Hello. I’m trying to work on a video i have saved onto an SD card. i’m wondering if i were to disconnect the reader and then reconnect the reader to the iPad, would there be any issues? Or if i reconnect the card would it continue to read the files?

For the people who use their iPads for note taking in school. What screen protector do you use? Do you use a regular one or the paper like one? If so what’s the name of the one you use

Has anyone here have tried Lok Board (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/lok-board/id1621242252). This apps allows desktop experience especially for web applications but you have to pay $19.99 to unlock restrictions. Seems the best solution/workaround so far except that it is limited to web apps and Google Sheet still faces some rendering issue just like on safari since it is running on the same iPadOS web-kit engine.

Would like to hear how other feels about this app and if paying the worths it.

I have a M2 pro 11 inch, 128gb - openbox 0 charge cycle, apple care till September 2025 for 680$ Is this a good deal ? Or should i try for the m4 ?

So yesterday i notice my iPad screen is weird, when I touch it lightly to scroll Reddit there were a blue finger-tip-sized dot appeared in the area near the screen that I touch it. It even appeared when the back of iPad got light pressure.

I am still in one year limited warranty, is it possible to get a new iPad replacement?

I had 4%, I plugged it in. The lamp light next to me flickered slightly. Then my iPad doesn’t turn on even after leaving it charging. Is it possible that it could’ve shorted out internally somehow after plugging it in? If so does apple warranty even cover that? I’ve had it for 2 years.

Finally getting around to switching my mom over to my dad’s iPad Pro (her old faithful gen 2 is dying). He passed earlier this year and I am just now pulling it out to get it ready for momma and there’s a crack. It’s tiny. The size of an eyelash, mid screen. Kinda like a chip in a windshield. Any suggestions on a stop-gap so my mom can use his without it shattering on her and without replacing the screen?

One of my friends has offered to trade me an iPad Pro 2nd gen for my iPad air 4th gen, is this a good trade? What are the downsides and upsides?

So I recently broke my MacBook, and I can’t buy another one for a while. I used to use Final Cut Pro when I had it, and so I decided to get an iPad and just edit on there for now but I found that the iPad I got isn’t even compatible. 😒 So If anyone could help me out? I really need to keep practicing my editing skills as I want to start a channel soon, and I began on fcp but now I need a diff app. Anyone know any that are similar/practically the same?

Does the new ipad pro 2024 have motion blur/ glow kind of effect when scrolling?

I own ipad pro 2019 version and when I'm reading manga or scrolling through webpages there's usually some weird motion blur / ghostly glow effect happening.

What I've heard it's a normal thing but I find it quite annoying as I'm quite sensitive for such things. So I was thinking if this is still normal on new version of the ipads

So i wanted to ask if the IPad air 4th gen is any different then the 5th gen. I originally wanted the 5th generation but my mom is saying to get the 4th gen bc it’s cheaper. So i’m getting the 4th gen since my birthday money only covers that much. Will i be missing on a whole lot or just a little bit, and how long will the 4th gen last??

(Also i would like to add: i’ve had an IPad 8th before this and i’m getting a new one bc my 8th bended and it barely works. Also what i would like to mainly do is watch videos and take notes, it would be GREAT if i could play games on it but it’s not a necessity, and i’m getting one that has 256gb :> )

Hi all, one of the themes I set for my 2022 iPad Air was the exclusive curvy drawings one. After updating to iPadOS 18 I accidentally removed that Focus setting and couldn’t find that theme anymore. Is there a way to get it back?

Can I use the pass-through charging functionality of my iPad Pro to re-charge my PS5 DualSense controller (when playing my PS5 remotely)? That’s how I charge my Apple Watch; from the iPad USB-C while the iPad is “docked” and mag-charging on the Magic Keyboard. I’d obviously be going from USB-C to USB-C. Or do I need a dongle? Anything to worry about?

Hi! I have an iPad 10 with a Magic Keyboard Folio, and one thing that concerns me is that when I leave the keyboard behind, the screen is left unprotected. I’m looking for a front case similar to the back cover, so I can just add it when I'm not taking the keyboard. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!

I want to get an iPad for my school and homework, I’m going to game development and design but at the moment nothing that should be too intense for the iPad to handle.

He already tried calling the company and they said they couldn’t do anything because he isn’t an employee and apple couldn’t help because of a security thing (I didn’t go with him so im just getting the paraphrasing from my sister). How do we sign out so he can add his own?

iPad Pro 4th gen 12.9 inch. Will this crack spread? Is it worth getting it repaired? Or can I just throw a screen protector on it? Thanks

Hello guys I am thinking about getting an iPad pro instead of macbook for the next years. I find it quite useful for me, as a student who actually use mac as my notebook for taking notes and other school stuff. Also, I like using big screen, so as I come home, I join my macbook to monitor and using it like a PC. However, I am not sure how good this would work on an ipad. I found some videos about it on youtube but I did not get nearly any informations from that. Also, I wonder if magic mouse works with iPad the same way as on mac. I also have no idea how limiting is iPados in comparision with macos. Thanks for sharing your thoughts or experiencies.

I have just upgraded from iPad 10 to iPad Air M2 and I have noticed an issue with swipe up gesture. When my iPad is inserted into a silicon case, sometimes it does not respond to the swipe up gesture with my finger. However, it seems to work perfectly fine when it is not in the silicon case or when I have it in my hands. The swipe up gesture works ok on my iPad 10 so I am surprised this is an issue with my M2 Air. Has anyone experienced similar issue and has a solution for it?

I am trying to get an iPad that is going to suit me for working in Photoshop, Canva and using Pinterest, for creating Social Media posts but also for movie watching and general browsing. I’ve never had an iPad in my life, so I don’t know about their specs and technical capabilities. Do you think Apple iPad Air 6th Gen 11" M2 will be enough or an overkill? What is the fair price for a new & for a used one? I am residing in Europe.

My spouse is in a grad program and I would like to surprise her with an iPad but don’t have her student ID in hand.

Back in 2022 I lended my brother my iPad pro 2015 but kept my iCloud in there as well as my code. Fast forward to today, my brother has not been using it anymore so I asked for it back but they changed the code and can't remember what the code is. Is there any way through this? MacOS and iPadOS are almost not visible. The entire Text and Icons are so small eldery people wont be able to work on them because they can barely see what they click on. If you go to Tv App for example , and download a Season, the download ring is barely visible because it’s just 4x4 Pixels!!! The entire Operating system is designed like this! Settings App 2 big bezels on both sides!!!
