Balkan Bump is playing at Darkstar this Friday (Nov 1). I caught his set a few years ago when he opened for Clozee and it was such a fun show! Definitely worth checking out if you like funky bass or world music.

My buddy (bassist/vocals) and me (guitarist/vocals) are looking for a drummer in the west phoenix area or anywhere that's relatively close since we're going to college in that area. We're mainly just trying to put demos together right now and would like to have a drummer who can help us shape songs into solid demos. We have some riffs and progressions for now but would like to construct everything with a drummer and not just the two of us. For now, my buddy and I would be cool with just sending recordings back and forth to put demos together before meeting up to actually play what we have and play shows and stuff. We definitely plan on taking the music seriously and only releasing songs if we feel that they have potential. Thanks!
Now available for pre-order the new album from Archaic Godlike Hypocrisy titled "Ritualia ob Obscuratum Cordis" or Ritual For The Darkened Heart" featuring the lead single "In The Halls Of My Fathers." https://archaicgodlikehypocrisy.bandcamp.com/album/ritualia-ob-obscuratum-cordis
I’m in Gilbert, looking for another guitarist, bassist and drummer. I’ve got 3 songs worth of finished material for a project I want to called “Wrothmaw”. Death metal in its roots, but I’d also like to experiment. Influences are opeth, mastodon, death, cattle decap, Agalloch, revocation.
My buddy (bassist and vocals) and me (guitarist and vocals) are looking for a drummer. We're currently in college and have had no luck with finding people on campus that have the time or play drums at all. We're looking to make music that is unique and super catchy, and we don't plan to release music unless we feel that it truly has potential. We're mainly going for an alternative sound. We have a few songs that we've been working on although we're planning to make more unique pieces with the help of a drummer. Thanks!
I got two tickets for the nile theater tonight Peice of life, Feed the lion, Kind Eyes, and get the shot
Wasn't able to go will give for cheap
Hey y'all! I'm Max, I play bass, have been for a long time. Recently started learning some incubus tunes mostly from make yourself/morning view and it's been so much fun to jam to these songs.
I couldn't help think how fun it'd be to play this stuff as a band! So I'm posting this to see if there's any interest.
I'm chill, 4/20 friendly and really would love for this just to be a fun project for all involved! DM me or comment if you're interested!
Thanks for reading!
What are the best spots to throw a first friday? Anything from parks, skate stores or even public streets.
I've already worked out a date with them. I would be playing but I need a few more bands/artists to fill the bill, and I would not necessarily be headlining! If you have a project with a doom metal, drone, industrial sound or anything similar, hmu!
Here is a clip of new band Auburn Effigy practicing. If you guys could follow, share, and leave some feedback that would be awesome. Instagram: @auburneffigy
i'm looking for someone to partner with on a musical act, using today's technology to build a full band sound, and i prefer a female vocalist. if you play an instrument, that's even better, bring it along
the goal is to form a band for recording, gigging, and video, that releases original music, with what is basically modern indie rock, with elements of other genre's of music, edm, hip hop, hard rock, pop, americana, etc. the ultimate dream would be to play at Coachella, but i'm realistic and know that isn't happening tomorrow.
i have a strong but relaxed work ethic, looking to practice or work about once a week, i already own all the recording and video equipment.
i'm not looking for someone to join 'my' band, i'm looking for a full and equal partner from day one, who wants to come in with their ideas, sounds, and wants to build a band with fun songs and intentional aesthetic.
phoenix is the 4th biggest city in the country, and there's not a real 'scene' here, but i see that as a benefit, meaning someone with a strategy could be THE scene.
if you're interested in hearing more, or sharing what some of your goals are, write back and let's talk about it some more.
Looking to start a band and just have some people to help write and record a ep. Got a lot of original material but open to change things and also bring in songs you maybe have written. Really interested in collating with a vocalists looking for someone can do both or either one really well and might have 2 vocalist. Contact me for demo I’ll email it to you if you wanna do vocals.
Hey. I started a stupid simple website for flyers in the Phx area. Its mostly for selfish needs (I wanna know whats going on!) Currently still mining IG from friends accounts. If yr playing an underground show hit me up with yr flyer! Leaning more towards diy underground vibes. For instance, the main room at the Nile or like a festival (thats not under a freeway or in someones backyard) most likely won't be considered-- but yeah, exceptions apply always. Looking for more Noise, Hip Hop, Experimental, Jazz, Punk, Hardcore, Electronic, Dj, non commercial Art and other Community based events' flyers. website is underthevalley.org ..... currently its hosting mostly hardcore, noise and experimental improv flyers-- I want it to be less monoculture tho. Send flyers to eral@duck.com Thanks yallsies!
great music — animalshin from Phoenix // was able to see them live last night at a great venue (( linger longer lounge ))

Would love to check out local doom metal bands, and bands in adjacent genres. I know Thra who are more sludge but they are awesome.

Howdy yall, I'm A.P. Rodgers. I'll be playing some traditional appalachian music and original tunes tonight at Nile Coffee Shop. Folk/punk artist Dirty Laundry will also be there performing. Show starts at 8. See yall there!
Hey everyone, my band cosmic Cornerstore, is looking to make the drive up and play sometime soon, but we don’t know any promoters, or venues in the area, and only a couple bands. Could anyone suggest who to reach out to?
Guitarist/composer here.
I just really need to jam with somebody.
I take a lot of stylistic cues from The Growlers, Beatles, ELO, Alice in Chains, Fleet Foxes, Dj Quik, Dj Premier (I'm not a rapper fyi), Grizzly Bear, and many many others. Not the greatest guitarist ever but I do have a knack for musical composition and melody.
PSYCHO has been unleashed! Our unhinged little rendition of this country classic was perhaps the most fun video to make so far. This one was filmed entirely on an old Super 8 camera by the incredibly talented Lucinda Guarderas. From the arcades of Castles n’ Coasters to the majesty of the Superstition Mountains, it serves as a sort of campy little love letter to my hometown of Phoenix, Arizona. Saddle up and give “PSYCHO” a listen wherever you stream those streams 🤠🔪🩸
Musicians ages 12-25, perform on August 31st at this new venue! Just show up to get a slot time.
