I am trying to get into route building on trainz but am having difficulty finding high quality content. The download station seems to be filled with primarily junk. I am used to ts classic so any help would be appreciated.
As the title says, are there any rack-and-pinion mountain railway routes for Train Sim Classic that I can download somewhere?
I just want to say to everyone who responded to my post the other day about which sim to buy - a massive massive thank you!
I wasn’t expecting much from that post but you’ve all been incredibly helpful and I just want to say I appreciate all of your comments so very much.

I was rebuilding the whole line at the end of last year and start of this year, it's a vast improvement over the Gunnislake branch in the East Cornwall and Branches route and Cornish Railways 1.0 - 1.4 releases. It now uses more baseboards so you can see more scenery, and LIDAR height data for accurate cuttings/embankments and hills. Also I built the Calstock viaduct myself, and most of the other station buildings.
Hey folks! So I've been thinking about expanding my sim experience and I thought about getting a Sifa Pedal (in real life we have a Pedal we keep down and release every 8 sec or so) to release a function to the part of the body I already use for it anyway. Do any of you do this, or have an experience in Elgato stuff and how customizable it is?
So several assets are faulty or have unknown kuids, how do I fix this?
So I would love a model railway. I unfortunately don’t have the space nor budget for one. Therefore I’m looking at a train sim that would let me do this instead, however I know nothing about the many different sims and their infinite versions.
I’m pretty sure Trainz ‘22 is the best fit for me, am I wrong?
When I attempt to select the middle flout on the left side in the route editor of train simulstor classic, this happens. I am trying to get to the assets so I can use a mod, but I can't. I've relaunched the game, but it stays the same. What do I do here?
So... can you download Zusi3 custom timetables from somewhere? There is alot of nice routes in the sim, but it would be cool to get around and see other areas, perhaps with more trains and locomotive
Hi all, I have a problem in Train Sim World 5, where my TGV keeps shutting off and coming to a complete stop mid travel. The loud bell ringing alert comes on, and then red zig zag lines come up next to the speed as it comes to a stop. What do I do to keep this from happening?
Got an extra key for TSC, whoever finds this first can have it. Scrambled the 3 segments of the key to avoid bots (I don't know if it's a legitimate concern). Order them correctly and add a hyphen, like: AAAAA-BBBBB-CCCCC

Anyone knows if openrails has Quebec routes for freight?? perhaps Montreal - Quebec?? or any other sim?
Cannot upload videos on this sub so you have to watch it on youtube This is just a quick and dirty demo, rather a proof of concept, of the new train simulator I am working on. I made it with Godot Engine and intend on working to a user friendlier version. At the moment this is only singleplayer but I probably will add multiplayer (might take a while). I'm open to any suggestions.
Hello to everyone i play both TS Classic and TSW, but i never played trainz. What do you think about trainz? Talking about the 'a new era' version

So I'm not sure if anyone else here has the merged ECML route from ATS for TS 20xx but I have an issue just south the of Edinburgh where the track speed is 95MPH and then drops to 15MPH without warning, causing my train to to into emergency braking. I though I could easily fix it in the editor by changing the track speed, but when select that section of track in the editor it says multiple track rules and all the properties boxes are balnk and it wont allow me to enter anything. I tried deleting that section of track and putting some new track down but now I cant get new track to connect with the existing track.
So does anyone know how I can get the track pieces to connect? The join and wel buttons dont seem to be giving me the little boxes that connect the track. I will post a pic below of how the track looks currently. I know they pieces look different which is ok with me as long as they work.
Thanks.
I've got this inter-urban metro line, its about 20 mi long and runs on the road and along mainline tracks. Other than the Frankfurt U-Bahn trams, what unit could I use. It's supposed to be a modern unit, there's a heritage interurban line elsewhere.

Hi.
