This is a place to discuss simulation games and training software, though leaning more towards simulation gaming than training.

I am curious what other people are watching I have struggled to find good strategy/simulation gameplay with good commentary on YouTube. Want someone that plays simulation games and maybe even discover some new ones while watching on my second screen while I work. So someone with a great personality as well would be cool. Thanks!
I've bought this one, but realized too late that I need a mount for the throttle on the left side.
Maybe I'm blind, but I couldn't find any single pieces to buy.
Do some Pros around here know where I could get mount-parts that would fit on this rough build?
Hello dear Truckers!
I'm relatively new in ETS2 (only 30 hours in),
but I already ordered a wheel and pedals from Logitech (played with controller before).
What I'd really like to buy addionally is a USB-Ignition-key.
I couldn't find anything besides this one:
So, are there any other or better options available?
What would you suggest?
Hi r/SimulationGaming,
We've been working on a Internet service provider simulation game where you are tasked to provide network connectivity to residents in a tower.
Tower Networking Inc. Playtest
The game is currently in beta playtest and we would love to get your feedback on how to make the game fun for you.
Feel free to join the playtest and wish-list the game if you are interested.

Hello, I wondering if there are any simulation games that you would recommend where you can operate a crane. I seem to remember in one the ship simulator games you could operate one of the cranes to load cargo on the ship and would like to find something more modern.
Thanks
In general, do you guys like the added complexity that life simulator mechanics add on top of other gameplay elements, or do you just find them tedious and unnecessary?
I'm currently working on a country simulation game where the primary focus is on watching AI-controlled countries interact, war, and develop over time. The game allows players to start the simulation and observe how different nations evolve, form alliances, and engage in conflicts.
While the core of the game is centered around watching these AI countries in action, there are some interactive elements. Players can tweak various properties and settings that influence the behavior and development of the countries, such as economic factors, military strength, diplomacy settings, and resource availability.
As I'm in the development phase, I would love to hear your suggestions and ideas to make this game more engaging and enjoyable.
