Who's Been Sleeping in My Brain
This is a sub for anything related to Gothic Punk, Gothic Rock, Gothic Metal and anything else in the Batcave scene. There is no need for genre eugenics, elitism, or any of the such here: if you think it belongs, post it! If you don't agree, just let 'em know, no need to be an asshole.

First, I want to preface this post by pointing out that I'm not a metalhead, but a goth. My favorite genres are post-punk, goth rock, darkwave and ethereal wave (as people may notice when looking at my posts in my reddit history). However, I like some metal genres like gothic metal and atmospheric black metal.
Talking about Gothic metal specifically, I'm really fan of "goth-friendly" gothic metal songs that incorporate massive elements of 80s-90s post-punk/ goth rock. As a reference, 90s gothic metal songs like "Eternity (Pt 1) and" Sleepless" by Anathema, "Scarlet Heavens" by Katatonia, "Poppaea" and "Cassandra" by Theatre Of Tragedy and "Carnival of Souls" by Saviour Machine are some songs that illustrate what I'm looking for and I would like Gothic metal songs or eventually goth songs by metal bands that come close to the songs I've mentioned, if there are any.
