A: They may be posted, but will be loosely moderated.

Thoughts on Webb Pierce?

I got into his music a few months ago, I think he has a great voice and sings heartfelt songs. My favorite from him has to be "More and More", especially now that I just went through a breakup.

But yeah I think he documented his real life experiences with alcoholism. I can tell with songs like "There Stands the Glass" and "Here I Am Drunk Again". What do you think of him?

Bizarre recommendations?

I'm getting ready to make a series of bootleg cd compilations featuring obscure, quirky, or strange tracks. 'Kountry Moste Qurios'.

Does anyone have anything they think would fit? (I realize some of these are a bit mainstream, but later volumes will have deeper cuts and yet-unknown artists from my collection)

I'd be particularly interested in songs from women, which my list is lacking.

Things along the lines of-

Nat Stuckley - In The Year 2525 (Exordium & Terminus)

Porter Wagoner - The Rubber Room

Henson Cargill - Reprints

Johnny Cash - Boa Constrictor

Ferlin Husky - Eli The Camel

Never Hit Your Grandma With A Shovel

Don Bowman - The Monkey Who Became President

Gil Trythall - Folsom Prison Blues

Bobby Bridger - Merging of Our Minds

C. W. McCall - There Won't Be No Country Music (There Won't Be No Rock 'N' Roll)

Kinky Friedman - We Reserve The Right To Refuse Service To You

Crystal Gayle - We Must Believe In Magic

Billy Edd Wheeler - Woman's Talkin' Liberation Blues

John D. Loudermilk - Hell On A Sled

Stonewall Jackson - Push The Panic Button

Dolly Parton - Elusive Butterfly

Johnny Bond - How To Succeed With Girls (Without Half-Way Trying)

Loney Hutchins - Committed to Parkview

Dick Curless - A Tombstone Every Mile

Lee Conway - Thing In The Swamp

Joel Mathis - Time Machine

Tanya Tucker - Lizzie & The Rainman

Jack Clement - My Voice Is Changing

Jacqueline Hyde & the Moonfolk - Strange New World

Jack Blanchard & Misty Morgan - The Night We Heard The Voice

Homer & Jethro - Monsters of The World, Unite!

Peter La Farge - Radioactive Eskimo

Dee Mullins - I Am The Grass

Lorne Green - I'm a Gun

Carl Gibson - Ghost Riders In The Sky

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
