It is not strong enough to carry as a major power that can hold the line in 7.3, China have literally 0 other ground vehicle at 7.3, the only other Chinese vehicle at 7.3 is a Mig-9 jet...
I've just noticed that war thunder seems to have a giant gay community, is there any reason for that?
What do we know of so far? I haven't rlly looked at the leaks or if there's any
Recently been using the gripen for CAS with mild success, what are your opinions on its effectiveness compared to other nations CAS options? Especially with the current state of top-tier being a mostly Russian dominated sky due to the Pantsir and their multiple CAS options. Also, any recommendations on the best way to use the gripen for CAS?
The Me 262 keeps changing br either 6.7 or 5.7 but now its stuck mostly at 6.7 sometimes it switches to 5.7 but it happens much less than before so why does that happen?
And do u think its a good or bad thing
Current favorite vehicle. What have y'all been playing a lot of recently?
Saw this post on the forum, and i agree the heavies are (historically accurate) dying around br 7.7 br. Gaijin said the reloads are a balancing factor. So what's your opinion? The tanks listed should been buffed or the heavies meta should die like irl?

Hey, I got like 20 hours playtime in this now and want to get a premium aircraft. I like the cold war stuff (I fly that alot in dcs too).
Thank you in advance for your suggestions.
I’ve spent way too much time on this game, so much time that I basically have forgotten about other games entirely. I need some suggestions to help me start diversifying my game choice because everything in warthunder is really starting to piss me off at the moment. Anyways what do you guys play other than warthunder?
I have to complete the training of take off and landing for SB but when I get to the take off and it says “use elevator to lift the plan” I’m doing the action and it’s not letting me continue the training please help…. Idk if it’s a controller bind issues or what I’ve tried almost everything
I have an network problem with my war thunder, it seems like it just does not want to utilize my bandwith. i cant even enter into the battle it just stay on the "loading mode" forever because in hangar the network in task manager is 0 i can create custom battle however
The ill-fated bug reported about MiG-23/27 overperforming in a sustained turn has been passed to the developers for execution.
The problem here is that the floodgates have been opened and the next on the chopping block are:
F-16ADF

MiG-21 bis
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/VJATxelvq4ln

Su-17M4

MiG-23ML again but now in regards to max g-load of fully swept out wings

One might argue that some of the planes on the list are overperforming and are in need of balancing. Indeed - planes like JAS39 and F16C had been "balanced" this way in the past. However it could be argued that those grossly overperformed on launch and were in dire need of balancing regardless of what "real life" stats they had.
Now on to why it's a problem:
Releasing an overperforming P2W content and then nerfing it is a predatory tactic that is unversally hated. On the over hand not nerfing it is a bad balancing decision that is not healthy for the overal state of the game. Bad place to be, Gaijin.
Meanwhile some of these vehicles don't even overperform in-game: MiG-21 bis and J37AC spend >70% of their games playing vs 12.0 jets like F-16 and MiG-29 because of how matchmaker works. These nerfs make them even more abysmal. Fix your MM, Gaijin, before you nerf the underdogs.
Why does F-104A/C has to be 9.3 BR? It is not healthy for all the planes from 8.3 to 9.0 that have zero chances of catching one. It's the same old song as with P-39 being at 2.7 BR and making every other US aircraft obsolete up until the early P-51's.
Spitfire LF mk.9 is so broken it dictates META for Gaijin's esports mode where anyone who takes anything other than the Spitfire gets shit on hard. Then at 6.7 the Spitfire gets replaced by another imbalanced aircraft - BI-1. The end result is esports' aircraft part has a stale fixed META that offers no surprises.
Me.262 is being balanced on the basis of it's armament - x4 30mm mk108 and has to fight 1948's upgraded jets that outperform it in every aspect.
And I am pretty sure you can recall a bunch of other examples like these.
So what do we have in the end? Gaijin simultaneously fails to adress balancing issues that have been in the game for years while spending its' time verifying "-25% max sustain rate load" claims and nerfing premium vehicles which creates bad PR.
I once heard a comment that stated: "Gaijin is excellent at doing a lot of work while doing no work at all.". Now I see the validity of this claim. It is some bizarro Soviet mentality bullshit.
In 1400 hours played, 99% of that in RB, I have NEVER gotten US West servers
How do I know?
Quite simple really.
In every single game where I can choose my server location (WoW for example), US West has a ping of 15-25ms. Pingtest websites show US West at 15-25ms, Middle America as 50-60ms, and East Coast as 85-100ms.
In my 1400hr of playing, I’ve gotten 50-60ms less than a dozen time, 99.9% of my matches have been US East. (85-100ms) and ZERO matches have been under 50-60ms. Not a SINGLE match has been US West.
Not much else to say here, either something is seriously wrong with my internet, or US West servers just straight up don’t exist, even worse is I hardly EVER get US Mid servers (50-60ms), and the rare chance I do get a 50-60ms match, I almost always have packet loss or network issues. I had a match last night where I had 55ms, and it hit me with 30% Packet loss, died twice to my tank driving when I wasn’t pressing any input because it didn’t register I had LET GO OF W. Very next match, 90ms, 0% packet loss.
(6.0 Germany) If so, should I add a plane, extra panther, tiger, or a light tank?
