I have been out of the iOS ecosystem for a while now but found my old iPad that was still on iOS 14.4. Is there a good reason to jailbreak it nowadays or should I just update the thing to iOS 17 to get the latest iOS features in here instead?

I’m basically just wondering what features introduced in iOS 15+ are worth updating for, versus what I could get out of this thing if I kept it on the version it’s on and jailbreaking it.

I am trying to remove the ads from an app called iFunny by modifying the code payload from the ipa and possibly find the code related to ads and delete them. Is it possible to do this, and if so, could someone help me achieve this?

So far, I downloaded the ipa file, unzipped it, and took the code into visual studio code and was looking to delete ad related code. I then wanted to sideload this new ipa file with altstore.

So I jailbroke my iPhone 5 running iOS 8 and now I can’t open apps or use the home screen. When I search for settings it can’t find it. Sadly I have not saved blobs. Please help

I've just erased and restored my phone (iPhone 12, 15.3.1) in order to be able to jailbreak again, and I'm getting this message while trying to log in to my virtual number on WA Business. I got the same message on regular WhatsApp when logging in with my main number, but I was able to generate the verification code and log in anyway. For some reason though with WA, I can't seem to get either a verification code sent or a phone call.

I have Watusi installed, but I've tried disabling and also uninstalling, but nothing is working. Does anyone know what I need to do to be able to use WA Business with this number again?

So i have a iPhone 5s on iOS 12.5.7 and a apple watch series 2 on watchOS 6.3.

As you see i cant pair it and it just says that i have to update my iphone to the latest iOS.

I have tried resetting the watch, charging, turning off wifi when it tries to search for a update (it gives me the same message), resetting my iphone. I have contacted apple support 2 times and they just told me that its impossible ( I know its possible but hard a bit)

I have contacted it with a iphone SE 2nd gen that has the latest ios and it worked. If i can connect it to the iPhone SE gen and then pair it with iPhone 5s maybe?

I searched the sub but found no similar posts. tweak is enabled and I am able to create albums and copy photos to albums for the photos to be viewed in other apps, but when I move a photo into the album, the photo no longer appears within other apps eg Facebook, Reddit etc.

I used PhotoManager on ios14 which did this perfectly, but I can’t seem to figure this one out. There are so few options to configure. I can’t see where I’m going wrong. Did I miss something or is this a known limitation?

Should I stay on iOS 17 for the rest of the 15 pros life to ensure fluid software even if security risks appear later on

I know this sounds terrible but what do you guys think? Experiment with not upgrading or be like 99.9% of people and do the usual yearly software upgrade.
