    Canada Revenue Agency

I received a notice from The Canadian Revenue Agency Not asking for $, but the letter goes on to instruct me how to transfer the payment 🤔

I’m guessing because it’s such a small amount I in fact owe, they are not concerned in collecting it.

Has anyone else received such a letter? Thanks for any feedback!

PS: the wait time when I call is 2 hours🤦‍♀️

    Call to action

Regardless of wherever you stand Politically.

We all face an era of misinformation, manipulation, and division.

    Who benefits from that?

    The very rich!

On all sides of Canada's political situations.

Left, center, right, moderates, seperatists, anarchists, greens and industrialists and probably alot of others I missed.

We all have people of leaders/influence/talking pieces/celebrities/entertainers/ etc. That many have inconsistencies between the actions in their past compared to the hard ideology they currently have or speak for.

As well as doing actions which their own organization, belief or political affiliation is firmly vocally against.

A general feel that the example influential individual(s) has either been bought off, threatened or other ways of controlling said individual and etc.

    All political parties are suspected.

I'm going to say it. We all have to protest, at the same time and together. If you want a better future, where you have an impact and a say.

It does not seem like our votes, and all available traditional pathways of dealing with this is going to work.

Also, we all need to protest. Together. This prevents who ever we are facing to stir up division amongst the protest.

All sides need work and improvement.

It is essential that both left, center and right are protesting together. This causes a scene publicly(news, radio, emergency response, newspaper) that cannot be ignored.

Can we learn from WW2 economic planning to design a Canada that provides for all and is resilient to crisis? Yes!

'Breitbart' and 'The Daily Caller' claim that 5,000 people descended on Canada's Parliament Hill on Saturday to protest Trudeau's progressive policies and to show support for Trump. Ottawa police confirm that there were no more than 100 people present. #FAKENEWS • Crosspost: r/canada

How many folks here are following Ontario politics right now?

What are your thoughts on the road tolls debate? I was disappointed to see the Ontario NDP come out as opposed to the idea before any details have been released. As a Toronto resident, I have at least a basic understanding of the equity issues around the lack of transit for the city's most vulnerable, and how tolls would disproportionally affect economically disadvantaged communities living in the inner suburbs, but I wonder why the NDP isn't pushing the Wynne Liberals to reach an agreement with the city that offers a rebate to low income drivers to make the tolls a progressive rather than regressive tax. Additionally, they should - along with the city's progressive councillors - be more vocal in outlining the municipal and provincial revenue tools necessary to start transforming Canada's largest city into a greener and more equitable place. Why not advocate for a provincial vehicle registration tax with the proceeds placed in a clean transit fund that municipalities can access for building mass transit and electric car infrastructure?

Would it be possible to change the logo?

I love the bird, a very nice resemblance to the recently named new national bird the grey jay, but could we change up the red and white stripes for something else? Maybe realign the bird over a red maple leaf?
