We might be cursed tho cause both weeks we got ranked in the top 25 we lost the next week
I’m the son of a former University employee (mom just retired after 34 years). I went down the rabbit hole with some trivia and saw that if you became a student in 1999-00 at the University of Memphis and stayed four years you saw either a tournament berth or a bowl berth or both.
1999-03 (1 NCAA berth) 2000-04 (2 NCAA berth, 1 bowl appearance) 2001-05 (2 NCAA berths, 2 bowls) 2002-06. (3 NCAAs 3 bowls) 2003-07 (3 NCAAs 3 Bowls) 2004-08 (3 NCAAs 2 Bowls) 2005-09 (4 NCAAs, 2 bowls) 2006-10 (3 NCAAs, 2 bowls) 2007-11 (1 bowl, 3 NCAAs) 2008-12 (3 NCAAs) 2009-13 (3 NCAAs) 2010-14 (4 NCAAs) 2011-15 (3 NCAAs, 1 bowl) 2012-16 (2 NCAAs, 3 bowls) 2013-17 (1 NCAA, 4 bowls) 2014-18 (4 bowls) 2015-19 (4 bowls) 2016-20 (4 bowls) 2017-21 (4 bowls) 2018-22 (4 bowls, 1 NCAA bid) 2019-23 (4 bowls, 2 NCAA bids) 2020-24 (2 NCAAs, 4 bowls) 2021-25 (2 NCAAs, 4 bowls)
The last senior class at Memphis to not experience one of these or both? The class of 2002.
My Predictions -->
1.) 21 2.) 16 3.) 9
This game will also be considered a road game for memphis since Uconn is ranked higher!
Does anyone know if they’re going to do new episodes on Apple podcast again? I really want some variety of Memphis sports that’s not just the local talk shows (as much as I like Geoff and everyone). GTG
Finally getting a real blowout after weeks of meh
An episode of the 901 Soccer Podcast for Bluff City Media in which we discussed how O believe college soccer, especially in Memphis with the Tigers, to get non-soccer people into soccer.
Am I crazy?
