B to C business in Texas USA. In business 10 yrs. Never seen spend get this high.
Is there a Google inflation trend? Feels like an attack or something odd. Am I loco?
Perhaps due to bidding against other companies like Amazon, CVS, Walgreens for same terms.
Our AdWords expert is from IndiaZ. He has us on Performance Max w broad search. I feel like we need to be doing phrase match.
Appreciate any dm or insight. Feels like being crushed.
I'm a private investigator and I've been running google ads for a couple of years now. I can not seem to keep my ads running. Every time my ads guy creates a new add it takes a few to dial in. Once it starts getting calls the ads will get stopped for dishonest behavior. The crazy thing is, google doesn't want us using words like affair, cheating, and the like yet those are the terms people are searching for to find our services. We've even scaled back the ads where the words were so vague that those didn't work either.
Has anyone dealt with this and have had any luck working through it OR did you simply dump google ads and move to meta?
My house cleaning business has organically grown for many years. I was under the impression that I could start using AdWords whenever I wanted to really push growth and it was an easy way to increase sales. I recently got to that point and have been paying someone to manage Google ads for me. Last month I spent $1700 on ads and got 25 conversions. Barely any of those conversions turned into actual sales (most filled out the quote form on our site and trying to close those sales is hard compared to people who actually call us). $1700 (plus the $400 I'm paying the people to manage it) for 25 leads sounds like an insane waste of money. The managers said that an 18% conversion rate is pretty good and that the goal is 20%, so it sounds like this is the norm. Is that true??

Hi,
I’ve been managing casino ads for clients using accounts with the necessary casino licenses, and I’ve had no issues running ads for casinos. On average, my accounts last about 5-12 months before they get suspended.
I currently have a few clients who want to spend $4-12k daily, but scaling up to that amount on Google Ads has been difficult. We’re successfully running campaigns for both crypto casinos and clients from Indonesia and few other geos. For instance, one Indonesian client spends around $2,700 daily, and that budget is used up within 6-9 hours. However, when we try to increase the budget to $4,000, we can only reach about $3,100.
Despite the strong performance and the longevity of my accounts, I haven’t been able to fully solve this budget scaling issue. Do you have any strategies or insights on how we can effectively reach these higher daily spends?
PREFACE: I have multiple Ads accounts running ads and all those ads generate GCLIDs. I capture the GCLIDs in Salesforce. In Salesforce for the Opportunities, the LeadSource field is set based on other tracking parameters (UTMs). The GCLIDs of those Opportunities that reached our conversion goal are then imported to Google Ads to a conversion action via scheduled Google Sheets import, however, I am importing ALL of the winning GCLIDs from ALL of the different Google Ads accounts. This is done on all of the Ads accounts too.
For example, I have GCLIDs generated from ads from accounts "1", "2", and "3". On account "1" I am importing GCLIDs into a conversion action that includes GCLIDs from accounts 1, 2, and 3. The same is repeated on accounts 2 and 3. All accounts get all GCLIDs imported.
QUESTION: If I'm importing all the GCLIDs into a conversion action on account "1", is Google Ads only filtering/matching and ultimately only importing the GCLIDs that came from ad campaigns on account "1", or will account "1" accept GCLIDs from all ads from all accounts?
Whatever I do, I can’t seem to get my target roast above 160ish%. Since my breakeven is around 140-50%, this means I rarely deliver a profit no matter how many sales.
Whenever Roas is around 160%, my budget is mostly spent but I get no profit. If I increase target, even by 10-20%, spend drops significantly.
My website is pretty solid, conversion rate around 1-2%, CTRs average, and CPCs around 50 cents so I’m not sure what I can do to improve my ads. I am in a competitive niche but there’s nothing I can do about that.
Anyone got any tips for how they got out of this struggle?
As of October 1, 2024, we will begin adding a new "Canada DST Fee" surcharge to your next invoice or statement for ads served in Canada. This means invoices or statements for Ads served on or after October 1, 2024, will include a surcharge at a rate of 2.5% for ads served in Canada.
The Canada DST Fee is being added to cover part of the costs associated with complying with digital services tax legislation in Canada.

Earlier, we followed a thumb rule where we'd launch a new campaign on Google Ads with a Google Maximum Clicks or manualCPC strategy.
Now, I feel something has changed
after running for 15 days, the campaign is not delivering just clicks no sales.
Despite all search terms being relevant and the daily budget being spent, I'm wondering what I can do to improve performance. Should I change the bidding strategy?
I run a local service-based business (gym) and I’m looking for help with setting up Google Ads to generate leads. I have a daily budget of $25-50.
Could anyone offer advice on:
Any tips for optimizing on this smaller budget would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. I'm also looking to not get scammed if I hire someone - is this worth hiring someone to do it for me? I have marketing experience so I'm not bad with tech - have run fb ads for years.
Like, what is the CTR benchmark for this ad placement?
We've tried everything, we even verified the cards and it's still being closed after the verification is approved by Google
We're losing hope and it's been 20 days since we last run our campaign.. we even tried off the counter payment and the it's still not reflecting on our account
Still waiting for Google's email

We've been running the same pmax campaign for several years. Increasing budget does NOT increase sales. We could slash spend by 40% and still bring in the same amount of sales as we did the month before. We've tested this over and over again. PMAX seems to be only good at going after brand and bottom of the funnel. Has anyone actually had success with driving top of funnel?
We are about to turn it off and run standard shopping....
Hi everyone!
My client lost access to his email account used for Google Ads accounts. Is it possible to transfer access to all the accounts associated with that email to a new email? I have access to some, but not the older ones.
Thank you.
We only show our ads, sites and tags in the USA.
Specifically, if someone comes from the EU, they will see a sorry page (no tags firing).
Our Google Ads campaigns utilize the Offline Conversion API for bidding and revenue attribution.
Since only US-targeted, users can click a url in the footer to opt-out of tracking/cookies via OneTrust. In other words, there is no cookie consent opt-in banner (only opt-out).
Issue:
Recently, Google started sending us gbraids and wbraids, in addition to the gclid. We have changed our sites to accept these parameters and are now sending them back to Google via Offline Conversion API. We also turned on enhanced conversions for leads.
However, the revenue tied to the new gbraids is not consistently making it back into the Google Ads UI.
Not seeing anything in diagnostics.
Question:
Do we need to setup consent mode v2 here and include the Ad Storage, Ad User Data, and Ad Personalization values with the Offline Conversions API?
If so, do we just hard code “granted” unless the user opts-out? Or do we have to bite the bullet and show a cookie consent banner, even though we have no EU traffic?
If not, any other things we can check as to why rev from gbraids/wbraids is not making it in?
Thanks!

Hi Folks,
I'm preparing my first Google Search campaign. And I'd like insights on structuring ad groups—My goal is to gather accurate data(hopefully some conversions) while keeping things simple.
I've found conflicting info on using single keyword ad groups (SKAGs) vs thematic keywords
Context: I have prior experience with YouTube and Meta ads, Google Search is new territory. The business is a mid-high ticket web/app design studio.
Your expertise on the ideal 2024 approach is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
I have an issue with my Google Ads accounts. I previously had an active account, but after a period of inactivity, Google deactivated it and sent me an email to reactivate it. I missed that email and didn't take any action.
Later, I created a new account to run ads, but now Google has imposed a payment suspension on this new account, and the account is paused. I have already appealed this decision for the new account.
Given this situation, should I try to reactivate my old account or continue to work with the new account? I need to resolve this as soon as possible to run ads for my business
What is the best information source on the internet for learning google adwords?
Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a CRM that tracks form submissions from Google ads with GCLID and then allows me to mark which leads are qualified and not and then import that qualified leads data into Google Ads.
Those are all my notes for this week!
You're all caught up!
Hi pros! I somehow deactivated one of 2 google business locations in Google ads. It no longer shows as an option under location assets at all. See screenshot. How can I run ads so that this business locations shows up on google ads under maps? Where can I re-enable it or can i simply make a new campaign and will it show up again? I believe when I first deactivated it - it was under my google general account and then the second step was in google ads but I don't remember exactly how I did it. Please help! if you have a solution I'd be happy to hire someone to make it happen.
Hi all, I wonder if someone can help.
My services are specific and only exact match seems to work for us.
At the moment I can see how many impressions each one of my keywords is getting however is there a way to see how much impressions I’m missing out on? And if I did want to get more impressions, is there a way to do this? Is it by increasing the budget?
Thanks
Hey everyone,
I'm facing a significant issue with Google Ads conversion tracking and could really use some advice. Here's the situation:
- We're using GA4 to import conversions into Google Ads.
- We only track purchases on our web application as an conversion event, which uses Stripe for payments.
The problem is that some conversions are showing up as duplicates in Google Ads. But there isn't any correlation, some campaigns generate $500 conversion value but in real $14, some others generate $35 conversion value in GAds but in real $0.
I've done extensive research but can't find a proper way to import Stripe conversions accurately. Here's what we've tried so far:
- Currently we're triggering purchaseevents with dynamic values.
- We also ensure GTM and Conversion Linker tags are properly installed and configured.
Despite these efforts, we haven't found a solution in months. I'm curious about the frameworks and methods others use in their web applications or SaaS to import Stripe conversions to Google Ads.
Any solution suggestions or recommendations for third-party apps that could help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
