Does anyone know if I can download the Cabin Ready sound that’s common on the B777? I don’t have the PMDG 777 to search for it.
All the service vehicles disappeared. On pushback, aircraft is not accompanied by the tug, and baggage/catering trucks never come. Hard to pinpoint when it happened. DAE had this issue?

Hi All, I've tried landing yesterday at Inibuilds VVTS RWY25R, ILS Approach. I've tuned in the ILS Frequency in both radio panels. When I click VOR/LOC button no LOC signal appears. Can someone kindly let me know what I have done wrong? I could not see BOMSU waypoint too. Thanks!
Summary:
PMDG 737 for MSFS: Major update coming mid-October, incorporating 777-derived functions and updatable navdata. Xbox navdata updates included. Testing expected soon.
PMDG 777-300ER for MSFS: Recent update released to address outstanding issues, with new liveries coming mid-October. Next update aligned with PMDG 777F release.
PMDG 777F for MSFS: In beta testing with expected release by end of October.
MSFS 2024 Transition: Plans to adapt existing products (DC-6, 737, 777) for MSFS 2024, with updates and new gameplay features evaluated once SDK is available.
PMDG 777-200LR and PMDG 777-200ER: Anticipated 777-200LR release by year-end for MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024. 777-200ER timeline uncertain.
PMDG 737MAX: Retail version delayed due to a commercial project with a major aircraft manufacturer. The 737MAX is de-prioritized for now.
PMDG 747 for MSFS: Progressing well, no release date yet, impacted by MSFS 2024 transition. Features advanced 3D scanning techniques for highly detailed models.
Other Projects: New modeling techniques for enhancing close-up detail in external models are in use, with ongoing development on unrevealed projects.
Postscript: PMDG emphasizes adaptability as the team navigates the transition to MSFS 2024.
Hey Yall,
It's been a while since I've seen one of these on here and the market has changed since. I want to hear your opinions on some of the best wireless & wired headphones available for flightsim specifically. To me that means:
Decent bass to feel the 77W GE90 startup
Good mic for vatsim
Ultra low-latency bluetooth adapter (if wireless)
Excellent range and clarity to hear the various noises in the aviation environment
Battery life longer than 30hrs
Thanks!
I think one of the more frustrating elements of MSFS is trying to give your flights meaning. If you're looking for a reason to fly and you're interested in military aviation, we have a unique idea that integrates MSFS and DCS into a grand campaign narrative. In 7th Cavalry's Heavy Airlift Wing we fly weekly flights that are tied into our DCS group's deployment operations. The percentage of completed MSFS flights gives the DCS operation a logistical/supply starting point, so it's very important that we fly. We additionally have all sorts of special routes, including event flights like natural disaster relief or special forces/CIA exfils. If this sounds like something you're interested in, join us today at https://7cav.us/enlist and our discord at https://discord.gg/7cav Be sure to put down SPC.Longwood.L as your recruiter. This is truly unique and adds amazing depth to both MSFS and DCS.
I’ve had the Alpha sealed in a box since it was released. Been wanting to get the Bravo but not having a desk to even use it properly has led me to hold off.
I saw a brand new Bravo for $299 but am wondering if there is something else that’s out now that’s possibly better or just as good for a lower price? Would a different throttle quadrant still work with the Honeycomb Alpha?
Thanks!
Not sure if it’s related to the recent game update, or if anyone knows a fix to this. I’ve loaded in to Heathrow and it’s showing as a default AI generated airport, even though I have the iniBuilds EGLL installed.
Please help!!
Title,
I feel like it's very low contrast, I'm not sure if it's just me, but I don't have the same qualm with the FBW 320
Kind of like an IPS vs OLED situation
So I really enjoy military flight sims like DCS and some of the aircraft for FSX and MSFS 2020, but MSFS 2020 doesn't have weapons/functional weapons and FSX has lots of niche military aircraft but I had little to no luck with any of the weapon addons from captain sim and tacpack. I know that tacpack is also for p3d but I do like the look of p3d 100 times over fsx. Do I need to buy a specific version? Is there a version that has the most military aircraft available? What/where can I find the best freeware or at least not super expensive military aircraft?
So I’m just about to start the process of making the transition from console VR gaming (PSVR2) to a high end PC as I’d really like to start playing flight sims and what better time to do it than now with the pending release of MSFS 2024.
I do get motion sickness but love the immersion that VR brings and recently have become more and more interested in purchasing a motion rig to enhance the immersion even further. Which also got me thinking - because VR motion sickness is caused by a mismatch between what we see and what we feel would a motion system help reduce motion sickness by allowing our vestibular system to experience similar to what our eyes are seeing?
To those who VR with motion, would really like to hear about your experiences and appreciate any feedback. I’m thinking an actuator system prob wouldn’t have enough travel to make a difference? If there’s anyone here with a 6-axis system what would be your take on this? Did you find it helped or hindered motion sickness?
I spent some time a few days go archiving the software and scanning the manuals to the Atari ST version of Flight Simulator II from 1986. I also enabled the emulator within archive.org for those that want to sample.
I’ve got an Xbox series S and I am wondering what would happen if i connected a non-xbox switch/button via USB and if I could bind it in msfs2020. Thought I would ask before I tried because I’d rather not fry my Xbox.
I've been through the ringer on this one.. openxr native mode is fine, but if i switch to steamvr openxr, not so much. I've reset the headset, uninstalled everything including openxr, toolkit etc, put the latest 1.33 client on the windows machine, same difference. Black screen in steamvr mode, if toolkit is installed you can see the fps overlay, but at this point its a pure pimax client install. Other steamvr titles work fine
On my test clean windows partition, i seemed to have this issue initially, toggled a few settings in pimax and it went away, still leads me to think its an OS issue.
Im wondering if maybe there is a log file somewhere that could give a clue.
On the verge of doing a long and painful wipe/reinstall of windows on the main partition otherwise.
