Over 1,000,000 Nevada voters are currently denied the right to vote in closed primary elections. Question 3 would change that, ensuring every Nevada voter can participate in the electoral process at every stage. Nevada voters already approved Question 3 by 53% of the vote in 2022, but it needs to pass again this November to become law.
We're doing ballot curing in NV from today past the election to make sure that every Dem voter's vote is counted. If you have the time, please sign up at this website:

It looks like CD-4 Representative Steve Horsford made the National news. Rep Horsford was recently chosen to head the Congressional Black Caucus in the federal House of Representatives. I like Steve. He definitely leans progressive on many issues although he is more moderate on health care supporting ACA. Anyway here is the article:

Our Governor is threatening to veto the budget because there is too much money in there to help people in Nevada. I guess we weren't able to vote out all the MAGAs in 2022. This is from the NV Dems:
"Corporations are not people. People have hearts, they have kids, they get jobs, they get sick, they cry, they dance. They live, they love, and they die. That matters because we don't run this country for corporations, we run it for people." Elizabeth Warren
It would be nice if we finally taxed corporations in this country, but at least President Biden is proposing an increase in taxes for people with annual incomes over $400,000. It would be nice if this bill also included corporations, since our society effectively treats corporations as equals to people if not better.
If you want to vote Blue down the ballot and you're in one of these battlegrounds (AZ, CA, FL, GA, NV, NC, PA, TX, WI), this website provides Democrat's endorsements down to county races to include judges, school boards and ballot proposals. PLEASE PASS this on to anyone you know who could use it. The battlegrounds will be down to the wire and everyone needs to be out there and voting!

Hey everybody, if anybody is still active on here. I'm doing some organizing with EDF Action, the advocacy arm of the Environmental Defense Fund. The window to get the bold climate investments we need is rapidly closing. The US House Passed a bill that would have invested over half a trillion dollars into clean energy, clean transit, and modernizing the grid, but it is currently stalled out in the Senate. We are doing everything we can to make sure our Senators are hearing from the people, and as part of that effort we just rolled out a new tool to tweet at your Senator! Can folks on this subreddit take just a minute or two out of their day to use it? https://act.edfaction.org/IhDbsXD
I just wanted to let you guys know because I am super excited. Im not sure exactly all of what I will do, and I am more than a little nervous because I have trouble with public speaking, but for Bernie? I will overcome. Anyone have any ideas as to what I will do/ what I should say if I need to give an impromptu speech?
