Yesterday while I was at work, we had an encounter with the enraged individual that was taking out a majority of his anger on me at my shop as a result. It turns out that my iPhone contacted my four people I had listed as emergency contacts. I didn’t know the phone could not only voicemail messages of the verbal outrage. This guy was inflating upon our shop as well as me telling him to get the fuck out. Has anyone else experienced this? I did not know the iPhone would call automatically because of verbal outrage

Yesterday, my partner and I were in the living room and we both heard someone’s voice emitting from iPhone. It was loud enough that it sounded like someone was in the room with us and it sounded male. All they said was “ Huh?”. My partner and I both looked at each other immediately. Now, my phones notification sounds were turned off. Haptics, everything. It’s been like this for a few days. I went to check my phone to see if it was a notification but there was nothing on my phone. Along with that my phone had been untouched for atleast an hour. It was sitting on a counter top, out of our reach and view. Can someone please explain what this was?

Hey Guys, My phone got stolen on Sunday July 7th in the morning. when I noticed it was gone I used my wife's phone to try find my phone but it just said no location available. I then got my old Iphone out and started setting that up and the next morning when I checked find my there was a location for it but it showed the phone was off. I went to the location (seedy motel) with the police and we looked around. I could not ping the phone because it was off and it gave me a blue circle that was a little smaller than the building but still a big area. in some spots of the motel though it was saying the phone was with me and the icon would follow me around and as soon as I got further away from the location it would revert back to the larger area again. I have read everywhere that you will only get a location for 24hrs after its turned off but its been more than that since they took it and I still get the location. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I feel like I recall the option when starting up my 11 PM for the first time to directly sync all data from my older iPhone to the new one. I was planning to do this with the new phone but can’t seem to find anything on google about this. Was this ever a feature or am I tripping?

Hi by boyfriends just gifted me his ‘old’ iPhone pro max 14. But the back screen was broken and I fixed it in an ‘unofficial’ store. Now the Bluetooth doesn’t work, I have tried any solution found online. Could have been the back screen fix? Or maybe it happened when the phones fall and broke in the first place? How much it will cost to fix it as a average? :(

My Snapchat keeps uninstalling multiple times a day. I have an IPhone 12. None of my other apps are doing this it’s literally only Snapchat. It’s like the 5th time it’s uninstalled today and it’s only 4 and this has been happening for about 3 days now. Please help before I throw away a my phone 💀

I’ve tried searching this in apple support but there seem to be general answers like how your apple uninstall when they aren’t being used but Snapchat is a daily app for me so I don’t know why this is happening

I looked up this problem online, and the only thing I can find is on a setting called “Attention Aware” but it’s impossible for that to be what’s happening for me because my iPhone (Se 2023) does not have Face ID/TrueDepth camera or whatever it’s called. However, I’m experiencing the same problem as someone else when they made a post on the apple forum:

I was hoping i could buy an unlocked iPhone thru Apple.com, but it appears they are all tied to one of the main 3 carriers. I use Mint Mobile, and would love to finance it from Apple if possible, even trading in a Pixel 7 Pro if possible during the process.

Best option if not wanting to use the big 3 carriers?

I've decided to get an Ipad and since my Android phone is 4 years old, I thought it might be a good opportunity to make the switch to Iphone.

I'm not here to criticize the Iphone, I just don't understand, for example, why it took them so long to let users customize app placement on their own home screens . People even created widgets to mimic Android home screen set ups.

There are other Android features Iphone would benefit from having (like an improved keyboard with numbers row and clipboard history, an universal back gesture, custom ringtones, more customization etc.)

I couldn't care less about AI when basic things are missing.

I’m soon to leave the country and got an eSIM purely to be able to text using IMessage even when I don’t have a wifi connection. Because of this, I didn’t get a lot of data, because I know IMessage does not consume a lot, but I wanted to know how to turn off every single app, service, or possible thing that could use up data, so that the ONLY thing my data is allocated to is IMessage and I don’t burn it while my phone is off with a random background thing somewhere. Hello, this has been happening to me for a full week now. Basically I’ll be playing a game or just watching a video and all of a sudden I hear a notification sound. I check the Notification Center but there’s nothing there. And sometimes the sound happens 3-4 times in a row. In settings under notifications, I have all of my alerts set to Lock Screen, Notification Center, and Banners all three of those are on. The only thing that could be it, is that I have 1 page of my most used apps on my Home Screen, the rest of the apps that I barely use are in the App Library. Could this be why? And I have an iPhone 15 currently on iOS 17.5.1
