I'm currently at the last tutorial mission and I wanted to know if it's normal to be this hard as in "something you have to go back after more hours of game" or if it's expected that you can complete it. I can kill the first plane, after some time trying to get into his back, but the other two planes destroy me. Don't know if I'm meant to complete this or if it's done too hard for newbies.

-Albatros Dva Sights: I play using Track Ir and I read that this plane was the best beginner trainer plane. I have a hard time aiming with either iron sights and the orange holographic sights due to the position of the sights, it makes me have to lean to the left because that is where the sights align, and when getting closer to a enemy plane having to do that is a bit uncomfortable. How do you guys do it? Do you move the player character inside the pilot seat so it aligned to the sights and you don't have to manually move there irk?

-Ammo: When doing quick missions against 3 enemy planes I always end up without ammo, is there a way to refill in game?

-Matches recorded : When seeing the recorded result of a match, when trying to move in free look to take screensshlts of the action, the frew look camera movement is super sensible and unprecise, is there a way to move it slower?

Hello community, I have question for you, for some reason I am not able to connect to the server that my friend created. Likewise, he is not able to connect to the server that I create. Instead of the ping icon, a crossed-out red circle is displayed. Can anyone advise me? We wanted to play coop without other players, but so far unsuccessful.

I'm trying to complete training mission #3. I fly through every checkpoint, do every maneuver, and when it tells me to land at the end, I do! However, when I landed, absolutely nothing happened. I was just there in the field, and the mission never ended. How do I complete it?

i have just got ROF made a account did the mail. and when to log in and I got the error " wrong e-mail or password" both of them are right. what do i do?

Do I have to buy anything? Im a free player and all my options are: Quick mission, missions and campaign.

New here and pretty new to flying sims in general.

I have a VKB Gladiator joystick and no rudder pedals. Any suggestions on the best place to map the rudder on this joystick? I am attempting to map it to the twist motion of the joystick but I can't adjust the sensitivity, it's either 0% or 100% which doesn't make for smooth flying. I can't figure out how to make it gradual on this joystick, it's either user error or a limitation of trying to use the rudder on the joystick.

I've been messing around with Rise of Flight recently and enjoy using the keyboard for flight controls. For this I enter Joystick mode. However I can't seem to move my head around with the mouse much. It will move a little but snap back to center position. Is it possible to turn off this return to center issue?

I have constantly tried resetting the password or using a different email but no matter what I do it says invalid email or password. Before you say are you sure your typing everything right yes i am.

Hi! I can never apply any camouflages to my aircraft, nor in carreer or quick mission or anywhere else. Camos will simply not appear where I could change them. Could anyone help pls?

While im playing, the game will not let me windows + tab or alt+ tab out. the only way i can switch windows is to exit the game. how do i get it to let me change windows?

How do I get my plane's nose to stop shaking left and right when i'm trying to aim?

Really like the game. Got the Steam version and bought the bombers pack. But struggling to find many missions to fly with them - and the mission editor doesn't look like a fun way to spend an evening.

Where can I get missions that others have made?

Also, how can I play co-op missions where my son can be the gunner?

Hey I've just got into rise of flight and pretty much got all the controls dialed in except for freelook. At default its set to the mouse but i don't want that, id rather map it to my joysticks hat switch like in FSX. Can anybody please tell me how. Thanks a million.

Ps: i dont have track ir or any other head tracking system.

New player here, could really use a training/sparring partner. Available most evenings and weekends EST hours.

Got ROF when it first came out.  Could never get my hotas to synch correctly.  Waited a few years and loaded it up again - same thing.  Now I just downloaded the free version figuring it would be debugged by now....maybe it's me?

I'm running Windows 20 - plenty of ram and graphics,  Downloaded the latest Saitek X52 pro Flight controller drivers.  No problems.

In game on the settings screen my joystick does respond correctly when I am setting them up.  And yes - I DO hit Apply before I try to fly and yes they do list correctly in the input settings screen. 

Now when I jump into the cockpit SOME of the joystick settings work such as fire gun but none of the ones I set and many of the generic keyboard settings don't respond.  Also where the hell is the setting for 'Chase View"  It's supposed to be keyboard F4 but I can't find it to bind to my joystick.    Anyway - 11 years for me and still stuck in the hanger!  

I MUST be doing something wrong...or should I look into Great battles series....?

Hey! Remembering old times, when I played Birds of Prey or Gunship 2000 and few others (I can't remember them now lol) I jumped into this game and wow! It's fantastic! I have X52pro I used with Elite Dangerous, now looking forward to get hattrack :) I am going through tututorials, but what would you suggest to do after? I love graphics, flight model, sounds and everything else. I wanted to play a flight sim, but with missions, objectives etc. and apparently this one is most noob friendly for folks like me.

Just getting back into flight sims, seem there is not any multi player going on. How hard is it to set up?

Just brought ROF for the 2nd time, but I have not seen any multi player dog fight going on any more. When is a good time to log on or is it over with.
