K, I used to listen to this country/pop song back in the late summer/fall of 2019. The only lyric I remember is "she knows what she's doing and she knows I can tell". It was sung by a girl and had the same vibes and "Miss me more" and "Before he cheats". It wasn't acoustic and was kinda pop-y (think what an angsty teen would listen to). From what I remember the song was about a girl who had a crush/was interested in this guy and this other girl was too but the second girl was making all the moves before the first girl (the singer) could. I've tried literally everything to try and find out what this song is and this is my only hope. Anything helps
They said “so what you just listen to country roads on repeat”
Being a huge John Denver fan (in my Mount Rushmore), this is my personal favourite cover. It works so well. I also tried to find more info about what John thought about this cover but couldn't find anything. I feel like he would've loved it, though, based on the type of person he seemed to be.
So my buddy just found out that the girl he is in love with is with another guy, he wanted me to give him some good recommendations as he is just getting into the country music genre. I already showed him “That ain’t my truck” and he wants more songs that sound like that, any ideas?
I just recently got into Riley Greens music and was watching the Riley Green & Friends CMT Campfire Sessions and wanted to know who the other singers were in this!
Title. I'm building a British country playlist and was surprised to find artists of this calibre forayed into the genre, so I'm wondering if other well known bands from that era did?
Trying to sift through modern country artists. Looking for more traditional country singers. Alan, george straight, Jones, David Allen Coe. Somebody modern that resembles old school. Please help, I grew up on the old stuff and don’t know anything new!!
I know this sounds crazy but on March 28 Of this year I was on one of the basic country playlists on Spotify, and the first song on the playlist on this day was really enjoyable (went back to listen to it a few times), i made a mental note to save it later on and when i came around to it, i noticed that Spotify updates the playlist.. lol
it was a male singer, it wasn’t too melancholic, obviously singing about a woman, maybe mentioned a mother?
just a shot in the dark :)
Having Not Released An Album Since 2021 And It Being A Older Live Show It’d Seem There Wouldn’t Be A Reason Not To
I’m looking for a song, has very similar intro tune to “In the shadow of the valley” with Bing Nathan and others. Wanna say harmonica? It’s very similar and I cannot find it.
I was wondering if anybody has, or knows where there might be, pictures from the Randy Travis concert in 1997 at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Michigan. My friend was at that concert and fell and broke her wrist, Randy Travis ended up signing the wrap that they put her wrist in (she was 6 years old at the time). I know it’s unlikely to find any pictures from the show, but I figured I would try anyway. Thanks!
So far, in two semesters of guitar lessons, I've learned: Check Yes or No (George Strait), You Should Probably Leave (Chris Stapleton), Wish You Were Here (Pink Floyd), Desperado (Eagles), Landslide (Fleetwood Mac), He Stopped Loving Her Today (George Jones), and I'm currently in the process of learning Rhinestone Cowboy (Glen Campbell). Then, I've learned Let Her Cry (Hootie & The Blowfish) and So Help Me Girl (Joe Diffie) on my own. My instructor mentioned that since I am doing a Glen Campbell song in less than a year of learning, which apparently is a big deal, that I should be able to shoot for more difficult stuff, so I'm wondering if there are any country songs that you guys think I should aim for next year that might prove a bit more challenging, or some that should be easy enough to learn on my own. I'd prefer songs that I can sing, since I know Chet Atkins is seen as the top country guitarist, but I don't believe he sings. Then, I know Steve Wariner is one of Chet's CGPs, so I don’t know if he's a good one to try and take a shot at, whether it's Holes in the Floor of Heaven or Some Fools Never Learn.
For example for Sunday- “What I love about Sunday” by Craig Morgan
Would really love your feedback ...
