Hey y’all! Long time reader, first time poster. We own a local thrift & vintage store in Central Phoenix called King Pigeon Thrift and Vintage. We have been doing DIY in-store shows with local bands since we opened in October. We are looking for bands for April/May. Usual setup is two bands with music starting at 7pm and all ages. The room where we do it is on the smaller/medium side, so best for bands 4 people and under. Pay involved and 10% off the shop during the show. We have a room with a weird selection of guitars, basses, and pedals too, so a win win. If you’re looking for late spring/summer shows, hit us up. And if you’re a local musician, feel free to drop in any time, mention your band, and get 10% off. Welcome to comment here or check out socials to reach out.
I.e. not like locals opening for touring bands a la 13th Floor and Psyko Steve
Phoenix New Times 2019 Best Rapper
local AZ Hip-Hop collective
The winner gets to open at M3F in March which would be pretty rad! Swing by and check out some local DJs if you're in the mood to dance! Music starts at 8:30PM.
AZ’s hottest new artist. With his creative wordplay rap and lyrics and his visually appealing stage show it’s not to be missed. He has multiple genres of original music, melodic rap, vibey beats, no country. Check him out this Friday at Pour Decisions in Old Town Scottsdale, it’s Free, he’ll go on at 9pm, opening dj set before and after. @sunnyhallow_ You will be a fan after seeing this show!
Looking for any show or even better a random house show with local bands. Somewhat new to area really not sure what's out there.
Edit: Thanks everyone for giving me ideas. Always appreciated. I'm kinda broke this weekend but I'm sure I'll make it to something soon.
I fixed the how lol
You ever try to book a show in Phoenix, and the venue’s like, “Cool, but if you want to use our mic stands, that'll be an extra $500”? Like, what is this, a gig or a down payment on a car? 🤡 Outsiders think we’re the “wild west” of music, but we’re just over here surviving on tacos and DIY shows. Anyone else stuck in this loop?
"PHX musicians, we gotta talk. Why do 80% of band flyers look like someone kidnapped Comic Sans, threw it on a blurry pic of the desert, and said, 'Art'? Meanwhile, LA bands are out here with flyers that belong in the Louvre. Let’s unite as a community to fight the good fight… or at least pick a better font. Helvetica, anyone?"
Hey everyone! I'm an electronic musician here in Phoenix promoting my new project streaming on 01.01.2025.
I am also looking for other artists to work together on future releases and performances as well. IG @jadedglowtheartist
Thank you all and have a happy new year! 🥳🥂
Hey everyone! I’m in a band called Salt River Suburbia. We’re relatively new hitting our 1 year anniversary on November 2024. Since we became a band, we’ve booked 12 shows (almost 1 show a month for all of 2024).
We want to start booking to play in 2025. We already have one in January and one in February but we want more frequency than one show a month. If anyone knows how and where to get booked more or if any bands have any shows coming up and are looking for bands to open, please hmu! We could use both the help and exposure!
We’re an original indie/pop punk(ish) band.
on July 23rd 2014 ROAR played in the trunk space and there's one video of it that I've found https://youtu.be/6d3TBeFAX7g?si=_9PAjYHKouZpXm92 i was looking through a setlist and saw this show and noticed that the other song that was on there was one called "theophobia" and if you remember that song being played along with "I cant handle change" please let me know!
hey everybody. i’m a vocalist/amateur audio engineer/instrumentalist looking for people to jam with/ work in studio and just get the creative juices flowing. i have an ep and some singles out everywhere, mostly melodic trap if you want to hear them but i am looking to branch out into other genres. i love most genres and am down to try almost any. would love to exchange instagrams and chat and see if we’d vibe and maybe set up a jam! i have quite a few demos (mostly hyperpop/witch house) i could use some help on and would love to help with your work in exchange. if that’s your vibe lmk!
this is a little excerpt from the visuals I made for the first piece on the program, “Train I”.

Hi! I’m in The Hail Bop Group,a band currently traveling, and trying to book a show in Tempe at the Time Out Lounge on some Friday in January.
I’m looking for recommendations for local artists/bands who could be interested in playing with us, and I’ll put it together!
Here’s a link to our Spotify, if you wanna check us out if that helps! https://open.spotify.com/wrapped/share/share-b0d4770e7ab0441cb176586ae0543d2c?si=pbkDO9LrR0OwERovNk0BJg&artist-id=3IpoLPVu8zer8rTo8KaEE6
We’re playing as a duo and have an acoustic/singer-songwriter/Americana kinda vibe.
TSM in advance!
