This cover and more, along with originals are up on my YouTube channel now. Thanks for taking the time to listen!
Here’s my cover of Eric Clapton’s iconic song “Tears in Heaven” that I learned a long time ago but frankly could do better if being on camera didn’t make me nervous. I admit: I played it too fast and messed up a lyric and maybe even wrapped it up too quickly. My goal is to build up the nerve to play at my mother’s senior residence. FWIW I’ve know this song since it was new and have had to “re-remember” it a couple of times, so I doubt I could play it note for note. I am also patting myself on the back for getting through the flub without stopping or losing my composure.
PS: the guitar is a 2006 Larrivee OM-03R with medium gauge D’Addorio phosphor bronze strings played with bare fingers.
