Have time to Canvas 5 Dem Voters?

Indivisible has a tool called Neighbor to Neighbor. When you put in your address, you are provided the names and addresses of 5 people near you who vote Democrat. This program is available in the IL-14 Congressional District and in the following states: AK, AZ, CA, CO, GA, MI, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OR, PA, TX, WA, and WI. I used it and it was great to meet some sane neighbors and give them voting information.
Get your list of neighbors here: https://indivisibleproject.formstack.com/forms/neighbor_to_neighbor

Progressives Running in House Toss Up Races

There are currently 3 Progressive candidates running in Congressional races that have been rated as Toss Up by Cook Reporting (Toss Up means it could go either way). They are 1) Jared Golden running in Maine's CD-2, 2) Angie Craig running in Minnesota's CD-2, and 3) Wiley Nickel running in North Carolina's CD-13. Both Jared's and Angie's races are rated Toss up Leaning Dem. Wiley's race is rated Toss Up Leaning Repug. If you are wondering what politicians you might want to support with your time or money, these 3 would be great choices. Especially exciting would be if Wiley won his race in NC.: in order for the Dems to maintain control of the House, they have to win all their projected Dem Leaning races and in addition, all of their projected Lean Dem Toss Ups (21) and another 4 of Lean Repug Toss Ups. Again, if you are not sure which progressives you might want to support, consider these three. And please get out friends and family in these states to vote for these candidates.

Electoral College Vote Day is a good time to discuss election reform

Over the last few weeks, I have been working on a project involving crunching some data regarding the Electoral College, the popular vote, and racial demographics in our country. I wanted to share my findings and hope that you find them interesting.

Information on the history of the electoral college and why it is not a great system for America: (Imgur link)

TLDR? (Check out my video, instead)

    College Student - Feedback Requested

Hi everyone. I am an adult college student working on my final women’s leadership course before graduating just shy of my 40th birthday.

I am currently working on an action research project:

Should the Electoral College be Abolished?

    An Education and Awareness Campaign

My question for you all, and I hope that you can help me out and respond, is this: What sort of content are you most likely to stop and review when you come across it online, and what are you most likely to just scroll on past? For example, do you really like a Tik-Tok style video with a funny jingle? Do you like memes? What about infographics? Data dashboards? A link to a website with detailed information? A PDF that lays out all the facts like a news article? In short, what grabs your attention – and what doesn’t? YOU are exactly the person who I am trying to communicate with., and I will share my final project here when I am done.

The purpose of my project is simply to educate so that we can all be more informed. Maybe if and when the time comes to consider legal election reform, this information will help someone decide to get involved with the fight.

    Thank you!

Anybody on here trying to sign up for ACA coverage today?

I get to the "pick plans" screen, but...no plans are there. Been like this for over an hour.

List Of North Carolina Progressive Candidates For 2020 Congress

    Spread The Word:

I'm here with a list of candidates to raise attention on their races. I'm only here to help. If this is wrong in anyway to post, I apologize. So, don't only support Bernie Sanders. It'll help if we elect people like him to the two chambers of Congress. I've managed to gather a group of progressives we can help get into Congress. I'll also be adding open seats in case there is interest in the progressive movement to get a candidate to run for that race. Let's support these other populists for House & Senate as well if you can:

    Daniel Ulysses Lockwood - NC-04 https://www.lockwood4nc.com/

    Allen Smith - NC-09 https://www.allenforcongress.com/home

So, maybe everyone & anyone who reads this can not only pass this along to family, friends, & other people, but to the people in charge of Justice Democrats, Our Revolution, Brand New Congress, The PCCC, & anywhere else I'm not thinking of & haven't heard of. If anyone has any candidates running whom are not on this list, let me know. I'll be trying to update this in the middle & at the end of every month, probably until the 2020 elections.
