Does anyone know of any east coast style hotdogs dog stands? While I enjoy the Sonoran style hotdogs, I miss the simple, boiled dogs and steamed buns as many New England/New York style places have! thanks!
I’m here for school and I wanted advice on if it’s better to drive or fly back by myself to the eastern side of LA county (San Gabriel Valley area) from Phoenix for my school breaks. I flew for the past two breaks and both times it took me 4-5.5 hours from leaving for Sky Harbor to getting back to my parents place, which is the same amount of time if I had drove. I’m leaning towards just driving if my break is longer than a week and flying if it’s shorter but what do you guys think?
There were a few PHX PD cars over an hour ago and now I just counted 31 cars on scene with lights flashing. Anyone know what is going on? Seems like it would have to be major for such a massive response
Anybody know what happened to the Tropical Smoothie Cafe on Camelback and 16th Street that it just closed all of a sudden with no warning? I was there last weekend on Sunday, and when I tried to go back yesterday, less than a week later, it's permanently closed, but without any signs on the door explaining what happened. Just a bunch of cardboard in the windows and no signage anymore other than the permanent stuff mounted to the building. I'm sad because that was our go-to smoothie spot after gym visits.
Asking for myself 😁😋
I’m interested in the history of the local area, and I’m in the area often. I heard it was sold post covid to develop some condos but it still stands, I am glad it didn’t get torn down but its so sad to see it in the state its in. I think someone should renovate into a nice spa. I know the area is…. Questionable but that might help change things. Anyways just curious about if it’s gonna be torn down anytime soon? Did the family who originally owned back out of the sale maybe? Cross posted from r/mesa in case someone here knows more!
So, out here in Surprise we used to have a drop-off recycling station, but it’s seems to be shut down for some reason? I’ve got a load of broken down boxes in my garage… where can i recycle these things here in the west valley that isn’t a landfill?
I understand that whatever the reason was for you to surrender her in the field to an officer, I know it could not have been easy. Saying goodbye, lost hopes, or even pride while having to surrender “Bree” now Skeeter.
I thank you so much for doing the right thing, and want you to know I am so grateful she was surrendered to the Humane Society and not county or just kicked to the streets.
It’s only been about three weeks, but you can’t see her spine anymore and her back hips don’t stick out. She’s definitely a handful with a whole lot more puppy in her then I had bargained for but thank you so much for my new friend and thank you for doing the right thing. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
You saved two lives that day. Thank you.
Got a day to do some shopping and haven't been to Phoenix in ages. Wife loves a bargain and is not invested in brands. We'll be there after Christmas, so if you know of places with good sales, even better. My first thought was Fashion Square, but honestly, that place is too huge and maybe too ritzy. What are your thoughts? Thanks!
My 3 year old little boy was attacked by another cat and needs emergency medical treatment. I'm pretty much broke and this little cat is my entire world. What should I do for him? Please help me!!!!!! Thank you reddit. I have faith in you.
My partner and I are going to be flying into Phoenix next weekend. We were thinking we could bring our shoes and hit up a bouldering gym before driving to our destination to break up the flight and drive time. We both climb around v6 max. We are looking for recommendations of a gym to stop by. Thanks!
Hey all, looking for someone who does deep tissue or sports massage. More on the medical side. I’m battling myofascial pain syndrome and costochondritis. Thanks!!!
Hi! I wanted to take my boyfriend to one, I have seen a korean one but I don’t think they add the filters lol. Has anyone seen one before ?
Looking to go to Glendale for authentic Mexican food before Zach Bryan show. Looking for recommendations. Thanks in advance
Anyone know of a shop that can reweave a suit with moth holes?
I’m looking for reliable overnight care for a senior loved one in Phoenix. Ideally, we need someone who can monitor them during the night and ensure their safety. Any recommendations?
Does anyone know of any gas stations with a particularly good t shirts and hat selection? I’m looking for trucker t shirts or loud America shirts - that type of thing. North Phoenix around the 17 preferably. Thanks!

Looking for a spot (preferably downtown/central Phoenix) to bar hop on a Friday early afternoon. Think Sunday Funday but on a Friday. lol I’ll be taking a relative from out of town, so a plus if it’s a cool/unique place.
I had the roof of my car wrapped about 2 years ago and can’t find the contact info for the guys who did it. I’m hoping to find someone who will remove a wrap that they didn’t install. The wrap is just regular 3M material but has started to fade and crack. Does anyone know who I could get in contact with to remove it? I’ve looked at several wrap businesses in my area but none list removal as a service on their websites.
Kind of a specific obsession but I'm looking for great Al Pastor. I've had it from countless taco shops, trucks, and strip mall storefronts. My favorite so far is Taqueria Blue Tortilla, but I had some literally mind blowing spit grilled pork at some little ritzy cafe in California and I want to see if there's anyone doing a slightly more uppity take on this basic staple in the valley.
South and East Valley are preferable, but if somebody is doing a little higher end interpretation of this dish - have craving, will travel. Thanks!
I am looking for a good place with reasonable pricing for a suit. My top price is like $500.
Prefer near Mesa/Queen Creek area. Any suggestions?
Looking for take out/catering for 10 people. Budget is about $150-$180. Office location is around 44th street and Thomas, want something decent for a holiday party, but doesn’t have to be extravagant. Previously we have done Garcias platters but looking to switch it up.
I was pretty bummed out that Postino no longer has their Crème brûlée on the menu. This is one of my favorite desserts and currently looking for another another spot to kill my craving.
For some reason I don't understand, people here like tile floors, even though that's harder on your feel and back, and makes it more likely that anything that falls will break, and even if you're the one falling, you're most likely to break something.
I happen to have carpeting. I've had a lovely guy - pleasant, meticulous, reasonably priced - who's now out of the picture. Do you have anyone to recommend? I've had two places recommended, McFarland and ZeroRez, but I've done best with one-man operations, especially as I'm not stuck paying for overhead.
I live out in the west valley and have 3 KFC's within 4 miles of me. They all suck! Both the food and service. Is there any good ones?
