80's music!!

Learned about the passing of someone who was in school with me last evening. Never knew her very well, but it’s deeply distressing because she left so young.
No drinks to drown the pain, here’s what I seek solace through.
Quite honestly, one of the most exemplary records from across the 80s. A truly pioneering album, whose influence can be heard in the music of so many artists that followed.
I personally don’t think there is a single track on this record which would objectively qualify as “mediocre”. I mean you seldom come across an album where you wouldn’t skip anything that came up.
This is peak 80s, a perfect album through and through. Is there any album that comes close to this in the sophisti-pop repertoire?
Are there some 80s videos you love, but wouldn't normally listen to the song by itself? For me, that includes:
Hyperactive by Thomas Dolby
Sat in your lap by Kate Bush
Wot by Captain Sensible
Paranoimia by Art of noise (+ Max Headroom)
1987 Billboard Album Rock Tracks - Spotify Playlist of all songs that charted and peaked in 1987 on the Billboard album rock track chart. 270 songs peaked that year, and all but 14 are on spotify. Songs ranked using the ranking system in Joel Whitburn's Rock Tracks books.

Enjoy! Have a few ideas what to do next after the 80s run... I can either jump to the 90s.... or I can do a "bonus" playlist for each year (songs that hit alternative radio, MTV, Radio and Records or FMBQ charts)... or I can go back and do 70s/60s playlists based on classic rock airplay and the list of songs in Whitburns last Rock Tracks book. Would love feedback!
Happy Halloween 👻🎃 everyone 🥳🍷
