So family story has it that my grandfather Thomas Grigg was a session musician who used to record for Chet. I didn’t see his name on any of the albums listed in Wikipedia. So either the story isn’t true or Wikipedia isn’t perfect. I’m just curious if there’s a more official repository that might be more accurate. Some of the albums only list Chet on them and no session musicians.
I've heard some old versions but they all seem very slow - did Chet speed it up in his rendition?
I am just wondering if there are versions that are close to Chet's rendition.
Does anyone here have the video of Chet Atkins performing the jitterbug waltz live? It was on youtube but it was deleted and cant find it anywhere
