No disrespect to Colin but I think Maozinha Pereira deserves it more. We all saw what Mao can do in the preseason yet what’s the point of grizzlies signing Castleton for?
At least they have a good sense of humor about it lmao.
Not gonna lie, I’m not much of a sports person, I’d root for teams but not really invested in the game.
That being said, I suddenly found interest in college ball when one of my old friends from work told me that a woman who I used to work with for 10+ years had a son playing D1 basketball, that woman’s name is Julia Edey.
From then on I watched all the Purdue games, even had the chance to watch a couple in person.
When Zach was drafted to Memphis I was skeptical of how he would do in a small market. But I joined this sub and I was blown away.
Not only was the support people here showed for Zach amazing but getting to know the other players though the conversations here was eye opening.
I’ve watched every game so far and I feel like I’ve been a fan for years. Not only is the taken on the starting line solid but the bench is deep.
I still live in Canada but I’m moving to the US soon and plan on cheering on the grizzlies in person every time they are in town.
At first I was only invested in watching Zach, after coming here I’m invested in the team.
Thanks.
I’ve been edging this whole game and I need this clip to complete my masterpiece

### Game Highlights |
Is your team due for another throwback anytime soon for the Vancouver grizzlies jersey? I want one for Edey but all I’m seeing is Morant and Bane on real sports.
Last years team list in Portland with a healthy des smart and jaren
Anyone know where I can get my hands on one of the sick slate grey Vancouver hoodies that Smart has on tonight? Same one Des had on when he bombed Pippen's interview after the Lakers game?

LEGGGGGGGOOOOO
Ja bane, ja bane
without 2 of our 3 rotation PG's does Jenkins play awful PG by committee lineups like last night, or does he add Yuki to the rotation for the short term?
gonna need a multiple game answer on this cause smart and 12 are gonna be out for a minute now
Pictured is the list of 5-game (or longer) streaks in NBA history posted by rookies with at least 8 pts. and 7 reb. on 55% FG shooting, sorted by who committed the fewest personal fouls during that span.
While this particular criteria does not sound very impressive, as you can see, Zach Edey is among only 22 rookies to ever pull it off—and he has done so within just the first 10 games of his career while playing the fewest minutes of anyone on the list.
Karl Anthony-Towns and Edey are the only players on this list who also hit a three-pointer. Both guys made two, but Edey did so on 66.7% 3-pt. shooting during the span vs. KAT's 40%.
As well, Edey was given just the second fewest number of free throw attempts of anyone on the list, likely also because he accomplished this streak with the fewest 2-point attempts of anyone on the list thanks to Memphis' tendency to distribute scoring attempts to whomever is most open rather than forcing the ball through a designated guy.
This is a result of Memphis' genius offensive coach Tuomas Iisalo's innovative motion offense, which currently has the Grizz leading the NBA in Offensive Rating. This production has helped Edey to achieve the second-highest +/- score on this list (note that +/- only started being tracked in 1997, so it's only applicable to 15 streaks on the list).
If you told anyone a month ago that Memphis would by now lead Golden State, Dallas, Boston, Phoenix, and Cleveland in offense rating, while starting Zach Edey posting historical numbers, having undrafted journeyman Huff come off the bench averaging 10 points, and playing largely without four of its shooting guards including Bane and Smart, then sustain this performance after losing Ja to injury, then you would have been put in a straight jacket and taken away in a padded van.
Did I hear that right? Sarr leads the league in blocks? I suppose that holds no fear for a guy that has to go against Edey every practice.
