hi guys, on some of my buds i noticed brown spots on the small stems just under the buds. some are drying and some i've just harvested. those little stems are a little brown on the inside too, if i break them apart. others, the normal stems, are green on the inside. Is that okay or is it rot? It's NOT spreading, and it's been a while. Buds look perfect. There was a weird smell when i was washing, but i'm still not sure if i was just paranoid. there is no smell with what i've just harvested. My question is, if it dries and the buds remain okay, is it okay to smoke? Will the tiny amounts of rot dry and not affect anything? Is it even rot? I didn't have time to get a better picture, other spots are usually bigger. but those who know what i'm speaking of, know. The brown parts are tiny but they are on a lot of branches. should all stems not have any brown inside?
Any tips would also be appreciated
had to do something with the backup seed I poped 🤷
Plants hung to dry 2 days ago at 60f/60h . Found 2 small spots of white fluffy mold. Ive generously removed the affected area and raised Temprature up to 62f and humidity to 55 in an attempt to stop further mold. What do you think? Any tips
At the end of our grow I found spider mites and did a bud wash that seemed to work. As I’m starting to put the buds in jars after a longer than recommended drying I found what looks like to be empty web. I want to make sure that it’s just the remanence of the spider mites, and not some fungus or something that would mean I would have to toss out all the weed or something equally horrid/distressing.
Hey guys I ordered some hydrogen peroxide 3% solution to wash the powdery mildew of my first grow.
Now that I have the bottle I noticed that it says one ingredient is 10%phosphoric acid. It is from a pharmacy and for wound cleaning.
Is it safe to use or do I need one that just contains only water and hydrogen peroxide?

I have yet to see a picture of a mainlined plant that doesn't look stunted? I guess I don't understand why this is so popular nowadays vs. More traditional methods?
Years ago I remember reading an article about running a 24/12 light cycle during flowering. The author of the article claimed that the plants adapt to the extended daylight length, just going with a full cycle being 36 hours instead of 24, and because they still receive their critical dark period flowering occura as normal just at a increased rate.
It popped into my head earlier, while wondering whether plants in general have any real concept of time. I thought of that article and thought that would answer my question. I went searching for any growers who had tried and documented this. To my surprise I couldn't find any practical experiments, just lots of discussion. I saw a few second and third hand reports of people trying 24/12 and 18/12 with success but without it being documented I question the authenticity of their claims.
Has anybody on this sub tried this or witness somebody else try it first hand? More than anything I really want to know whether or not plants have any concept of how long a day is supposed to be via some genetic component programmed into them from the start or if they just adapt to the consistency of the combined day and night length from first exposure?
I defoliated a week ago, with light getting all the way down, now small flower sites appeared, if i cut these will i get bigger main colas? Or should I just week them and have minibuds?
Hello everyone, as the title says i wanna know how much and how often i should water these plants. This is my 3rd grow ever and in this container. This is a hydroponics soilmix, contents: Regular potting soil 160L, 100% coco soil 150L, Worm castings 50L, compost 40L and 50L perlite. Also for this current grow i added 25L Batmix and 50L lightmix. All the time i just kinda watered them whenever i thought its time to like ig every 3-4 days 30L water. Idk if i should count the weight of perlite in the when measuring it but with perlite 575L without 525L
These plants are 25 days old from seed and i just flipped to flowering.
Grow stats:
plants: 6x OG kush 6x Liberty haze
Lamps:1x 450W led 1x 400W led
Nutrients: Tripart nutrients, Calmag and i PH my water to 6,2
Also some more questions. What should be the humidity in veg and flowering? and what should be the temperature be when lights on and when off?
Thats about it, im very new to this i know i prolly make a lot of mistakes🙏
If you hvae any other tips or to mention somthing please do.
