My guess it’s a walking lane since 98% of people on a bicycle ride on the sidewalk. Seriously, tired of getting kicked to the curb.
Where is a good place to get hard rolls for sandwiches in east valley
I need to have my couch removed from my apt and an hoping for any recs you can provide. Thanks!
Just bought a car and want add a stereo system and some new door speakers, anyone know who is reliable and for the right price ?
My apologies for yet another traffic related post. I tried searching, but couldn't find any recent information.
I've worked from home for the last 8 years or so, but am starting a new job where I'll need to commute. I live up in Anthem, and will be commuting to Goodyear (near Van Buren and Litchfield Road. ..far from ideal, I know.)
It looks like my best bet is to take the 303 around, to hopefully minimize any rush hour impact on the already lengthy drive. (I know Google Maps isn't 100% reliable, but it looks like I can just take the 303 right to Van Buren, and then head east on that surface street instead of the 10?)
For anyone else who commutes on the 303 or resides in that area, could you please let me know how substantial (if at all) rush hour is on that stretch of highway?
Thanks!
Hi! I’m searching for a dance studio in Phoenix or the East Valley that has heels classes. I’ve done the Google, yelp, instagram search and found nothing so I figured I’d come ask here. Anyone have any recommendations?
Looking for recommendations on either power brooms something like the link or there are a few that resemble a mower.
Prefer electric than dealing with 2 stroke engines but nothing I’ve found appears to have consistent reviews.
Need something to just get the dog poop out and help keep it cleaner throughout the year.
Not letting me link but looking at some trying called turfmatic 600
My son lives in an apartment complex near Mountain Pointe and called to tell me the complex is burning. Anybody have any details?
Outside of the HOA neighborhood there are many abandoned cars near Maricopa Institute. I understand the surrounding areas is industrial and still developing but I’m wondering why this is the spot for people to abandon their cars. Sometimes they even have shattered windows.
I’ve dabbled in calisthenics over the years, but I’m wanting to get more into it and be around people that I could learn from. Does anyone know of anyone who specializes in this or any groups or group workouts focusing on calisthenics?
Hi all,
I am new to the area and wanted to know what are the best golf shops to find good deals on used clubs? Thank you in advance for your recommendations :)
We have a lot of people visiting the Phoenix area for the Waste Management Open, so have created a thread for questions, ideas, connections, and everything else.
This subreddit is primarily for locals so we limit new posts about visiting. We encourage visitors to look at some of our past posts and search the subs for great ideas in the Valley:

This is a pre-game thread, and we will probably refresh it when the Open is about to start.
So there is a lacrosse tournament out in Mesa at Arizona Athletic Park formerly Bell Bank Park, it is $2400/team to play in, which is on par for any Adrenaline tournament nationwide even the one last month at the Polo fields in Palm Springs Ca. This venue though then charges $5/ car to park and $15/person per day to enter the facility, prohibits outside food or drink even though we are there for almost 6 hours again typical. So for a family of 4 to go cheer on our oldest we are out another $130+ meals if needed. Likely with 8 divisions and 8-10 teams per, 1500-1600 athletes plus families in attendance. Thats criminal.
If you are a local event manager or Athletic director boycott this BS there are plenty of great facilities that don’t gouge your families on the back end after your kids are already paying hundreds in admission to play.
What are some good spots in Phoenix for middle aged couples to go dancing (contemporary or oldies tunes)? We are trying to avoid the typical night club party scene. Just wanting a fun night out. Thx
Hi, I'm visiting for the weekend and would like to cycle the road to Bartlett Lake. I know I'm asking a little late but is there a lot of traffic this time of year? TIA.
I seen they have a vending machine in Chandler, but that’s about it
Helicopter with spotlight was circling on 7th ave between Indian school and camelback at 12:30 am this morning. Looked like they were shining the light on thunderbird lounge. Anyone know what happened?
Hey everyone, recently moved to Phoenix and trying to find places to go for latin dancing (salsa/bachata). Does anyone have recommendations on places I should be checking out? I have checked out Dave & busters(tempe) , Mijanas and the Genuine so far
Any recommendations on the places or where to look for the information would be helpful!
I'm looking to get an overcoat made but I don't know who makes good clothes? I don't mind paying for good quality, problem is I just don't know any places
This is a follow-up to a post I just saw about it from like a year ago.
Anyway, I moved back out here to Mesa about a month ago, and I walked down Horne between University Drive and Main Street and noticed that they were installing Google Fiber down that way. I have checked to see if I have coverage where I live and it says I don't. Does anyone at all know when it will be available on University Drive, west of Stapley Drive?

Hello Phoenix dwellers,
I’ll be in town this weekend. Does anyone know of any good places to go social dancing or take a group lesson this Saturday or Sunday?
For the lesson I’m an intermediate level dancer
Thank you!
It’s just me or is it getting hotter here- quickly. My car only had condensation once this winter and that was last week, next week we have a high of 80. I remember a couple times as a child (I’m a big kid now, 24) it actually snowed in phoenix, even though it melted once it hit the ground. So is it just me or is it heating up here in Phoenix quickly….
Me and a friend are looking to go bar hopping, somewhat within walking distance of each other. I live here but I’m not one to attend bars often. Preferably not one with a dress code please
Went to Emilio's and realized it had been turned into a different restaurant, even though the Emilio's sign is still outside and most of the inside is still the same. Tried the food but I wouldn't try it again. Does anyone know what happened? Did they sell the business or just move?
