Hi all! Looking for a stylish overcoat like the following: https://gioluciano.com/collections/mentops/products/massimo-adriano-trench-coat?variant=54853084807548
I’m worried that the one I found online won’t last long, and I’m looking for a high quality alternative. Shipping to Aus would be preferable.
Not exciting or glamorous, but very practical. Our grandkids will still be using these garbage cans long after we're gone.
I have an HP printer (all-in-one) that takes HP67 ink cartridges (black and color). The printer surprisingly is still working just fine five years later (shocking, I know), but the ink cartridges suck, despite the fact that I print very rarely. Everybody knows that brand name ink cartridges are a scam. Has anyone found a reliable alternative?
Anthropology has some really unique pieces, I love a lot of their clothes, home decor and accessories but the prices are way too high for how low the quality and reviews seem to be. I’m curious if any of you have suggestions of places where I can BFL beautiful and fun pieces that fit the anthro vibe. I know nudes, whites and blacks are classic and I’m sure good quality sellers focus on this primarily but I’m hoping someone can point me to some BFL clothes/accessories/decor that are fun, whimsical and ofc, great quality.
Have a 2 car detached garage that needs a long lasting dehumidifier. Already has a French drain in place but still has condensation and will need a formal dehumidifier. Anything I could buy that would last 8-10 years regularly? It’s not a huge space, 2 car garage that’s a bit bigger than the standard 2 car garage size.
My dad has been bass fishing a lot lately with my uncles, and he is VERY cheap so he keeps getting cheap Frog Toggs that tear on him immediately.
For his birthday, the wife and I are wanting to get him a good set that'll keep him warm and dry when they're going 60mph down the lake.
I'd prefer something that's a little light itself, but has room for warmer clothes underneath since they fish in any weather short of pure freezing.
Also, my concern with bibs are the same as with waders; I'd worry about them filling with water and holding him down. He's not the most graceful person, so it's not unheard of for him to wind up taking a swim lol.
This is the first 'set' me and my husband will buy. I do want some quality so I ll try to pick porcelain because stoneware doesn't work for me. We like modern modern and dark dinnerware in general or unique in other aspects.
And that's the main problem, we like many different designs and it's difficult to decide in one set. My question is should I buy a cohesive set or mismatched plates? I even thought of buying different ones in general but in pairs of 2 as we are only the two of us in the house.
We almost never have guests or make dinner for lots of people so I don't feel the need for a strict set. Can I have your opinions on that?
So I got this trash can thinking that it was the locking trash can but it was not. However it still worked out for me.
I got my trash can from Marshalls, so it was discounted.
Let me tell you this is the trash can. I have a medical alert dog for seizures, and when he is unvested he's still a service dog just with freedom. This dog has been able to figure out lazy Susan cabinets to steal dog treats.
I had issues with him knocking over trash cans in the past, and frankly this is the only trash can that he hasn't done it with. I am actually shocked.
I filled this trash can with all of the gross nasty things that he just loves to get into. Old rotisserie chicken. Old pasta. Whatever He usually gets into. Of course nothing that could cause harm.
And that trash can remained untouched for 3 days. Because that's all I was going to allow for myself. And in those three days that trash slowly began building up a smell, but surprisingly I didn't smell it until I opened up the trash can itself. So it definitely traps in smells so you don't smell them.
I now have three of these trash cans 🤣🫣 10/10
All in the title , if you know thanks a lot.
I love flannel shirts and bought one from LL Bean a few years ago (scotch plaid relaxed fit, black watch color). I like a lot of men's flannel designs and love how LL bean has the same design for women. Uniqlo used to do the same but lately they just have unisex flannels which fit me horribly. Are there any other brands in 2025 that you've bought flannels from that fit women normally? As in not overly tight, midweight fabric that's not super thin, and isn't super long (boyfriend style) or super short? I work outdoors with horses, like to camp and fish, and would like a flannel that won't hinder my movements as much with tight shoulders.
Anyone able to recommend a good quality dinner plate that is reasonably priced, likely to be available long term for replacements too in the UK?
I currently have a Royal Stafford Lincoln 10 inch plate, also using 6.5 inch bowls which I would appreciate recommendations too.
I have two of the Filson short lined cruiser, black and olive. Wear the olive almost daily December through March. Black one shows lint too much.
I'm short at 5'6 and 175lbs (hoping to drop another 15lbs). Jackets that stop at my waist look the best.
Is there a waxed jacket that is the same length of the Filson? Read the Filnt and Tinder is longer. Don't know about other brands.
I want a tan waxed canvas jacket.
I’ve literally worn these darn tough socks for not even half a day and it looks like they’re already fraying a lot???
Guys, I have bought these wireless earbuds (JBL115tws) in June 2021 in Dubai’s airport for around 80$ at the time, I have used them everyday (and I mean everyday) for around 1h to 3h, and they’re still running like new, sound quality is the same, battery still holds perfectly.. the only issue is the small tear that you can see in the left one. Other than, I freaking love them!
Years ago my sister bought me the most amazing turkish towel, I think from TJMaxx. It is actually woven with thicker threads so when you use it, it absorbs a lot of water while still being quick drying. For years I’ve searched for more of these towels but I cant find anything like it. Anything I order is thin and snags easy. The typical turkish towel you find does not feel high quality. Anybody have a turkish towel like this and know where to find it? Its driving me nuts that I cant get more. I was even in a turkish towel store once in Santa Marta and they had nothing like it
Hi everyone,
I am in the market for some BIFL luggage. I came across some options made by Filson. I don't have any experience with the brand. For example, I am curious about the Surveyor Pullman and the Surveyor 36L Backpack. I like the aesthetic. But, how are they in terms of build quality? Any red flags? Would you recommend a different brand?
Thank you
A timely reminder that this subreddit is obviously very USA-centric with its recommendations as that’s where the majority of users are from. It often leads to people not realising that comparable and/or better items can be found closer to home, easier, cheaper and free of tolls.
I thought it would be a good idea to crowdsource some manufacturers here for non-American users.
This isn't neccesarily items made in those countries as some manufacturers use factories across the world but with a commitment to quality
I can start (I'm kind of UK/Euro centric so it would be great to expand this):

Edit - Some excellent feedback. I'll try and work my way through and add what I can!
I'm in my early twenties and have bought exactly one belt ever. It was a cheap and crappy affair and I don't want to repeat that mistake. Aside from that one, every belt I've worn was either borrowed or a gift.
In case it's important, I have a 36-38in waist.
On the aesthetics side, something simple and basic - preferably black.
Thanks in advance!
I got an electric standing desk from Amazon a year ago for upgrading my home office. now this thing is fantastic from a functional standpoint.
But my biggest issue esp for the price is the desktop material. REAL BAD WOOD. I use my desk all day for work (WFH) and every night for gaming, and my wrist is taking a beating. The edge has worn down so much that it’s almost sharp. For what I paid, this is a huge letdown.
I'm so done with flimsy surfaces. looking for something solid and built to last . Anyone trying on a combine both solid mechanics and durable surface? would love to hear your recs. thanks in advance!
Hello, I'm looking for a pair of high quality slippers made in Japan, something like this: https://www.nakagawa-masashichi.jp/shop/g/g4547639773814/. I'm looking for this type of open-back slipper.
What I'm wonder is if there are better and higher quality options? If it's available to buy in the EU, even better, but I can import from Japan if required.
Thank you
Title says it all. Looking for brow and/or first aid tweezers that are actually sharp and can get the job done without becoming super dull after a short amount of time.
Anyone have the urban barn mila sectional or know how it is? Im looking at buying it but would like to hear a oit longevity of the couch and ease of cleaning. Or hsve any other suggestions? Willing to pay up to 6-7grand but want something that will last and be easy to clean Thank you!
I recently found out about layering for cold/windy weather and Im wondering what my options are, in terms of articles of clothing, for commuting on public transportation and/or walking?
Based on what Ive learned, theres a
Am I missing anything?
Is there clothing for dry weather? If so, what are the article(s) of clothes called?
So I am not 100% sure what the exact name of what I want is, I see it listed as a spatula sometimes, sometimes a turner.
I just need something for browning ground meat (turkey if that matters). I am using cast iron now (was using non-stick before) and I am concerned about my nylon/silicone utensils flaking off while cooking. So I am looking for a heavy duty stainless steel or wood turner/spatula, is there a different name for this utensil? I am open to anything that gets the job done, I have just always used this style, I have a faberware nylon one that feels more solid than this stainless steel one I bought, but trying to get away from plastic with the cast iron.
Thanks
I travel for work and am always staying in hotels so I’m looking for a high quality sound machine that will not take up a lot of room in my suitcase.
I had a cheap small sound machine before that worked okay. The sound quality wasn’t the greatest and it ended up breaking
