Hi everyone! I've been researching and planning out the roadmap for mods on my 2024 Honda CRF300L. Suspension was my #1 priority, and I’ve already purchased the CRF’s Only Pro Suspension Package (front and rear with RaceTech Gold Valve kit), which is pending installation.
Here’s the full list of mods I’ve lined up across different categories. I’d love your feedback—would you opt for anything different or suggest other options?
Let me know if there’s anything you think I should reconsider or prioritize differently!

I have had my xt600e for a couple of months now, and it being my first motorcycle with spoked wheels, I need some advice. The rear wheel looks pretty much straight vertically and horizontally, but a lot of the spokes don’t make that “Pling” sound when hit with a screwdriver. Should I bother fixing this? All the spokes feel tight and secure when I press/try to bend them
Not much of a ride but still worth it. It’s like skating on ice.
Guys it's about how we are filtering traffic in İstanbul. It's not legal but acceptable
I was looking for some shin / knee protection for my dual sport rides to put under my mx style trousers. I've seen some protectors like the O'Neal Pumpgun which have three straps to stay in place, and for example the O'Neal Pro III which have only two leaving the kneecap piece free.
Now, I know from my skating days that these type of protectors tend to move and they don't stay in place. Of course movement on a motorcycle is not the same as skating, but this made me wonder if knee / shin guards with two straps stay in place under the trousers the same as the ones with three straps. Any personal experience?
Thanks!
This might be a dumb question, but I'm about to change my XT250's tires for the first time. I was thinking about changing them after I do the winter oil change, but since the bike will be winterized soon, is there a reason I should wait until spring to put the new tires on?
edit; thank you, everyone!
I jusr sold my 04 TTR-225 because I needed somthin a little bigger, are there any name brand dual sports I could get?
Kids pissed me off. I left to go get a soda at the gas station. 50 miles, 1.75 hours later I was home. Got side tracked, forgot all about the soda.
which is better for beginners the tenirë 700 or the klr 650?
I got about 5K.. what's something street legal with some get up
Beta 390 RR-S continues to be a champ
I want to get a dual sport bike for riding on the freeway and dirt biking, would I need/recommend to get separate gear for them?
I had a flat tire on my 2022 klx300.
I got the tube replaced, greased the axle and spacer.
I have the four pinch bolts loose and torqued the axle nut to 65 psi as per specs.
The front tire maybe goes 1/4 rotation.
Any suggestions?
I’m stuck in between two bikes and I came here to see opinions I’m either planning on purchasing a wr250r or a Ktm350 excf I know two drastically different bikes but my thought process is I’m doing 70% street riding and 30% open trail riding obviously with that much street riding the wr is the better choice but when I do go trail riding I want that power and to keep up with my buddies who own faster bikes that’s why I’m thinking of the ktm if yall were in my shoes which one would you get? (Note: 6,1,220 and I don’t care about maintenance just need something street legal)
I found a good deal on a 2023 wr450f. I’m looking for an enduro/trail bike that will only be on the road for short transfers.
I was originally going with a Ktm 350 exc-f but I prefer the reliability of Japanese brands.
How do the two compare and is the Yamaha good for my intended purposes?

How do I register a 1975 Honda CB550 in CA with just a bill of sale? It’s never been street legal, no pink slip.
I’ve been riding my 1985 Honda Elite 150 down forest roads and want to level up a bike that’s made foe that, but feeling like I want to baby step it up as a new rider. Thoughts on this 1986 Honda TLR 200 Reflex? Is 200 just too small (barely a jump from 150)? They’re asking $2600.
I'm looking to buy a used DR650 and found what looks like is a good one on Facebook Marketplace. This will be my first bike, so any advice from seasoned riders would be incredibly helpful! Is the age of the bike and the miles worth the price? Details are below:
2002 Suzuki dr
$3,000 OBO
Driven 9,800 miles
"2002 Suzuki dr 650cc enduro, it is road legal and highway capable. has new exhaust, recent oil change, tires with good life, runs and drives great. Recently wrapped it black but underneath is still oem blue as shown in pictures."
