I’m currently going to the second interview for a Brand Content Executive role at Leyton, and I’m not sure if this will bring me closer to my goal of becoming a Brand Manager or Project Manager. Has anyone here started with this role and transitioned into senior brand management or project management, or does it typically lead more into content management?
This will help me decide whether to accept the job or not. I’m looking for a third opinion, as I’ve already sent the following to HR and am waiting for their response:
Dear Hiring Manager's Name,
I appreciate the opportunity to interview for the Brand Content Executive position at Leyton and to learn more about the team. After reviewing the role in more detail, I wanted to clarify how much of it involves strategic brand management versus content execution. My long-term goal is to grow into a brand management or project management role, where I can contribute to brand positioning, campaign strategy, and cross-team coordination. I’d also love to understand the growth path for this position. What is the more senior role that follows the Brand Content Executive position, and how does this role feed into broader brand or project management responsibilities? If the next step aligns with my career goals, I’d be happy to discuss how I can contribute and grow within Leyton. If this role doesn’t directly lead to that path, I’d still love to stay connected and explore future opportunities that align more closely with brand or project management, as I see strong potential for collaboration.
Looking forward to your insights.
Best regards,
When something big happens—like a platform outage or a major policy change—people rush to Google for answers. A great example is the temporary TikTok ban in the U.S., which led to a massive spike in searches as users scrambled to understand what was happening and find alternative platforms.
My team and I decided to collect this data to see how people responded and draw some conclusions about what we could learn from it.
The ban sparked widespread concern among users. Within hours, Google searches for “TikTok ban,” and “why is TikTok banned,” took off immediately.
The uncertainty drove people to seek information and explore other platforms, highlighting how sudden disruptions can shift digital behavior overnight. Searches for the term “TikTok alternatives,” and "rednote" demonstrate that.
The ban's impact on search behavior extended beyond U.S. borders, influencing international audiences as well.
That way, people all over the world started searching for information online, using terms like “Has TikTok been banned in the US,” “Why is TikTok getting banned,” and “When will TikTok be banned in the US.”
The immediate spike in searches faded as the ban was lifted, but its long-term effects persisted. Users who had discovered new platforms during the ban continued engaging with them, showing how even brief viral moments can change user behavior in lasting ways. For marketers and content creators, this shows how important it is to not rely too heavily on a single platform.
This also demonstrates that marketers need to be flexible in responding to real-time events and taking advantage of cultural shifts. This approach offers a great opportunity to create content that addresses new questions or taps into trending terms.
All the search information we took from Google Trends, you can check it for yourself. And I hope you found this post useful.
We’re looking for a digital marketing professional that has (provable) experience with advertising and/or increasing awareness in the health / dietary supplements industry. DM me if you’re the person we’re looking for and let’s connect.
Which industries (worldwide) are most in need of appointment setters for remote online sales meetings and what is the average they will pay per meeting and pecentage on subsequent conversions? Thanks in advance.
It’s not a “get rich quick” thing, but it’s a legit way to make money by sharing stuff you genuinely believe in. You don’t need a massive following to start, just a bit of time, consistency, and a willingness to learn.
What’s cool is that you can start with just a blog, social media, or even YouTube. It’s all about recommending products you love, and if people click and buy, you earn a commission. It’s a simple concept but can turn into a steady income stream over time.
For anyone wondering, yes, this is totally legit. I know because I’m doing it! So, if you’re looking for a side hustle or even something more, affiliate marketing could be the right fit.
Anyone else here have experience with it? Would love to hear your thoughts!

A couple weeks ago, I asked the marketing sub if anyone actually had AI content that works, and the results were mixed, and people we're skeptical. I decided to do some experimentation
I've been trying a few different content formats over the last 14 days, and had a viral video (~250k views in a few days). I followed that up with videos of the same format, and in the couple weeks the best performers have:
Total is 1.7m in 14 days. The account is a tennis-focused account where I use AI to make parody press conferences from famous players. There's a watermark in the corner of the video, the account has AI in the name, so I'm not trying to deceive anyone 😅!
I'm doing this mostly for fun, but I think there's a lot of mileage in AI content, at least on instagram. I think the key is that AI is just a vessel for genuinely good content:
If you want proof DM me! Hope this helps. Just keep in mind -- AI is a tool like photoshop, and the content is the joke, the story, etc., so if you can leverage AI to tell a great story / joke in a new way, the world is your oyster :)
I understand exactly step by step process but I need help on understanding the metrics when trying to analyze how much I spend on a ad and how well it performs and what too look for if it’s doing well or if it’s doing poor. Thanks:)
I do creative work so I'm not familiar with the media side and hoping to gain clarity on what would make something a no-brainer for them to try out. My impression is one of the main risks would be if creative assets they paid for aren't quality and/or don't perform.
From previous experiences, I stand behind my work and can put my money where my mouth is with confidence when there's a good fit.
I'm now trying to figure out how feasible it would be to partner with media shops to test and find winning creative assets, and only then do I put food on my table. Incentives are as aligned as it gets.
I imagine the predetermined benchmarks would be case by case, is there a good way to determine what these benchmarks are / should be for each case?
If you can benefit from an experimental trial run for this, definitely reach out.
.
Would you use a free tool that generates trending keywords for your content? (You’d watch a short ad for results). If yes dm me
Hey, I need bulk Google Play Store reviews for an app. Please contact me if you can help.
I had a new job of managing and posting like 10 clients who has accounts on different platforms Facebook, Instagram, x, TikTok, Snapchat ....I need a tool that can help me schedule and post on all these platforms from all these different clients accounts in one place and crate a monthly report
Been thinking about this a lot lately - most marketing dashboards are just noise masquerading as insights. Beautiful graphs showing upticks in traffic, engagement rates climbing, conversion rates improving. But these dashboards often miss the actual narrative of what's happening with our marketing efforts and business impact. I’m not against dashboards by any means, from Rizolve, “companies that use data visuals can shorten meetings by 24 percent.” I just want to discuss what is more effective in a dashboard.
What Actually Matters:
Revenue Impact:
- How marketing activities directly influence revenue
- Which channels truly drive profitable customer acquisition
- Lifetime value trends by acquisition source
Real Business Impact:
- Market share movements
- Brand perception shifts
- Customer retention patterns
The Better Approach:
Instead of building dashboards around what's easy to measure, build them around what actually drives business decisions. Ask yourself:
- Would this metric change our strategy if it shifted?
- Does this tell us why something happened, not just what happened?
- Can we act on this information?
What metrics have you found actually drive decisions in your organization? Particularly interested in hearing from folks who've successfully made the transition from vanity metrics to business impact measurements.

I’m a masters student in Canada and I ll graduate next year Dec in MBA. I started as a photographer and ve been shooting weddings and other events for the past 8-9 years. I started shooting videos in past 2 years.
Somehow I lost interest in shooting since I was managing a small photography company and I had employees to shoot for the company. Also the industry is very volatile since it’s seasonal. I enjoyed managing a team and other operations. Took up masters in MBA as an opportunity to switch career.
I did digital marketing course online from my home country and I was taking care of the marketing dept of the company too. I kinda want to get into corporates and have a steady income.
Now people here in Canada have been telling me that media is a good field to work on. If so where can I start after my course ? I’m seeking advice on choosing my career. Which stream can get into? I’m open to exploring. TIA
Hey everyone!
I’m working on a project that aims to help anyone connect with the right digital marketing agencies in a way that’s smooth and efficient. But before we finalize anything, I’m hoping to get some real insights from this community. Whether you’re someone who works at a digital marketing agency or someone who’s hired one before, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
For those who work or have worked at digital marketing agencies:
For those who’ve hired or looked for digital marketing services:
I’m open to hearing any advice, stories, or thoughts on this topic—it would be super helpful as we figure out what people actually need in this space.
I’ve helped many brands/businesses/creators/influencers claim inactive usernames for their businesses or pages. There is no doubt that this helps the brand image and credibility greatly and will increase traffic and followers. If anyone needs help with one feel free to reach out.
I am marketing Zoho business suite to SMBs. New to marketing. How to get SMB clients based of a specific niche showing testimonials? How to reach out to them? Email marketing seems to be difficult as I may be marked spam.
Hey, I'm not here with intention of selling or marketing my product. I have been reading the disucssions in this community and felt that this is the best palce to ask questions.
I have started a D2C brand last year & my primary background is tech. Being a lean team, we had to rely on hacks to market our product, and I realised even after working with hiring agency & partnering with influencers, marketing takes huge chunk of the day.
And on top of that, most of the tasks are kind-of repeatitive. We had to spend good amount of time looking at what sort of ads competitors are putting up, finding inspiration, if I got the inspiration then making that ad creatives were time taking.
I have spoken to ~ 6 folks in marketing (ex. Marketing head of Udaan, ex. director of Unacademy), and these are the points I boiled down to.
What I realised that, with AI - the way we use softwares will change. It's risky to automate marketing, but there will be tools which will definately help them 100x their work.
I want to understand
I'm going FT into building this, and your thoughts will help me a lot. If you want to do an elabore discussion I would love to catch-up with you over a coffee. (just DM me a high)
Moderators, please dont delete this, I'm trying to understand the problems, and I'm here with no intentions of selling anything.
Also, In the pinned thread, I realised lot of folks are sharing that it helps in reducing repeatitive tasks, and helps in analysis. can you please let me know about what kind of tasks are these?
They charge around 1,55,000 is it worth it? They used to take some deposit amt and then we were supposed to pay after we are placed earlier right? in the initial or say previous batches why is it that they started taking this much fees all of sudden? I talked yesterday to a counsellor she told to pay all of the fees in emi or whole Anyone who completed it recently when they started charging whole of fees?
Hi guys,
I recently started a service to create content (simple video ads) for businesses and individuals and I curious as to how folks might respond to my work.
If you'd like a free marketing video for your service/product please shoot a dm. In exchange I would appreciate some feedback on the quality of my work so I can make improvements and adjustments.
Thanks
Hey everyone! I’m a noob here but just wanted to share that if you’re lurking here or curious about digital marketing, Coursera has amazing courses! I’m going for Digital Marketing and E-Commerce. The classes are at your own pace and have sooooo much helpful information. All I pay is a monthly subscription for the site itself and it’s only like 50 bucks a month! Most courses take 6 months, but you can get done so much faster when you set a good schedule or even just do it on your down time. The best part is once you’re done, you get your Google Certification for it! Hope this helps!
We’re looking for the best way to market wholesale iPhones to Latin American buyers, ideally those who would come to Miami to buy in bulk. We know there’s demand, but we’re trying to figure out the most effective way to reach serious buyers.
For those with experience in this space, what marketing strategies have worked best? Are there specific platforms, ad strategies, or networks that attract real buyers? Any insights on building trust with first-time customers would also be helpful.
Heyya I’ve only recently decided to learn a little bit about digital marketing and it would be amazing if someone could help by showing me the ropes :D where do I start?
Thanks so much!!
After I come up with creative brief & script for an ad, I then have to find relevant scenes / clips to send to my editors. I reuse a lot of stuff (I'd rather not have new paid UGC for every single video ad I want to launch). Scrolling through a bunch of different videos to find a specific clip in mind is obviously not the most pleasant thing.
Is there any way to quickly find relevant clips to use in video ads from a large asset bank of UGC / pro-shoots? Some kind of semantic search. I use google drive at the moment. Am I just complaining or has anyone else also felt this frustration?

The integration of AI Overviews into Google’s Circle to Search feature has already started to improve the search experience. Now, Google provides AI-generated overviews for various visual search results, including places, popular images, and unique objects. The feature allows users to highlight, circle, or tap on images, text, or videos to search for relevant content, offering a more interactive and detailed search process as a result.
Additionally, Circle to Search now recognizes numbers, email addresses, and URLs, which enables quick actions, such as tapping to connect to relevant information.

Google has removed breadcrumbs from mobile search results, leaving only the domain name visible. This update is aimed at creating a cleaner and more streamlined look for URLs on mobile devices, as breadcrumbs were often truncated on smaller screens. Search results on desktops will still display breadcrumbs along with domain names, creating a difference in presentation between mobile and desktop search. The update is global and applies to all languages and regions.
Since breadcrumbs are no longer displayed on mobile devices, it is important to ensure that other elements, such as the domain name, are well-optimized and recognizable for mobile users.

Recently, China introduced its LLM, which has already managed to push ChatGPT off the top spot in Apple’s App Store. DeepSeek was trained on relatively inexpensive hardware that offers open-source code and a free alternative to paid services. While it doesn't have all the capabilities of the paid version of ChatGPT, it remains highly popular.
Perplexity immediately announced the availability of the DeepSeek R1 model, which stores data on servers in the U.S. and Europe, and Nvidia's stocks have already dropped by 12%.

Meet Operator—an AI agent from OpenAI that automatically performs tasks online, such as:
Initially available as a research preview for Pro users in the U.S., Operator interacts with web interfaces—clicking buttons, scrolling pages, and typing text—to complete tasks. The company plans to expand access globally and provide an API for developers, aiming to enhance efficiency, productivity, and security in task management.
Chris Nelson, Senior Analyst at Google, updated his LinkedIn profile, noting that he leads a team focused on addressing "novel content issues," specifically the detection and management of AI-generated content. This is an important update that signals Google's growing attention to handling AI-created content in search rankings.
Previously, Google warned against using AI-generated content for link manipulation, and now the company seems to be actively working on methods for detecting and managing such content. This development could mean that Google will take further steps in the future to regulate AI-generated content to maintain the reliability and relevance of search results.

Documentation
Last week, Google updated its Search Quality Rater Guidelines, expanding from 170 to 181 pages.
What’s new:
It’s important to note that these guidelines don’t directly describe how the search algorithm ranks websites. Instead, they help raters evaluate content. However, these evaluations can also be used for the search systems training.
The SEO community suggests that Google has expanded its reputation abuse policy to European regions. These policies were already introduced in the U.S. in 2024 and target sites engaging in practices such as promoting fake coupons. European sites have experienced significant drops in rankings, particularly those related to coupon promotions. This has notably affected sites in Italy and Spain.

The new Google Business Profiles feature allows businesses in the U.S. to set up chat via text messages and WhatsApp. Users can now easily communicate directly with businesses through these messaging platforms, which helps improve customer interaction. Although Google's official documentation still states that this feature is not yet available in the U.S., many users are already seeing it in their profiles.

Hi, I’m a complete novice to digital marketing but I’m currently working on making a product that can be downloaded digital after purchase. I want to include the option to customize the digital product with names, but I’m confused on how this would affect the product’s “delivery”. It looks like most digital products are sent directly to customers by email immediately after purchasing; what I’m struggling with is how is that possible with customized digital download products? If they purchase without the customization then the order can be filled right away since it would be “in stock”. But if they request a customized product then are customers aware that the download would not be available immediately after purchase? Since I would have to work on it. I know this makes sense with physical products but are customers aware of this with digital downloads too? Or is there something I’m missing as the creator? I’m just confused on the etiquette of it all and am looking for some guidance if anyone has any. Thank you
Hey all,
I’m an operations expert who’s worked with about digital marketing companies (about 40).
I’m switching my offer / brand from general operational improvement to customer journey specialist, and I’d like to get some specific testimonials.
Here’s what I’m offering: I’m offering a free customer journey analysis’ for 2 agencies in exchange for a testimonial (a testimonal ONLY if you feel the session delivered).
In our call, I’ll point out with fresh eyes what’s wrong and what you and your team need to fix to improve retention. If what I uncover can save just one client from churning for a year, or many clients from churning for a few extra months, you’ll have extra money in your pocket you wouldn’t
What’s my superpower? I’m brilliant at finding invisible friction points that increase likelihood of customer churn such as: slow delivery, poor expectations, bad customer training, team members not executing, tasks slipping… etc.
I also have plenty of proven best practices and tricks to wow customers throughout the journey.
If you’re interested just DM or send your email and I’ll reach out.
If not, please leave constructive feedback on what did not appeal to you about this, and what your real burning needs are that my operational skill set can solve in your mind.
Cheers
