Help trying to remember an alt. rock or post grunge song from 1990s

I will be posting this to tip of my tongue as well, but I woke up with a bit of a song in my head, for the life of me, cannot find the song.

What I have tried:

Lyric search on different search engines has resulted nothing helpful. I tried humming into soundhound , but it couldn't find anything with the chorus or the different bit of music described below. I also tried chatGPT and had a long conversation with that machine, but it just kept making up songs called "spiritual solution" by bands that definitely didn't have songs called "spiritual solution". I have pretty much run out of friends to ask, so now I am stuck.

Context:

  • I would have heard this song back in the 1990s in Canada, so it is possible it could be a Canadian band, but not necessarily.
  • It is very likely from around or before 1995, but could be a little after. It's sound is alt rock / post grunge, with what I would describe as hints of either "dark" new wave or potentially a bit of a "dark" britpop sound.

The song:

  • The lyrics I can remember come from the chorus. It's something like "time for a new revolution, a spiritual solution" or something along those lines... I feel pretty confident about the word spiritual, and about 90% on revolution, but the rest could just be me mis-hearing or mis-remembering.
  • The music is pretty sparse with a 4/4 beat. It has a stomp clap, stomp clap driving its beat. There isn't much guitar from what I can remember but there may have been a bass guitar or a synth playing bass in there.
  • It is a guy singing. I would say he has a lower tenor/baritone voice. He's singing fairly quietly, not particularly dynamically. There are some background vocals that repeat the words "spiritual [solution]"
  • There's also a bit of music at the beginning of the song and I believe it repeats after the bridge. This interlude/intro sounds completely different from the rest of the song. This part has some melodic similarities to "Smoke on the Water" (the first 2 or 3 notes) before it deviates. See edit for a bad piano attempt of this melody bit

Does this ring any bells for anyone?

I am unfortunately not in a place where I can record myself, but I took a quick break and recorded a very bad piano melody of the first bit as I remember it. After this part it's much harder to hum/sing.

edit 2: I ended up finding the song. It's Spiritual Pollution by Pure
