I'm looking for a no-commitment co-op game with proper team work with very specific qualities (please read it all carefully):
I was somewhat enjoying Vermintide 2 but I dislike a few things. It can't be enjoyed from day 1. Even now after over 20hours, I'm nowhere near to unlocking the difficulties after veteran. And in lower difficulties, this game offers no real sense of teamwork. people can run off and do whatever. combat is cheap hack and slash. there is no depth. And I don't really want to grind anymore to get to a difficulty that makes it more methodical. Does Darktide fix any of these issues? If so, I'm open to give that a try
I really liked Titanfall 2 but the online is mostly dead and I can't run the game anymore anyways. I'm not on a platform that supports Helldivers 2 either so can't try that.
Considering all that, do you have any recommendations?
Hi there, We are a team of teachers and coders. We are building the first ever purpose built MMORPG learning game. We think it would work well in your settings and would love your input as we build the game. Please come and have a look at what we are doing and give us your feedback. www.scintilla.ai https://discord.gg/JCNxnzNuyv https://www.facebook.com/share/15nTBbpvkP/ All the best Alan and Ernst
So my son is 9, and I think we've played Minecraft to death since he was 5, and over the Summer we played Terraria until we literally achieved everything.
We tried No Man's Sky, and while we had fun for a while, the limited ability to build one massive base with multiple people seems to have killed his interest after we both got capital ships.
I recently saw Harvest Moon had multiplayer, but it doesn't seem to have crossplay. I'm looking for something that had some type of building and management where my son can build up something while also be able to do some exploring.
I’m the dev that just released my co-op passion project to consoles and Steam! I made it partially for families and couples!

can anyone recommend some local coop game for my laptop? processor: amd ryzen 5 5600H with Radeon Graphics, 8 GB ram
I am looking for something in the same spirit as Metal Gear Solid 5 or the Splinter-Cell series or even the division. Any and all answers are greatly appreciated. God bless.
I’m looking for something similar to No Room in Hell 2. Something where the team starts off separated with no means of communication but everyone is working for a common goal while trying to find each other. It doesn’t necessarily have to be horror themed either.

Hey, I'm building a website where people can find co op games to play with their friends or partner and I've added most of the games that I know are good, but I'm looking to add some more games in there.
Most games that I've played are couch co op with my partner like Baldur's gate 3, It Takes Two, Unravel Two, Cuphead etc.
Also played with my friends when they came over games like Heave Ho (actually I think this is underrated - I played with 4 people) or Castle Crashers.
I would really like to expand the website I'm making and break it into categories like Couch co op for couples or parties, online co op for couples or parties and so on.
If you'd like to check out what I've already added you can check out at topcoopgames
Sorry for the shameless plug, I'm really trying to make a good list of games.
Me and my mom like playing easy fun laid back coop games like guacamelee and castle crashers for example we have a PlayStation and anything under ten usd would be cool thanks!
Me and my friends are 40+ We get to game on Fridays and are always looking for new coop games. We’re burn out on helldivers and aren’t into CoD. Any suggestions are always welcome.
Hey everyone,
I’m looking for some chill gaming friends to play Left 4 Dead 2! With the game being super cheap right now, it’s the perfect time to jump into the zombie apocalypse together. Whether you're a veteran or a newbie, everyone’s welcome!

Hi!
Me and my friend are looking for cozy, snowy winter game. It might be a survival one, but not necessarily.
We were here series was a puzzly one, but it gave a little of this vibe.
Games we looked into:
I know all these games are survival ones, but if you happen to know any other type that matches "cozy" definition, please recommend!
We are leaning towards Icarus I think. The mission based structure with survival elements sounds ultra interesting, because it gives purpose whilist playing on your own.
I'm looking for a 2 players local games for switch/pc to play with my girlfrield.
Here are few we have played already and had much fun:
-Baldurs Gate 3
-Nobody Saves the World
-Stardew Valley
Recently we tried Darksiders Genesis but we both found boring, same for It Takes Two.
TY!!! :)
Bro's girlfriend wants to play with our group of friends (4 people), we didn't want to take her to the league or anything like that. I need recommendations
I see a lot of asks for game recommendations, and not a lot of posts about specific games, so I thought to add one. A couple months ago my partner and I played Bokura. I really enjoyed it and I still find myself thinking about this $4 game all this time later.
It's a lovely two player platformer with fun graphics and good puzzle design. My favorite part is the asymmetrical gameplay, which I thought was implemented beautifully and continued surprising me all throughout the game. The game requires being in a call, and also cannot be played locally (not without reason!).
I found this little aspect really delightful too--Bokura requires verbal communication and yet you constantly find yourself surprised by what you take for granted as common ground. I will say, I did not care for the story too much. It wasn't bad, but it certainly didn't grab me. This is definitely a game about gameplay, not plot.
Highly recommend everyone check it out!
My two brothers and I are looking for a coop game to play, but we're a little bit difficult to satisfy. The eldest doesn't really love twitchy or shooter games, the middle doesn't really enjoy strategy games (RTS, 4X, turn-based RPGs), and I don't really enjoy what I call "chore" games like Raft, Satisfactory, etc. This leaves us with few options and I was wondering whether anybody had a suggestion for something that would be good for us all.
The first game we all played together and loved was Diablo 2. It's been a long time now, so I'm not sure if they'd be into the new Diablo, but that came to mind (though I've pretty much played it to completion, so I'm not overly excited to do it again). The other game that we had a lot of fun with was Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands.
We had some tiny successes with the Total War games and more recently Sons of the Forest. However, neither kept us going for more than 3-4 gaming sessions. The middle brother and I have enjoyed playing Helldivers 2, and he and I previously played a lot of CS, WoW, and Ultima Online back in the day. The eldest brother and I have enjoyed playing the old and new AOE games. But each of those was without the 3rd brother because of a lack of interest.
Other obstacles: the eldest brother also doesn't like games with 'no ending' or 'no direction' in which there is no way to finish it (even though he does like playing AOE multiplayer against computers). The middle brother doesn't like scary games or games with zombies.
So, ideally the game would have action but nothing that's really intense, as well as some semblance of a storyline or direction.
Tough crowd, huh? Based on the above info, does anyone have any recommendations that might be good for all 3 of us?
I'm looking for some games that have alot to grind for but that aren't mmos and also aren't dead when I make post like these people like to suggest games noone knows or is playing
co-op multiplayer game in steam named Roll with friends

Hi, I 59F am trying to arrange to play co-op games with my “Little” (8M) who has had to move out of state temporarily. I found a couple of co-op games (Nobody Saves the world, Untitled Goose Game) that would be good to play together so that we can stay in touch, but need help making it happen.
Can somebody please tell me:
1- is there a world in which we can play together, with him using his PS5 and I can play using an Xbox 360?
2 . If so, how do I go about buying a license for each of us? I assume I would buy through Kinect? I would need to buy my own license and gift his to him.
3 if not, could I set it up so he would play on a PC and me on the Xbox 360? I ask because I almost certainly need a joystick to be anything but annoying to him. Or is my only option for us to be on a PC
Thanks in advance, and sorry if I asked these questions inartfully
Hello fellas,
Laterly been dying for find that one game, that holy thing which will give me a hope to gaming...
I've been playing on and off Oldschool Runescape, shooters, Mobas, WoW, etc etc.
This year i have found out about Valheim, it was really good, but the early game is repepetive as i have created many new world with different co-players.
Never really got into single player games, im sucker for social aspect, and now i dream about some Co-Op games with RPG elements. Diablo is off instantly as i dont understand the 99 and more difficulty levels, changing dificulty mid game, its never fair, always chasing new and better gear every 5 minutes.
I want some slow RPG in which you create your sword, which is meaningful, not some same skinned bs sword which will be changed after few minutes.
Baldurs/Divinity is turned based, never liked them. 2D/2.5D also looks weird, but not telling no to it.
If you have any suggestions, or if you have a group in discord who tries diferent games, please hit me up on Discord "saintborn".
I love the idea of Tiny Glade but I am wondering if there is a similar game that has online coop? Something where you and a partner can both asynchronously work on a beautiful little cottage or something. Please let me know if anyone's heard of anything like this.
