Rules and Reminders

Hey y’all this subreddit is meant to be a place to not only vent and discuss what’s going on in Memphis public education, but also a place where we can bounce new ideas and try to get traction behind the change we all want.
That being said let’s lay some basic ground rules and reminders.
Basic rules (subject to change at any time):

  1. You’re mama taught you “if you don’t have something nice to say don’t say anything” don’t break mama’s heart.
  2. Zero tolerance for racist, sexist, homophobic content/comments.
  3. If you know someone on here who is trying to be anonymous DO NOT break that anonymity.
  4. Come with ideas not judgement.

Basic reminders:

  1. Reddit can be anonymous if you play your cards right. Don’t put identifying info out if you don’t want to be tied to something.
  2. This subreddit is restricted. Meaning anyone can see/post/vote, but post and comments will be moderated to keep spam down.
  3. Remember anyone can see this. Moderators aren’t liable if someone screenshots your post/comment and it has your name/photo attached (see reminder 1 as well on this)
