I’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant because of their damn good roast duck. But ever since the Lahaina Fire I wonder if they moved somewhere? or totally closed? Gonna visit the island soon and hopefully someone points me to their new location or a place with good chinese roast duck?

We've been getting some wild chicken eggs, but apparently a mongoose has found their nesting spots. We had found three active nests. I marked a few eggs to let them keep a few and was taking all the freshly laid eggs. In the past couple days all the eggs from two of the nests are gone.

I built a nesting box (which they haven't used yet) but I'm wondering if I could put it high enough a mongoose couldn't jump up into it? I wonder if that would be too high for the chickens to use it?

Please help! I'm worried about our egg supply and the mental health of Pamela Henderson, Henelope Cruz, and Oprah Wingfree!

Thing that kills my soul is a congested commute (residency in LA aeons ago, still makes me shudder - was in my car 2 hours a day and “lucky”).

There used to be an Uku clinic based in Kihei. Then, they moved to a mobile service. And, I have to say it was AMAZING. Used them a couple of times and was super thrilled. Now, my daughter came home with Uku’s from school. Does anybody know what happened to the clinic? They appear to be closed, no longer on the Lice Clinics web page. I thought the lady was based in Wailuku, but maybe they were impacted by the fire? I guess my question is, does anybody know if she is still on the island and maybe freelancing? Or if there is another option?

They have very neatly:

(A) Boxed the County in;

(B) Made the County the weaker party;

(C) Put the County at risk of looking uncaring, irresponsible, and financially unfit if they refuse;

(D) Put the County at risk of looking totally incompetent if they refuse;

(E) Put the County at fault for any more delays and extra cost to move the debris from Olowalu;

(F) Made some of the Council members look really, really bad.

Just my opinion..........I think this was beautifully played by Komar. LOL to Bissen, the Council, the State, and Corp Counsel.
