Sneaking Into Concerts

I know most all shows depending on the part of town you were in were mostly segregated…. Questions for the White Teens of the 1950s & early 60s… did you guys ever sneak into Black concert halls OR Bars OR Juke joints to see a show OR musician that was playing not caring about color because music was music….. if so what Artist was playing & where??

Why do they act like the 50s was all just doo-wop and rock n roll?

It's like every time someone outside the 50s music community hears "1950s music," they think we’re all just slow dancing to "Earth Angel" and nothing else. Meanwhile, we’ve got an entire treasure chest of genres, deep cuts, and jams! Come on, people, give us some credit - we weren’t all in sock hops. #WeAreMoreThanDooWop

What’s the FOURTH biggest Everly Brothers song?

What’s the FOURTH best/well known Everly Brothers song?

Hi there 60s fans. I am looking for some advice.

My Simon And Garfunkel tribute show ‘Feelin Groovy’ is doing a gig where the promoter is needing us to do a 4 song Everly Brothers set. I think, without question, the three most popular Everly brothers songs would be: All I Have To Do Is Dream, Wake Up Little Suzie and Bye Bye Love.

What should the last song be?? I’m 29 and wasn’t around at that time. What’s the next biggest song that Everly fans want to hear??

Keep-a-knockin is their next most streamed song on Spotify and although I like it, it’s not iconically an Everly original (it’s a Little Richard song). I’ve even asked chat GPT and they suggest Cathy’s Clown as a popular song, however I don’t like it as much. But if the Everly fans expect that song we will do it!
