should i get an ipad 10th gen or iphone 13? i currently use iphone 8+ and it has cracked screen and sometimes when it gets drained it doesn't turn on immediately. but, if i buy an ipad, i can use it for studying and taking notes especially because i don't own a laptop or computer. i'll make great use of it since i'm going to college next year
J’ai actuellement un iPad 9 depuis son lancement avec ios 15 et je l’ai mis à jour sur ios 16,17 et 18 et je me demande combien de temps il sera pris en charge
Hey so Ive just purchased my first iPad, an iPad Pro m4 13 inch, 512gb. I’m super excited, please let me know any recommendations or tips you have for a new iPad owner, whether it’s accessories or apps or anything! Thank you
I'm a student hoping to buy an ipad solely for taking notes. Size-wise I prefer the iPad air but I noticed the price is much more for the current version so I'm also open to the 10.9" current version iPad.
For those with experience, is it worth it to get the most recent version of either iPad? Or is there an older version that is nearly similar functionality wise? The main thing I'm looking for is just good compatibility with the apple pencil or a stylus in general.
Also - is the apple pencil really worth the price? Thanks for all the help.
I'm getting an iPad 10Gen and I have a question. What is the proper way to first use your iPad? Should you put it straight onto the changer or should you turn it on and wait for it to die and then fully charge it? Or does it even matter?
Can anyone tell me firsthand if the Magic Keyboard I purchased four years ago for iPad Air 4th Generation is compatible with the latest iPad Air M2, as long as both are 11 inch? I keep reading conflicting information. . Thanks!
So apple rates newer ipads for about 1000 cycles for 80 percent battery health. What I don't get is what is so bad about 80 percent battery health? I mean if you get 10 hours of battery life on 100 percent then on 80 percent you should get about 8 correct? That seems pretty reasonable to me. also is battery health a significant issue when tackling the long term health of an ipad (5+ years). Those of you with older ipads how is your battery doing and do you feel it restricts you in any meaningful way?
And cheapest 🤔
Hi,
I'm considering buying an iPad Pro M4 and I'm not sure which size to get between 256 and 512GB. I'm seeing online that the 512GB storage performs better on disk benchmarks (even better than the 1TB version actually). Now I'm wondering how iPadOS takes advantage of this extra speed, more particularly if, similarly to MacOS, it makes use of it when running out of RAM.
Thanks
Started occurring today. Keyboard works well for editing regular cells. Problem appears to be only with text boxes.
So I have this old iPad since I was like 11 and recently decided to charge it and use it as an ebook reader. The thing is I would like to factory reset it but it has a pass code on the restrictions setting that I don’t remember and I don’t even have any computer where it is sync to due to years passing and changing my laptop. So is there any way I can factory reset it?
The title. If I am unclear, I'd be happy to attempt to explain my train of thought.
Curious to see how the iPad Minis look with different colour cases. Specifically looking at the new 7th gens but if you have Space Gray or Starlight in the 6, go ahead!
Struggling to gauge the differences online and my local stores don't have the new iPad minis out on display! Would love to see them side by side if possible. Thanks!
So my mom sat on my ipad pro 2024 and she bent it and dented it slightly as it pushed against something hard, I took it to apple they said it was £79 to replace with apple care, When i took it home the screen died on me probably cause of the bend, So will they increase the charge or keep it the same? I called apple asking this they said it would stay the same but i dont quite believe them.. they can be scummy sometimes.
Wie kann man Dateien ( Bilder , Texte u.ä. ) vom Mac Mini zum Ipad 10.9 , ich kriege es einfach nicht hin . Wäre für nützliche Tips sehr dankbar Vielen Dank vorab
Yesterday I got the 18.1.1 ios on my iPad Air 4. Now the battery isn‘t going over 36% anymore, as you can see, i had it charged the whole day. I even tried different cables and bricks also the charger of my MSI Claw. Nothing helps. Its not dirty and restarting dont work as well. I dont know what to do anymore. Battery life is at 87%. I hope someone can help or maybe some has discovered the same problem?
About to upgrade my very old iPad Air three, I need to do basic 4k video editing on a regular basis, am I OK with the new redesigned iPad Air? Or should I go with an older Pro model?
I plan to use the new Final Cut software, I shot a bunch of footage using my iPhone 6 and Adobe. Premiere Rush cannot handle it and/or does not recognize the footage
I have to take a lot of notes for work, it’s the only way I can retain information. I’m trying to get more time efficient, instead of writing and then having to type up my notes after I was looking at a device that would allow me to write notes and transcribe it to text.
Meaning post meetings, I can just copy and paste my notes for our internal tracking system.
I’ve looked at both the remarkable and the iPad and can see pros and cons of both.
What would you recommend? And what would be easier to copy and paste notes taken to out internal CRM?
Both are the same price on amazon and I'm gonna get one for Christmas. I really only want to use it for taking notes for college classes and maybe watching YouTube. I want the pro specifically for the better screen and better pencil (2nd gen with the automatic charging when attached). But I'm wondering if the iPad 10 will have better life support with iOS updates. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
I lost my iPad at the CLT airport (Charlotte International) I’m afraid somebody might’ve stolen it. I already put the iPad in lost mode, but is there anyway that someone could wipe it still and use it for themself? It must’ve died because Find my stopped updating 2 days ago saying it was at the airport still. Am I totally screwed here?
I have upgraded to the 2024 Apple Air M2 13”. I am using it with an Apple Magic Keyboard, which is great. I use this setup on a desk, in a chair, in bed, etc., all the places you might work or stream a movie. However, I wish to put the iPad in an Apple Magic Keyboard COMPATIBLE case - with the pass through charging. This protective case will add some protection to the iPad in the event of falls, slips from lap (“lapable”) etc.. It should have a tilt angle back available when not on the keyboard and of course utilize the pass through charging when using the keyboard. Any iPad Pro M4 case will not work on the Air model as the cut outs are slightly different.
I have only found a few of these Apple Magic Keyboard compatible cases for the 2024 Air 13” M2 and I have no idea which is higher quality than the another and most importantly which offers the best fall protection.
Anyone with experienced with this? Any suggestions? Thank you.
I have tried so many cases I am completely frustrated. So still on the hunt for a case for my iPad Air 11 (M2). My requirements are as such:
I am currently using a Speck but it does not rotate. I've tried the ESR magnetic case but the iPad falls when in portrait mode. I've tried a Targus THZ93507 but there is a rubber barrier between the pencil and the iPad so not confident the pencil will stay charged. I've tried the Fintie Rotating Case but found it think and bulky.
I've been all over the Targus web site (they only have two options one which I have tried, other is too bulky). I've been to the Speck web site and they do not have a rotating case.
HELP!
Hi, so I am going to buy a new iPad and I need your advice. Right now I have an iPad 9th gen (64gb) but I need a little more storage space and I wanted to upgrade: I’d use it mostly to watch videos, read, take some notes and occasionally draw on Procreate, and to play 1/2 games. I was thinking about iPad Air 11” 6th gen 128gb, but I also found iPad Air 5th gen 256gb and I don’t know if it’s better to buy the new one or the one with more gbs (the difference is 100€). Do you have any recommendation?
So I'm in the middle of something here, I want an iPad that can basically help me through college (I'm a Computer Science major) and my main usecase is to take digital notes and watch lectures, maybe storing some photos too, although I don't mind having an jCloud Subscription. I don't need it to replace my laptop, I already have a M1 MacBook Air with 16GB RAM & 256GB Storage. I was considering these three options:
-2018 iPad Pro 11" 256GB WiFi + Celular (NEW) -2020 iPad Air 4 10.9" 64GB Storage WiFi Only (NEW) -2022 iPad Air 5 10.9" M1 Chip 64GB (USED)
The iPad Pro looks tempting though, but it's old due to it being from 2018... what do you think? Would 64GB suffice in any way?
I'm currently in the market for a decent Procreate device and since I play Honkai Star Rail a ton too. I might as well get an iPad that can support both wants and needs. So, I obviously plan on getting storage over 256GB.
My price range I'm looking at is $400-$600. I mostly prefer new devices. So, any model suggestions?
Not looking for the best of the best, I just want the average model that can fulfill what I want/need.
I’m looking at getting a tablet/foldable laptop type of device for easy editing of photos and videos. Photography is my hobby and I would like to explore more into photo editing and trying videography for fun. Would an iPad be able to handle the necessary storage/files/apps needed for this? If so, could I do it for £300 or less? Any advice would be very useful, thank you! 😊
I need a new iPad and all I can afford is the 9th Gen is it still worth it in 2024/2025? And how many more major updates do you expect it to get before it becomes obsolete/vintage and doesn’t get supported by Apple and major apps?
HI,
What do you think of the Pro Case for iPad 9th gen
