My name is Ashwani Jain, and I am running for Congress in Maryland’s 6th Congressional District which represents Western Maryland including Northern Montgomery County as well as Frederick, Washington, Allegany, and Garrett Counties.
While I would be Maryland’s first Millennial ever elected to this office, I am specifically running because I have strong policy solutions to open the doors of opportunity for our community.
This is an open seat with no incumbent and Maryland's Primary election is on the 14th of May.
My top policy priorities include:

I put in a suggested endorsement by the Political Revolution of Tom Perez for Governor. Knowing recent history of the Dem National Committee, he is to the right of Keith Ellison who ran against Perez but lost. Checking out his policy positions, he kind of looks progressive. Does anyone have an opinion on this and should the Political Rev endorse him for Governor or someone else? Just thought I'd ask. Thanks!
Please pass this along to family, friends and others you know who vote progressive:

I'm here with a list of candidates to raise attention on their races. I'm only here to help. If this is wrong in anyway to post, I apologize. So, don't only support Bernie Sanders. It'll help if we elect people like him to the two chambers of Congress. I've managed to gather a group of progressives we can help get into Congress. I'll also be adding open seats in case there is interest in the progressive movement to get a candidate to run for that race. Let's support these other progressives for House & Senate as well if you can:

So, maybe everyone & anyone who reads this can not only pass this along to family, friends, & other people, but to the people in charge of Justice Democrats, Our Revolution, Brand New Congress, The PCCC, & anywhere else I'm not thinking of & haven't heard of. If anyone has any candidates running whom are not on this list, let me know. I'll be updating this in the middle & at the end of every month, probably until the 2020 elections.
Just a heads up we've got about 9 Ben Jealous yard signs, as well as our local and up ticket candidates, here at the WCDCC headquarters on 207 S. Potomac St, Hagerstown, MD. We're usually here 1-6pm during the week, so swing by and claim one for yourself. They won't help by just gathering dust.
Update: We'll be at the Wind Down event at Public Square.
