Only got a re-up on Canamo LR (Ghost OG and High School Sweethearts) so didn’t get a chance to check out everything else. It is deli style just like the other pondys. Overheard another budtender say they merged about 2 months ago and remodeled last month.

High Mountain Cannabis in Flagstaff has merged with Ponderosa?

First time trying Shango. I am a home grower but wanted some Sativa, as I'm currently only stocked with Indica. I heard good things about Shango's Sour D genetics, but have also heard Shango is very hit-or-miss with their flower. 30% off for Medical Monday so I went for it! I use a 10 point ratings system instead of 5 points.

Bag Appeal - 7/10  - If the trichomes were more pronounced, this would be an 8.5 or 9 out of 10. The nugs are good size with pockets of orange hairs. The nugs were fluffy and had not  dried out, at all. 

Smell - 8/10 - It's one of those lemon Pine Sol strains. Very loud but not too chemical. I've found some strains with the "pine sol" terps can develop a very chemical aroma, which I don't like. This strain doesn't do that. Lovely nose

Taste- 8/10 - Same as the nose. Very pleasant, smooth vaping flower. 

Effects - 8.5/10 - Really excellent high! The haze comes through with an energetic high and the Sour D keeps it in check, with no paranoia or rapid heartbeat. After vaping two,  tenth of a gram bowls, I am feeling fine! Ready to do some chores. I am energetic, focused, and feel a sense of calming euphoria. 

Final thoughts - This is one of those pickups where my expectations were exceeded. Shango grew a great strain with this Sour Haze. I would recommend it and would definitely try them in the future. Score 8/10

Excited to try some new strains! So far, I’ve only had the red dragon and the mad honey, both of which I really liked. 

Also, I’ve said it once before, but I reallyyy like the artwork on these. It’s nice to see quality branding with quality product. Just wish it also had the genetics listed

Did the bloodwork today and got the free eighth 😵‍💫. It took an hour 15 to do it, get to find out my blood too. Picked up what was fresh , being April 1st (Real “fresh” huh). I still am fine with donating blood but if you say it’s fresh, at least be may. Am I being too harsh?


Smell - it’s smells pleasant. Like a cherry coke with a bit of lime. It’s a real nice sweet smell.

Appearance - it’s pretty nice. Really a light green, nice orange hairs. One bud was a top piece and it looks nice. It’s quite plush. A little scared at first cause the seal came right off as I opened the lid. 

Grind - a lil crispy. It’s not the worst, buts it’s not ideal. I feel like I can moisten it up obit I shouldn’t have too 😔

Taste/Ash - A solid cream taste, bit like the garden taste too. The exhale was solid, didn’t cough much if at all. No dry throat so far from this. The ash is a solid white/grey mix. 

Effects - effects are pretty solid. Feel it in the face, eyes definitely. I do feel a good bit of hunger (got a turkey leg in the oven) in the mouth a good bit. It’s a solid head high
OVERALL (8.5)

If this was the freshest there was, I’m a little worried what the other dates would be if this was the freshest. I’m fine with donating blood but don’t say you did something if you didn’t . It was solid for being free so I won’t be too critical but I just wish they didn’t say fresh packs if they’re weren’t any.

Rolling a joint was smooth and easy, with the flower sticking nicely despite its dryness.

I was going to place an order for some varz today at Naturemed when I noticed they had LHR Jam which is something I have never seen before from Varz and I also can’t find any reviews of it on here. In my opinion it is the same quality as the normal LHR just with more of a traditional badder consistency, which I prefer as it is easier to put in blunts, joints, etc. I am interested to see if anyone else has tried it and what your opinions are?

Saw some b06os and di5c0unts so figured I’d replenish my quickly dwindling fridge stash. For me personally, the GS Strawberry Pie LHR tastes mostly strawberry with a faint pie crust sugary undertone. IMHO the Funk Mtn 5 LHR tastes better than the Funk Mtn 5 LR Terp Sugar. Haven’t tried the Canamos yet, nor have I have tried either strain. Enjoying my new Dr. Dabber XS so much that my grams are disappearing like a ninja in the night. Lastly, got some GS LHR gummies cuz they were n1ne bucks each. Happy Sunday Ents!
