Would racing petals work as the planes brake In MSFS?
So this happened to me multiple times randomly when I just hit reset camera button on the ground whether taxiing or at the gate and I’m suddenly 1000ft in the air flying normally? It’s so weird cuz I checked the mapping and there’s nothing different with it. Is there a specific button or combination that does this?
I get very low performance on 3rd party airports, EDDF for example with Fenix, but other 3rd party airport is nearly the same "experience". Even on 2K with just high settings so no 'ultra', frame gen on, RT shadows off. Traffic, etc. are completely disabled. TLOD max 150 (I tried with 100 as well), OLOD at 100. It's stutters like hell and my fps is constantly dropping as I try to turn around my camera.
So my question is for those who able to run this same in the terms of 'playable' what PC you have or which addons/settings are you use ingame? Lossless scaling, autofps etc?
My specs are I7 13700 4070 32GB DDR5 Dedicated M.2 just for MSFS.
DLSS is a total no go for me, I can't stand the ghosting instruments.
So I'm looking for how to simulate a Piper Warrior II... and I've found this: https://www.justflight.com/product/pa28-161-warrior-ii-microsoft-flight-simulator
It looks like they haven't updated it to 2024 yet, so if I wanted to install this I think I need 2020. I see that there's a "Microsoft Flight Simulator 40th Anniversary Edition" on steam... is that the best way to go about it assuming I kind of want to practice in the next few weeks?
So this came out of wondering around an airport, and now I've taken my first ground lesson where we went through V speeds and a bunch of airplane stuff that I still need to spend time reading about.
This is what I plan to use with it:
Logitech G Pro Flight Rudder Pedals and Logitech G Pro Flight Switch Panel and Logitech G PRO Flight Yoke System, Professional Simulation Yoke and Throttle Quadrant, 3 Modes, 75 Programmable Controls, Configurable Knobs, Steel Shaft, USB, PC - Black ... I think they look fairly close to the plane I'm trying to simulate.
Any other thoughts or recommendations?
Hello All,
I’m looking at adding more peripherals to the sim set up but are limited to the number of USB ports right now, any good recommendations for USB banks that work well with flight sim gear?
Those who had the Visionjet in 2020 and now have it in 2024. I tried flying the Vision in 2024and couldn’t get the checklist to come up. It brings up the page but it’s black? Did they not include the checklists in the free 2024 version? Thanks for the help.
I’m currently using a TM TCA Airbus Sidestick with which I’m pretty happy but I read about the URSA MINOR Airline Joystick and I’m very tempted. Before buying it, I wonder if there is something better than the Winwing, considering I can get it for €59.90.
I know about the following options:
Is there anything else out there? Is it worth the premium of any of the options compared to the Winwing?
I am having issue of that as i load on any airport the ortho tile of that airport is hd but all other tiles than that airport is completly blurry both in autoortho and scenery enhancment
Anyone have idea to fix this
everyone said Logitech extreme 3d is good for starter so so i started with it. sorry if wrong flair
Long time lurker of this sub. I regularly fly FBW A320 on MSFS 2020. Kept seeing yall getting excited and satisfied over WinWing's MCDU / PFP so i FOMO'ed in as well lmao. Now i cant wait to not having to move my mouse to the MCDU to and using my mouse click for each button, just for my flight plans
Also, any Canadians in here who's got their hands on the MCDU? I'd love some info on how long it actually took from PO to shipping.

For me, it definitely has to be when your in cruise. Just sat up there, the views make it better but still, can get a bit boring. Especially if I can’t go anywhere if I’m connected to VATSIM etc
There is an app for iPad available in Europe that have the sketchpad and connects to msfs 2024 for the map? Thanks in advance

I'm playing on a PC with a keyboard and xbox controller, and I can't walk in any direction suddenly, even though I could before. I didn't change any settings (other than graphics) and I might have pressed some random keyboard button, but I doubt anything gives such an effect, so it might even be a bug.
I can rotate around, look and have the walking animation if I press forwards or backwards, but without moving. I tried restarting the game a few times, pressing left and right mouse buttons (which worked for someone) and entering and exiting the plane, but nothing.

Trying to calibrate my honeycomb bravo throttles. The issue is reverse thrust on axis, I have already ticked off "reverse on axis" in the efb and my idle detent is at the lowest position but when i place my throttles to idle it goes into reverse. The throttles go into reverse irl and in the sim at around 20%.
