So one of the perk of prime membership is i can store unlimited photos and upto 5Gb of videos on the amazon photos app. The question is, is it safe and secure?

I've been noticing certain appointments disappearing after I've saved them.

And some recurring ones I've set up disappeared as well.

I'm concerned that I might have spyware on my phone (not jailbroken) and am considering a factory reset. If I create a back-up of my phone is it possible to get everything back or will that back-up also probably include the spyware? Any help would be appreciated!

I got the purple silicon case straight from T-Mobile upon purchase of the iPhone 14. I am still making a few dollar payments on it each month to pay it off so would rather not have to replace it so soon. It's been maybe four months since I got it and now the edges look really bad, like they are permanently dirty or something. Like the scuff marks you see on floors in school but at least those are easily removable. Is there any way to remove this discoloring? Only tried cleaning it with a disinfectant wipe but the darkened edges don't budge. It is discolored around the square camera shaped edges too.

I’m planning to create a new iCloud account, I don’t want to just simply change the region because it’s my main and only iCloud i have and i have data on it and don’t worry—it’s not for my main iPhone. so I’ll be using an iPhone 7 Plus or 11 for this instead. The goal is to pick a region where subscription prices for things like Snapchat+, Duolingo, and even apps like X are cheaper.

I also need the region to have gift cards that I can easily buy online since that’s probably the only way I’ll be able to pay for the subscriptions.

Anyone here know which region has the cheapest prices right now? If you’ve tried this before, I’d love to hear how it worked out for you!

So my question is if my phone does not have a cell service plan, can I still connect to someone else’s hotspot?

I had the Peak Design for my Pro Max 13, but frankly, I hated it. Loved the concept, but the execution was very poor. I use my phone on the stair master or when moving around people, and don't want to drop it. I've used "Pop Sockets", but they weren't for me.

I'd be open to other Mag Safe accessories potentially, but I love the idea of a case that has that functionality built in.

The phone that im using right now is mine given down from my grandma and i need help figuring out how to turn off stolen device protection, or resetting it and also keeping my data in my phone. (A lil additive the face id on this thing is messed up so i need help with that too)

I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max. It’s running iOS 18.1.1. I won’t mention my wireless provider.

Since 11/19/2024, my iPhone’s been using cellular data even though I turn it off when I’m at home and connected to Wi-Fi. I’ve got Wi-Fi assist turned off as well. I reset my network settings and my device during 11/20/2024 and both didn’t work. I turned off Wi-Fi assist again.

It’s hard to tell if it’s a problem with Apple with their iOS or a network problem with my wireless provider.

Should I report my problems to Apple, my wireless provider, or both of them?

Has anyone else had similar problems since iOS 18?

I appreciate any tips and advice.

Ok everyone I’m waving the white flag here and I am going to ask😂

To give a little background I am a truck driver and I use a Blue Parrot B450-XT headset with my phone so I can be 100% hands free while I’m driving. I recently upgraded my iPhone 12 Pro Max to a 16 Pro Max. I have the parrot button on my headset to active Siri so I can send messages, make calls etc etc without having to pick up my phone. Once I made the upgrade I noticed any time I used Siri to call someone I would almost always get the “You need to unlock your phone” message. Eventually I realized that it only works now with contacts in my favorites but I have to unlock my phone for anyone else. Having to pick up my phone and unlock it while I’m driving defeats the purpose of being hands free.

Now I’ve scoured the internet and most of what I was able to find was to go to settings/siri and search then activate allow Siri when locked which I have on but I can not for the life of me find anything that will show me to change which contacts this will work from favorites to contacts. I am sure I’m missing something obvious or maybe it’s possible that you are unable to change this. Also I did the upgrade to 18.1 which is probably an important thing to mention. Any help or insight into this will be very appreciated as I’ve been driving myself crazy over a feature that used to work and has changed. Thank you in advance!!!

Thinking about upgrading to the 15 or 16 pro/promax version for the ProRaw functionality. I already have a base 15 model that captures fantastic photographs from a 48mp camera, but could someone share a few ProRaw vs Jpeg images from a 48mp camera so I can see if there are major improvements over each format so I can make a decision?

So, I’m not going to say what app it was, but when I used the new feature to require to use Touch ID to open, I pressed the hide one, and when I did that, for some reason, I couldn’t find it, not the search bar when you swipe up on the home menu, not the spotlight thing when you swipe all the way to the right, I could only find it in the iPhone storage, and I can’t even uninstall it! All I can do is offload it PLEASE HELP ME!

Hello, I have an iPhone 11 that I have been using for the last 4 years. It's in great condition physically (always case on and everything) and the BH is great too. I want to use this as a time capsule, storing the photos and files from now, and tuck the phone away in a box, not to be opened in 20 years. Any suggestions on the best way of doing that?

Help! I went into at &t to add a new line. I took an old I phone with me to add the new line too. The rep told me my SIM card was old and put in a new one. Ok, great. Well I left the store and later realized I didn’t get my old SIM card back. I went back to the store and the guy said he threw it away and pulled a sim out of the trash. He said this has to be yours. How can I confirm that the sim is in fact my old sim? I’ve read that identity theft is easy if someone gets ahold of an old sim? I’m kind of freaking out.

Can anyone tell me what info can be accessed on my old sim?

How can I check that this sim is in fact my old sim so I can shred it? Is it as easy as having the store pull the new sim out and put the old one in to see what number is connected to the sim?

Okay, so I was trying to repair my back glass on the iPhone 14 Pro and was applying heat with a heat gun and scraping the glass off. It started smoking. I think it's because I ended up plugging it into the wall and forgot it was plugged in. I put the scalping tool to the back of the phone, and then it started smoking. Now the phone only shows the Apple logo when I try to boot it up, but then it never turns on. What could the issue be?

It‘s friday, it‘s 6:30 in the morning and the radio turns on for about 30 seconds. Then it turns off. What could I have done that this happens? As far as I know there is no stock Radio alarm. I‘m puzzled, do you have any leads?

I haven't heard from a friend of mine for a few days. When I called her earlier, the call was silent, followed by a dial tone, and then an automated voice message played saying, "Your call cannot be completed at this time in the country you are calling. Please try again later. 0983." At first I was really worried and scared that something might have happened to her. My husband called from his phone and got the same response. I decided to call using Google Voice, just to see if I got the same message, but it rang, as normal, and went to her normal voicemail.

My question is, can you block someone or make a setting so that certain numbers receive a particular voicemail/calls don't go through?
