Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone wanted to share something, for growing, they have been eyeing up or bought this weekend.
I have noticed amazing deals these last few days. I got an evo8 for 640 on Amazon, which I thought was a great deal. I also got 10 bricks of coco for 15$. I got some fans and other random gear.
I am running out of ideas so I thought I would give this a try.
Thanks in advance!!
I love smoking, it’s why I got into growing. But i’m at a point where I don’t care what I smoke, I just try to stick to indicas.
How do you guys make a decision on seed websites?
I absolutely don’t care as long as I get an end product that i’ll be able to enjoy
Hi everyone, I’m an indoor growing novice with a couple of seedlings whose first leaves are drooping significantly. They are 6 days from sprouting and the problem came up in the past 48 hours. Some details:
- 3 different photoperiod strains, germinated in shot glasses. One is unaffected.
- Medium: 75% Pro-Mix HP : 25% perlite, in solo cups
- 300W LED at 100%, 26” from canopy (lowered gradually to this height to combat stretch – the stretch has stopped). Plants are off-centre under one of the two panels.
- Temp: 70-75F / 55% RH
Since the leaves are drooping but the stems are upright, I’m thinking the typical newbie mistake of too much water is likely? When planting the germinated seeds, I wet the medium with tap water at 6.0 pH until water beaded but did not run when I squeezed it. Since then, I have only dampened the surface a couple of times, but they seem to be retaining significant moisture (the pots are getting lighter, but the soil still looks damp other than some drying on the surface). Root growth is good and beginning to wrap around the bottom of the cups. I’ve got a fan blowing over them now to help dry them out a little more. I won’t water until they look and feel substantially dry, but from what I understand you don’t want a soilless medium to dry out completely.
Does this look like overwatering, or could it be something else? Many thanks for any advice, and apologies for such a basic question.
Trimmed smaller stems a couple days ago turned out to be 1/2 a zip. Now on to the big colas, stems snapping but not snapping off. Excited to see total weight. Hay smell has slowly diminished, today marks day 14 of dry. Will let it cure for at least a month.
Pringle can grow . 1 month today. It’s on my porch getting average to a lil less sunlight . Started nutes last week do the plants look correct?
Hey there
My partner is diagnosed with ADHD, and does best using cannabis to manage it. However, we have noticed that some strains just do not work for him. For example, as expected, most sativas make it worse and he can’t concentrate.
We want to grow more strains that may help him, so here I am looking for some recommendations.
Indicas, hybrids with relaxing effects, and selective sativas have been okay in the past.
He likes chem, sour diesel, og kush, Girl Scout cookies, and gelatos in terms of taste and smell along with general effects.
We do have some grow experience but we aren’t experts.
I’d appreciate any recommendations!
Alrighty, got a quick question for the pros in the know.
How cold is too cold to dry fresh cut plants?
Second grow, some Terpfi3nd Ego-Death, just cut down and hung up. Temps have dropped drastically the past couple of nights in the garage. Right now I'm about 40f in my tent in my garage, but is probably going to drop the next couple of nights. I've got a small oil radiator style heater that I might be setting up, but need to rig up some duct work. She smells of burning tires so she'll be staying in the garage.
Thanks in advance.
Don Carlos, GG4, Greek Crack, Permanent Marker, BBCupcake x Gelonade.
Sprouted 8/9, flipped 10/9. Fox Farm Happy Frog, Gaia Green, Recharge.
I'm seeing people saying you should vent your grow tent 1 to 5 times a minute but I'm not sure why. plants doesn't need oxygen to live do they? if we supplement with extra co2 and airated the riot system. why do you need to vent your room to get fresh air in? is it just to get I'm more co2? so if I supplement co2 I can do without exchanging the air? in this picture/video he's talking about the essential elements of growing and I don't see where fresh air comes in.
In my never ending hunt for strains that remind me of my childhood, this particular strain has seemingly always been relatively elusive for me to get a hold of. Truth be told, it's likely long gone...but I'm on a mission regardless. While I'm okay knowing I may never find the real 90's version I'm looking for, I wouldn't be okay if I didn't do my best to find them. I've grown out Sensi's version of this strain but wasn't overly impressed so I set it down for a couple of years in favor of TW/DP/OG, etc. All the old head shit.
Lately I've been feeling it again, and I stumbled into a breeder out of VT who claimed he had gotten a hold of these beans on trade many years back. He mentioned he grew them out to F3 outdoors, and kind of just set the project aside due to popular demand of the candy/cookie varieties over the last 5 years. In his remembrance, these were the real deal which is why he's held onto them all these years, but the last time he grew these out was in 2021.
So umm...yeah, I'm the gullible idiot that said "I'll take some." In all fairness, he wasn't sure they've even sprout so he cut me a killer deal on a fat vial scoop of regs, he was real honest and up front about the story behind them, the come up, and everything else in-between. Because of this, I promised I wouldn't blow him up in the event it wasn't what I was looking for via the webernets...so here we are, in week 1 growing anonymous seeds, from an anonymous breeder. *Shrugs
Out of 8 total, we've got a 100% germination rate and they're well on their way to adulthood. Going to do a real short veg and flower out of 1g buckets, grab some clones, and go from there.
Whish me luck! We all know I'm gonna need it.
