I get 3 of this idiot's fliers a week. I'm getting really sick of going from the mailbox straight over to the dumpster. I've tried reaching out to his campaign, and I'm even considering cancelling my voter registration so I won't be on the list next time around. Any creative ideas?

Hey Connecticuters! I think something kind of illegal just happened to me but I don't have the confidence or legal expertise to know whether it's worth pursuing. My car was towed from outside my own apartment because there was a party next door and the property manager called a towing agency to get rid of everyone's cars (I was not involved in the party, but happened to be without a parking sticker). I had just moved in and hadn't been given a parking sticker, told they were required at any point during the move in process, or given a way to obtain one. The towing representative demanded $160 in cash on the spot and when I floundered, he drove off :( I called them this morning and they said it's $160, but I've read the maximum rate for a nonconsensual tow is $125 plus $15 per mile beyond two miles. Their location is 4.7 miles from me, so that comes out to $140, not $160. They are also demanding I pay in cash only. I feel like this runs afoul of something but to be totally honest I've been too busy crying my eyes out. I had no way to know I was doing anything wrong and they yelled at me in person and over the phone :( I managed to borrow money from my family but is there any recourse here? It's okay if not, I just wanted to do my due diligence 🫶

I hear that Salem in Mass. is always crowded and packed and it's loud and creepy. Salem, in our state, seems somewhat New Englandy and very peaceful. We bet kids will have a good time trick or treating in Salem with barely annoying noises coming from the other Salem.

I am currently looking for another job, as the place I am working at currently has awful leadership and extremely outdated hazardous machinery. If I give my boss two weeks notice, I can almost guarantee he will be vindictive and fire me. If I am fired after giving two weeks notice, and my new job can’t take me in yet, am I eligible for unemployment? Need to add a name to my registration/title. Main person’s name who is already on the registration cannot go to the DMV. My question is do I need a power of attorney form for that main person or is a copy of their license sufficient? They have already signed the application for joint title and registration. Website is confusing says that photocopies are accepted. Does back of title need to be filled out? Again, no sale of car, adding another name to the current registration for passenger car. Ty
