How do i make this thing smaller its so annoying

Hey everyone, I’m using an iPhone 13 that I bought in India, but I’m now living in Australia. Ever since I updated to iOS 18, the phone has been lagging quite a bit. I’ve tried changing regions and tweaking some settings, but nothing seems to help.

I’m thinking about flashing the iOS 18 firmware manually via my Mac to see if it makes a difference. Has anyone done this before? Would it actually help with the lag? Also, if I restore my backup after flashing, is there a chance the lag could come back?

Any advice or alternative fixes would be great!

Did anyone else get an alert on their iPhone just now? The emergency alert went off, but there was no message. Usually it’ll be like an amber alert or a hurricane warning or something… Anyone else experiencing this?

I was on google and a pop up appeared at the bottom that said install sync_1 or smth. I clicked show details and IT INSTALLED, what do it do??

Should I get an iphone 12 pro second hand or an Iphone 16 pro?

Iphone 12 pro is around 285 dollars secondhand but Im not sure if I should just get the latest instead. If i were to get the 13 pro and above might as well get the latest as the price jumps quite alot.

Hey everyone, I could use some advice on which iPhone to buy. I'm currently using an iPhone XS Max (64GB), and the storage is almost always full. I'm considering upgrading to the iPhone 16, but I'm torn between the 16 Pro Max and the 16 Pro.

For those who've had both or upgraded from the XS Max, is the 16 Pro Max significantly bigger? I don't mind a larger phone, but I also don't want it to feel too bulky. Or should I just go with the 16 Pro for something a bit more manageable?

My friend sold me a charger (or adapter) but I have noticed that the serial code printed on the box does not match the one on the adapter, in addition to the fact that the box says made in China but the adapter mentions made in India. Who sold it to me is a colleague and firmly assures that it is original and is the original box. What do you think?

I can’t send or receive anything can someone please give some advice or information with this ? I can’t do anything and haven’t seemed to send anything in the past couple of days.

Been running it caseless since I got it at launch, it took some tumbles and managed to stay strong. I forgot it in my bathing suit pocket yesterday and then spent 15 minutes in a hot tub, and then 2 minutes in a cold pool. When I realized my mistake I got out of the pool. The screen was glitching and I thought turning the phone off and letting it dry might be ok. Sadly, it's toast.

I was planning on upgrading during the next cycle, but I just preordered the 16 pro. At the price, I think I might have to go back to a case. Last time I had a case was the 5S and I stopped using it because the case I had did weird things to my phone. Does anyone have any recommended phone cases I should look at? (I have an otterbox for my iPad, but the phone versions seem way too bulky).

Is there a piece of software that can be used to make your location different than where it actually is?

In otherwords you share a false location with family members (or other people with whom you may have location sharing), while you're in a different area?

For example: If I'm going to Tijuana for a bachelor party and I don't want my rather nosy family knowing my whereabouts (my fox news-watching father once threatened to disown/disavow me if I ever visited Mexico), is there any way to make it so that my location marker is in san diego?

Updated to iOS 8 recently, and I feel like my 15 Pro is noticeably warmer? Not like overheating levels of warm, but noticeable in my hand.

I have watched a ton of tutorials on how to add but still it does not work.

Every now and then when making calls my phone would make it sound almost like it was, and I can’t really explain it better, sound like it was in a bag of chips or something. It happens immediately when the line starts ringing and if someone answers it keeps up. It’s almost like a muffled sound. It doesn’t matter if the sound is through the regular earpiece or the speaker. It’s not a physical block of the speaker because if I hang up and immediately call back it’ll be perfectly normal.

Lately it has done it far more often. In the last 30 calls it’s probably done it close to 10 times. It used to be maybe 1 in a 100. What could this be? I’ve tried restarting my phone and it’s done this for awhile but lately seems to be happening more. I’m currently on iOS 17.6.1 and automatic updates set to on. I don’t think it’s updated recently to have a causation to this.

I wish I could describe it better or have a recording of it to explain it. Does anyone even know what I’m talking about? I would appreciate any help.
