck is getting a bunch of snow right now. What trails and lifts might actually be open on Friday for opening day?
My sister & her 2 teenagers (have never snowboarded or skied) want to book 1/2 day lessons the week of Christmas. Her options are Peak 8, The Village, or Beaver Run. Which would be the best place to book the lesson for a beginner? I know it will be super busy that week. We are staying in FairPlay, so ski in/out isn’t in the equation. They definitely want to ski Breck & not Copper.
Hi, any recommendations on a fine dining spot there this new year’s eve. Will be there with family.
What moisturizers (aside from aquaphor) do you use to combat this dry cold weather itchy skin?
Girls trip is coming up in Feb to Breckenridge - staying at Grand Timber Lodge. I am looking for fun things to do for the week. Any favorite experiences/restaurants? Thanks for sharing!
So my boyfriend and I are planning on taking a trip to Colorado in June or July haven’t decided yet! Which time is better to go??
Please give me some ideas on what to do where to go and what can you skip out on! I’m okay with driving other places!! We just want to do as much as we can and see as much as we can for this trip!
Please give me all of the ideas! Thanks in advance!
I lost driver’s license and need new one asap. Appointments are 2 weeks out. Any DMV accept walk ins?
We want to take a road trip in September, will there be any events that time of year? We want to see the colors change and the views. I’m also planning on proposing while there.
Have been lurking as title says I'm planning a proposal in December, Christmas week. Ideally I'm looking for somewhere more secluded, I was thinking snowshoeing on some trial but any recs? Wouldn't mind one in the town in the evening as well. Also would like to know if there is a nice restaurant to celebrate that night as well. New account so she doesn't find out fingers crossed lol TIA
I will be moving to breck in December and will be working at the resort. I have used rental gear at my home mountain for the last couple of years so I don’t not have my own gear. Would I be better off buying gear at breck with my employee discount or buying gear online before I come? I heard breck stores prices are higher than the gear online, so it would offset the discount I would get? Any opinions and thoughts?
Hey everyone, firstly, I have an above average experience with my timeshares, so I may take hate here.
We were offered a bonus week at the Breckenridge Lodge on Peak 7, didn’t have to trade for it on Interval International, so we took it.
I did a “courtesy” tour at Peak 8, and honestly liked what I saw. Are there any here who bought in at Peak 7, or Peak 8, who either love or hate it? Any insights?
I’m considering buying in at Peak 8, and wanted to get a pulse from owners or those who either passed or tried to get out of it.
Hey folks. My wife has been skiing one time in her life and was able to survive the greens at snowshoe. Any really great views or vista trails that we can access while skiing?
hey all!! has anyone moved into the Terrace and can give insight into the size of the rooms / how much storage space is available?
Hi Reddit community,
I am flying from Texas to Colorado for Nov 1st weekend ( Nov 1 through Nov 5). I am coming there with my family with my 8 & 3 yo kids. We were planning to drive down to Breckenridge, Aspen , maroon bells and back to RMNP before flying back . As we started planning, I see majority of attractions are closed like Independence pass, Trail ridge road on RMNP, Most ski resorts , gondola rides & George Town rail route , Zipline and most other activities are paused for the shoulder season. Is there anything else we could do considering this shoulder season closures ? I would be interested in doing scenic drives and sight seeing than any adventure activities . Appreciate your suggestions
I’m curious as to if there are any restaurants in the area that use locally sourced food from only colorado?
Soo can someone tell me if the Snowflake lift, is beginner friendly? I looked on the trail map but it seems to lead up to a blue area which then progresses to green I also read a comment about the lift leading up a beginner zone. Is there an unloading zone halfway or something?
Looking for friends in Vail/ Breckenridge area . I start working at keystone this December. Is there any Facebook, Discord employee groups ? Thank you.

Hey! I’m driving up from Texas during thanksgiving week and will be staying around Breckenridge or Twin Lakes. I’m carrying snow chains and have M&S tires but do not have a AWD. How bad does it get during this time and is it easy to navigate the roads? Anything I should know beforehand? Any advice?
Do I need to buy a jug of water or is the tap water in Blue River good to go as drinking water?
I basically want to take my family to see snow. I don’t really want to go skiing or anything my daughter is only two. Is there snow this time of year?
