Can I mix the thrustmaster boeing yoke with the thrustmaster Airbus throttle quadrant on the xbox?
Was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and can shed their input on this. I fly the 700 very often compared to the 800 and have noticed that the 700 struggles in very heavy wind conditions on approaches. At times it’s very hard to control and will get blown around like it’s an ultralight, but when I fly the 800 it’s a lot smoother to handle in harder conditions. Coming from flying the Airbus more I’ve gotten used to its FBW system and obviously handles flying way differently to a more mechanical hydraulic system in the 737. Is the 700 really this hard to control over the 800?
Right now, my setup consists of the Honeycomb Bravo for the throttle, mounted on a shelf next to my desk, and a VelocityOne flightstick which I can plug in and place into position. It's basic, I know, I like this setup because it means that I can do my regular activities on my computer and then switch to flightsim mode when I'd like to, without having another separate setup.
Thinking of getting a yoke, as I usually fly Boeing, but I'd still like it to be able to be retracted from my desk somehow. Rudder pedals are definitely also on my bucket list. I'll send a pic of my current setup in the morning.
After waiting 5 weeks, the pre-order email has arrived and it's paid, lets see how long it takes to deliver. I'll post updates when i use it!

Using: X-Plane 12 | Zibo Mod | Flightdeck Solutions | Home cockpit | Boeing 737
"Hope you enjoy the ride"
Dunno what to do so I set up a tow to get G-VJAZ from gate to maintenance bay
I'm planning to start in Hamburg and finish in Hamburg. I'll be doing the Tour in Flightgear so i don't know whether the scenery will be good.
Anyone know where I can find an a320 family quick reference handbook app or pdf?
I'm looking for USB 2.0 hubs that put out 1 amp per port. I am running 12 flight instrument panels on my simulator and they require a lot of juice I currently have 12 port Sabrents but they seem a bit underpowered. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I was flying around last night without a problem and when I logged on today I lost all plane sound. Can hear atc on vatsim but no switch or engine sounds. I’ve tried the fix where I change my sound settings to default but it still doesn’t work. I cant hear the in game music, in game atc, and settings, but cockpit sounds are non existent
Loupedeck Live configuration for Lancair Evolution: https://dlicudi.github.io/cockpitdecks-configs/decks/lancair-evolution/
Sorceror autopilot buttons on FCU page.
Revamped Radio page full (fine/coarse) control and switching between active/standby for COM1 COM2 NAV1 NAV2 ADF. Transponder (also with fine/coarse toggle) and transponder mode button.
Engine page has all data you would see on MFD EIS for single turbo prop. Also added fuel duration (not IRL feature tho).
Work in progress but usable.
So I have tested it with the Fenixsim 320 and the FBW Neo. Does anyone know if it works with the Horizon A321Neo? I found out it didn’t work with the horizon A330, but maybe someone smarter than me knows a work around.
After saving up for a long time, my gf and I took a vacation in London for a few days. During that time, I had booked the Silver Experience at the Brooklands Museum, home to Concorde G-BBDG and the world’s only functioning Concorde simulator. It was a fantastic day and Paul Griffin (a Concorde first officer from 1997-2003) was our instructor. I have been flying the FSLabs Concorde for a long time, and I’m obsessed with the plane, so I felt right at home. Afterward he said I did fantastic and he’d offer me a job at BA if he still worked there! 😂 I will remember this for a LONG time.
Everytime I fly this aircraft the sim begins to stutter every 2 seconds (literally 2 seconds) after engine start. Makes it practically unflyable. It’s the only plane that does it to me. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled once.
PC Specs: I7-12700k 4080 32GB RAM
Hi folks!
I have next PC configuration:
CPU: i7-14700K
MB: Asus Z790-F
RAM: 32GB DDR5
PSU: 1000W
GPU: NVidia GTX1650 4GB
So, i have strong and powerful (for today :) ) CPU/MB/RAM, but weak GPU.
But i still have problems on approaching/landing.
And my FPS on FL is ~25-30.
All setups maximum on "Middle"
On FL
On landing
Default MSFS Scenery of SBGL.
No any tweakers on add-ons.
Only IVAO.
And it was zero traffic in airport on landing.
What are you can recommend in setups to increase FPS or at least make it more stable on approach/landing?
P.S.
I know i need to change my GPU. But perhaps you have some ideas?
Thanks!
I recently stumbled upon this piece of visual poetry and had to share.
edit: not sure what happened to the link when I hit Post: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_9-W065NsQ
Anyone here purchased it/enjoying it? I find the weather in MSFS a little lacking.
I fly out of my home airport often - KDEN. There is usually pretty moderate mountain-wave turbulence a majority of the time, and the ATIS’ are always reporting turbulence between FLx and FLxx.
So, worth the $20/$30?
Appreciate it!
