My brother passed away a few years ago. I came across his iphone 4 today. I want to transfer all of the data to my PC because there's some photo/video memories of his I would like to keep and cherish but nothing is working.

Bluetooth, data cable and email, nothing are working. I have no idea how else I can transfer the data.

It looks like he does have an icloud account but I don't have the password to let me log in to it.

Any ideas on how else I can navigate this?

I'm trying to help a family member with a call issue on iPhone.

During calls, the screen will either freeze up or want to stay off, making it difficult to end the call.

I noticed that whenever a call is made, received, and answered, the blue buttons appear at the bottom of the call screen, seemingly underneath the normal call buttons. My theory is this they have something to do with the call screen being unresponsive.

Unfortunately, I can't press these buttons to see what they do or what function they serve. I've looked through settings, accessibility, and uninstalled almost all third-party apps, but for the life of me I can't figure out where these buttons come from.

Any ideas?

My Apple Watch is still receiving notifications during sleep focus, which wakes me up. My screen appears to be in sleep focus on my watch and iPhone but I’m still getting messenger and instagram and other notifications all night. I have my settings set for only a select few contacts (for calling or texting). Never for any other apps. Not for messenger. Not for instagram. Notifications to watch are mirrored. I haven’t changed any settings. I’ve had no issues for years, but now suddenly, there is an issue.

When I go to sleep focus settings where it says allow notifications from- I have no apps listed Under options I have no toggles on Under the people section I have 6 contacts listed- none are those who are contacting me via messenger or instagram. Also, I’ve randomly had “stand” notifications at 10 to the hour in the middle of the night during sleep focus too. Can I just get some sleep?

Please help or tell me this is a bug that can be fixed! I have a friend who lives across the world and texts me at like 2am my time quite often and it wakes me up.

Yes I did google. Yes I checked the apple community and posted. No answers. I have not changed any settings. The only thing I’ve tried is setting downtime and actually that had even more notifications coming through randomly! So I turned it back off.

I've recently been having issues with scrolling being odd, sometimes randomly stopping and turning into random taps.

I've also experienced taps appearing in the complete opposite side of the screen to where I actually tap it.

Oddly enough when I take off the MagSafe case everything resolves itself and everything works again.

I've literally been sitting the past 15 minutes taking the case off and on again repeatedly to make sure that's what it is and I can't come to any other conclusion.

Anyone else experienced something similar?

At what point is this not just a ridiculous joke.

I have 1400 photos, I'd like to organize them into albums. Problem is I don't know what's in an album and what isnt.
Even if I start now, it's way way way easier if the photos are removed from "recents" or if I can just view what's not organized as I'm going along.

So i sent a voice memo to a group chat and all of a sudden the other three people in the group chat said that they can’t access the chat anymore and it completely froze their phones and they can’t access the chat at all and some can’t even leave the chat or exit out despite restarting their phones. It wasn’t a long voice memo, it was maybe a minute long. My chat is working completely fine. Has this happened to anyone else before?

Uh so yeah basically at my work our docking stations for laptops and such use USBC and charge insanely fast. Only issue is it’ll display the iPhone onto like 3 different monitors and I haven’t figured out if theres a way to make it not display like that

Is there any case that the location on Find my iphone somehow is incorrect?

I lost my iphone 13 pro 3 months ago and I saw its location from Find my iphone, I called the place but the person refused it (of course but I never know if they actually have my phone). When I lost my phone, I did contact the police and provided them the tracking location but they didn’t help. I know it’s the dead end but somehow I still hope to find it back :(

Hey iPhone users! Where's the best place to order a refurbished iPhone 13 mini? Sadly mine recently got destroyed in an accident. I ordered one from Gazelle, which is where I got my last one, but the battery life was only 82%. Is there somewhere better that's guaranteed to have better battery life? Or should I just try to get the battery replaced somewhere? It would be awesome to find one that still has Apple Care if possible.

All that said, is it even worth it to get a Mini again considering it's outdated/doesn't seem to be very compatible with the latest iOS update?

Recently I’ve upgraded to 16 pro max. Phone’s smooth ,everything’s fine. Just sometimes when my phone is in my pocket or kept upside down it wont wake up if call comes. During the whole call no matter how much i tap my screen or press the power button it wont wake up the display. But i can hear the display locking or unlocking. Any of you faced the same problem or got any solutions?
