I want to reset my school iPad due to personal reasons. Will the managed apps and managed school WiFi credentials still remain?
I went outside the city for a week…i switched the ipad off at 57%…I comeback after a week and it gained 1% battery lol
I have been looking for something like this: https://www.amazon.com/NIDOO-Shoulder-Carrying-Surface-Messenger/dp/B0C23VY4R8/ I want to fit my iPad into a bag that's a personal item for flights so I can put my phone and accessories all in there and don't have to leave my big backpack under the seat.
Anyone has good recs for bags like this one that you liked? Thanks.
My work requires me to use a PC. My last monitor gave out a little while ago. If I buy an IPad will I be able to use it as a second monitor for the Pc? I’m not particularly tech savvy, the videos that I’ve seen so far seem to need a workaround. Is that still the case?
Thanks in advance for the help
hi! i currently own an ipad 7th gen that i’ve had since 2020, it works amazing but the battery is insanely bad (100% to 50% in 1 hour). I was thinking about getting a new ipad air when they supposedly come out in may, or getting the battery of my current ipad replaced. what would be your best advise on this? i’m a student so most of the times i use my ipad for note taking, but i don’t use it that often because i only have 32gb of storage which doesn’t allow me to download heavy apps and games. but, my ipad is in pretty great condition and works smoothly, the only downside is the battery and it heats up super fast.

I see on amazon the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen is on sale for 39% off, for $79. I'm currently waiting on the event on Tuesday to purchase an Air 5, but I was wondering if the pen is something I should just buy now since I know I'm going to get the Air 5 if it goes down in price. Not sure if a new Apple Pencil is expected though
Hi, I'm an amateur recreational drone pilot and I've been using my son's small iPhone with a cracked screen and using the Dji Go 4 app to fly my Mavic 2 Pro drone with. It's hard to see the screen so my plan is to buy a 4-5yo iPad which was used 4-5 years ago when this drone was new and using the Dji Go 4 app. Can I still use this older iPad? Because I cannot afford a new iPad. And the iPad 8-9 gen are within in my eBay budget. Thanks.
I have a 10th generation iPad that for some reason when I use FaceTime, the other person can’t hear anything I say and if they do it sounds like I am in another room. It picks up the noise from tapping on the screen perfectly fine.
I’ve updated the iPad to the newest iPadOS (17.4.1), restarted the iPad multiple times, and even completely deleted the FaceTime app and redownloaded, logged in, and still same issue. I’ve always switched mic settings between standard, voice isolation, and wide spectrum.
I can’t remember when I first noticed it but FaceTime used to work perfectly fine. Recording on a normal video still works fine so it’s not the mic or protective case. I do have apple care so my next option was to take it in, but just wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem and maybe I can fix it myself and save a trip to the mall.
Hi All,
Been going around online looking but thought I’d try and get some other people’s thoughts.
I’ve never had an iPad before and wanted one for a while, use case would mostly be TV/Videos, reading, replacement of iPhone when at home, PS5 remote play, travel etc. I was also thinking of grabbing a Logitech combo keyboard so I can use it as a laptop (basic word processing, signing documents, holiday planning) when needed.
From everything I’ve seen, the 10 would do exactly that, my main gripe would be that I don’t seem to be able to connect a 10 to an external display.
I guess I believe that a 10 would do everything I need, but there’s the materialistic part of me that is saying “go on, shell out the extra cash and get an air 5th Gen”, so I’m coming here for someone to tell me that I’m stupid and the 10 would be absolutely fine for what I need.
Thanks in advance!
If an employee doesn’t complete their contract with my husbands company they have to return their iPad to us. So over 12 years we have accumulated a handful of iPads. Now that I have kids I want to use these old iPads for them but my husband didn’t freaking have the people sign out of their iCloud’s! 🤦🏼♀️is there any way around this? We have had hundreds of employees so there is no way to even begin to figure out who used this iPad.
Please help me. I am really confused. I have an iPad Air 4 and would like to buy an apple pencil with pressure sensitivity. What pencil should I buy?
Hi, I’m looking for some of the best accessories and iPad app recommendations for productivity.
I manage product design so I’m always in meetings (remote half of the time) and I often use my whiteboard and paper notebook to take notes, draw concepts and map out new product ideas.
I’ll be using Notion to manage projects and tasks. But I would love recommendations for best apps for my Apple Pencil, taking notes in ad gov meetings, and conceptualizing new ideas. Oh yeah, on my Mac, I’m often in Figma reviewing designs, and I still write code every now and then build out some of my ideas.
I’d love to hear what you use most and can’t live without. I appreciate it, and thank you!
hi i am ipad 9 user and i accidentally bought magic keybord folio for ipad 10 i wonder if they would be compatible?
I’m planning to buy an iPad from Amazon. Will the product be reliable?
Basically the title. I've had this Ipad 10th gen for ~8 months now. I own two apple pencils (one was gifted so - so it is unused) and another that is also as old as the iPad. Randomly the apple pencil will stop working but remain connected, it will only continue to work if I replug it into the iPad (which is INCREDIBLY ANNOYING because of the usb-c charging port, but the lightning apple pencil meaning EVERY time I need to grab a wire and a dongle). At first I thought it was just the apple pencil (dying batter, lose nib, it's been dropped a few times so who knows) and when I started using my unused apple pencil same thing - randomly stops working but remains connected so I'm starting to think this is an issue with my ipad. Anyone else go through an issue like this??
I've tried a lot of the normal things, shutting down, forgetting device, bluetooth on and off, etc.
Thanks!
What can I do to fix this?
Is paper screen protector really necessary or just regular screen protector work fine with apple pencil?
I can't figure out what the problem is. Whenever I connect my iPad to an external display the displays framerate is nearly half of the actual iPad. At first I was using a USB C dock, now I'm just usinng a USB C to C cable into a thunderbolt monitor and there's still excessive lag and input delay. Tried on 3 TV's and 2 gaming monitors and nothing works so I know this has to be an issue with the iPad itself. So is there any way to change the external display settings? Like changing the refresh rate or anything? I just want to use my iPad as a console.
If a straight up C to C cable doesn't work than I don't think buying the official Apple USB to HDMI adapter will make any difference
What would be a good case for my iPad Air 5th gen that offers good protection and the ability to store my apple pencil 2nd gen and be able to charge it without having to take the case off
im buying a secondhand ipad off of marketplace that comes brand new and sealed. i checked the serial number on the back of the box he had on his listing and this is what it showed me. does this guarantee it’s authentic? any and all help is appreciated
I played an mp4 video on my iPad and the sound keep going on and off I tried playing the same video on my iPhone and there’s no problem with it anyone know why?
When I try to click stuff specifically in the YouTube video player (pause button, settings icon, try to make video small or full screen, x button to leave comments) it doesn’t work the majority of the time. For example, the pause will turn grey like it does when you press it, but the video will not be paused. The keyboard seems to work fine everywhere else. Sometimes the cursor doesn’t show up but I just disconnect iPad and reconnect to fix it. I have the 12.9 inch iPad Pro. I’ve had it since September 2023 and have always had this problem. Anyone else experienced it and know a fix?
Wanting an iPad for the art aspect of being able to draw directly on the screen, and also looking to use it to make videos/small movies and such. Is it possible to do so with say a hard drive, sim card, or usb while using a 64 or 128 GB iPad?
Budget is on the lower end, so it would be really helpful if I could actually swing this
I broke my iPad in a total freak accident a couple days ago. I took it to an Apple authorized dealer they said that I could just get a new one for $579 through Apple. (I didn’t buy AppleCare) or replace the screen via 3rd party for $329. The iPad doesn’t turn on but I think it’s the screen that’s just so broken it doesn’t work. The problem with the 3rd party is that it doesn’t work with Apple Pencil correctly. Which I do use. The iPad has more or less just has been a money pit for me and I don’t really have the funds for the 3rd party let alone the full replacement. What should I do?
Edit: My bad, it was M2, not M3 on title
Considering Pro models, I’m not convinced I’m gonna have a significant different experience on a M2 chip vs M1. Heck, I could even tell M1 isn’t being used to its maximum potential until this very day. On the other hand, battery life increment doesn’t seem to be a jump between chips. Is there anyone who can prove me wrong? I appreciate it.
So i bought a second hand ipad(financial reasons) with an apple pencil for drawing but the display has little scratches that(?) dont allow me to do anything with the pencil. However it doesnt bother me to do anything with my fingers. Ive tried everything and i think the problem comes from the display itself. Hopefully i can find another solution, so please tell me your opinion on this!
Really the only reason why I haven't bought the air 5.
Brand new. Will be used for school (taking notes) light gaming (brawl stars and genshin) and for YouTube/Netflix. It’s on sale everywhere for 400€. A brand new air 5 costs 620-650€ new. What do you guys say?
