Good day. We are looking to replace our aging 2007 pontiac suv. We've been looking at some 2024 suv models with low milage and a price cap of 40k. So yesterday, after looking at a disappointing ford escape, we saw in the show room a gorgeous 2020 qx60 lux, 40000 miles, 70000 kms, in really nice shape. Black on beige. Price is around 25k. The 4 year warranty is over, but the balance of the power train warranty is still there. So, fellow infinity owners, is this something to look at seriously? Can I purchase a genuine infinity extended warranty being that the power train warranty is still in force? I realize that even a new car warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on and the dealer/manufacturer will find any excuse not to pay or repair. Thanks for reading.
I have spent over $2000 trying to get rid of this 02 range performance code on my 2012 FX35 (w/96K miles)
No matter what my shop has tried, they have not been able to get rid of this code (so I haven’t been able to sell the car as planned).
The tech says I may need to have them to take off the top of the engine and replace the intake manifold gasket because maybe it’s a vacuum leak.
But from what I’ve heard this code is not usually associated with intake vacuum.
Any ideas would be welcome.
Hey how’s it going guys. I changed the break pads on my 2019 Infiniti q50s and it’s Been 2 weeks and they squeak really bad. Could anyone help me out with this one. Not sure if I install them bad I put a picture of the bracket because someone said that might be the issue.
I have a 2013 JX35 & the heated/cooled seat on the driver side doesn’t work it in either position, the light will flash but nothing comes on. Could this just be a bad switch or something else?
3.7l Q50 100k+ miles
As the title says, I'm interested in looking for a Q50 3.7l which I've heard is more reliable than the 3.0l. The area I live in (Boston) 3.7 q50 are going for around $11k-$13k (which is my budget) and they're all at around 105k-125k miles. Did some research and seen that the vq engines are reliable even after 100k. And if there's anything I should lookout for. Just wanted some thoughts on whether i should go and pull the trigger.
Live in a state that doesn’t have any emission regs. Are there any bolt on test pipe kits that would be compatible with the QX50 model? I’m seeing a few for the 370z.
Titles explains it pretty well, car is clean, owner claims it has never been modified.
Should I get it?
We just got a used 2017 and with the captains chairs it's harder to outfit that our previous SUV. Don't want fabric as that wouldn't be safe if we were to be in an accident, his weight would propel in through that into the front of the car. I don't see anything specifically made FOR the QX80 but am I missing something? Recommendations and links appreciated!
I am in the market for a g37xS (hopefully model year 2013), but the market is filled with the regular x variants and not the xS. Why do you guys think so?
Anyone know how good the RWD system is in the snow with winter tires ?
I have a 2008 g35x, my whole entire car has been shaking for a couple of months now - so i figured “balance and alignment…” but my steering wheel wasn’t shaking….its the WHOLE entire car and feels like my wheels are going to fly off. anywho, went and got that done today.. and it’s even worse…i’ve changed my wheel bearings a few months ago, brakes and everything are good… so i don’t think it’s any of that… once i feel my car start to viscously shake on the highway, all the cars behind me slam on their brakes and are like 200 feet behind me….would anybody know what is going on ? or an idea because im terrified to drive my car.
Car has a lot of new parts on it, swapped engine with 152,000 miles. Q50 rims on and aftermarket suspension & control arms just a lot more to it as you can see.
My wife just picked up this vehicle and immediately on the phone with me the call quality is jumping around from perfectly fine to horrible. It sounds to me like the voice isolation is going in and out. Sounds like her phone is under the vehicle. That is how much background noise and I can hear an echo from my voice, not hers. It is very intermittent from totally fine to hot mess.
Updated iOS on iPhone 14 using CarPlay. Have not tried outside of CarPlay yet.
Anyone else experience this? Is there a solution or improvement for it?

I’m thinking about buying a 2016 q70s 5.6 and was wondering if a v6 q70 exhaust like the zen rage one would fit it or if any m37/56 exhaust would fit. I’d also like some recommendations on some other electronically controlled exhaust systems.
Hey everyone!
I bought a 2008 g37s a few months back and had some idling issues and I was able to boil the issue down to it being a bad ignition coil. I have seen some mixed opinions about whether to buy it from Infiniti, Denso or Hitachi. I ended up settling on Denso but now I am having second thoughts. I only bought one to just replace the one that was giving me issues but should I replace all 6? I can only afford to replace one at the moment but will wait and save up to buy all 6 if this is a the safest option.
Also was Denso a good option? I am new to working on cars and would really appreciate some feedback/advice!
I bought this Denso coil from rockauto
Hello, I am new to the infiniti plug and will soon be doing my first transmission and differential fluid/oil checks of my life. Looking at the service manual and other guides, I need to replace the washers/gaskets that go behind the plugs. Are these standard parts or do I need to find specific ones? All I can find is OEM washers from the likes of z1 motorsports or infinitipartsonline, but I would like to get these washers sooner rather than later. Am I missing something?
