Simple cheeseburger on the cast iron pan. Use 80/20 ground beef, threw on some diced onions, lettuce , turkey bacon and Walmarts copycat Big Mac sauce.
This smash burger is from Mess Hall 45 in Fayetteville Arkansas. This one is called the Royale. Very good burger.
Hello- I’ve been cooking for many years. I love to cook meat; brisket, pulled pork, steak, turkey, chicken… all of them. I’m pretty handy in the kitchen. My problem is, I’ve never in 30 years settled on a good burger recipe. I’ve can make a decent burger and everyone seems to enjoy them. I’ve never really blown the doors off with a homemade burger recipe. So let’s hear it, any championship burger recipes out there people can share?
Are they thin patties or thick patties ?!
Who says you can’t BBQ a juicy ground sirloin burger?
The "Golden" burger that won them a ton of awards. There's a whole trophy case dedicated to this guy, and it earned it. Definitely in my top ten, with highest marks going to the incredible quality of the beef.
Been working on my technique, onions are the most important part IMO & trying not to go overboard with cheese
Not the most photogenic but still my fav burgie in the world. Triple graduation from College Dropout - Brunswick (Aus)
Not enough onions left in the house for an Oklahoma, but it was still tasty as hell.
2 Angus Beef patties, guacamole, two strips of bacon, melted Pepper Jack cheese, tomato, onions, Santa Fe Sauce, and just like a whole palm frond of lettuce.
Homemade patties with 50/50 lamb and beef. Caramelized onions under the bottom patty and jalapeños on top.
Wife made her first burger ever (she doesn't eat ground beef) for my birthday the other night. Kinda hard to see but it had guac, onion and jalapeno and was pretty damn good
Cheeseburger I made last night.
