First time changing oil trying to see what filter is good?

Hi guys. Trying to be more familiar with my machine. Stock, what does the NISMO edition come with? Specifically, what LSD, type of exhaust and type of suspension system? I am not sure if mine came with a viscous or clutch LSD and not sure what kind of tune the exhaust is. Thank you.

Also, what is a good way to change engine mounts? Last time I changed on my old 350Z, I bent my oil pan. Used a 2x4 on jack.

I got the code p2099 and I’ve replaced the downstream O2 sensors. Could it be the exhaust or the upstream O2 sensors?

My clutch after 10 min drive of no shifting my pedal begins to have a lot of free play. Gears feel the same shifts the same just the clutch feels different. I thought it was the CSC but a lot of people also say the CMC and I’m not sure either of them will work. I’ve already bled the clutch and helped but didn’t fix the issue. Thanks 🙏!!!

Hey yall Ive recently paid off my daily (2014 Lexus es350)and set some money aside and I’m currently looking for a 370z Ideally 2013 and up and maybe a nismo as I love the look. What are some things I should be looking out for? and what should I be paying?

Been racking up mileage on the Z so I’ve been thinking of getting another daily and make the Z a weekend car so what are your other vehicles in the fleet and why do you like driving them?

I have a 2017 completely stock base coupe manual with 26k miles.

Very dumb question but I put cats on my 370 a week ago but I was told from the seller of my Z that these were test pipes but I believe that these are down pipes?

I'm having some vibration in my steering wheel when heavy braking in my 2019 370z NISMO. Especially if I am on a terrible road. In neutral it doesn't vibrate as bad, but in gear it will be more noticeable.

I have changed the rotors, pads, tires, and brake fluid. Bedded in the brakes. I don't think it's as bad as before but I need to do more driving to be sure.

What else am I missing that could be causing the issue? Wheel bearings are probably fine because it's not vibrating when I'm driving regularly.

Has anyone else had this issue? Or is it a totally normal thing with Zs? I've never driven another to the extent or as hard as I drive mine so I'm not sure what is normal and what isn't.

Another issue I have is the damn AC controls will just stop working and then I have to turn my car on and off a bunch or go mess with the fuses in order to get it to come back on. AC will still blow. The controls just won't work.

Have a CMAK and Os Giken STR installed March 2023 and only have a couple thousand miles on it.

Just recently, S-mode light started going out. Before that, something is "lagging" where I'll have the pedal down hear the engine revving but then the tach will jump from 3000-5000 then the gear indicator and s-mode light will go out. There isn't an S-mode warning until I hit the s-mode button.

After that, seems to rev normally but still feels and sounds a bit... off. Almost sounds like the engine is higher pitch if that makes sense. Or maybe louder. I'm not getting the 'lag' after that, but it does appear that there is little to no acceleration before 3000 rpm that I don't think I've noticed before.

If I turn the car off it will come back with no warnings. Brake fluid seems normal. Sounds like a bad sensor or something else?

Drove a day with S-mode off and seemed better but still louder. Now it did the lagging from 3500 to 4500 again and the gear shift with S-mode off and the gear shift indicator went out. Think my clutch is slipping? Gonna take it to a mechanic tomorrow.

Think it's the clutch or something in the trans?

When I run my 370Z at operating temperature, the heater does not blow hot air. Does anyone have this problem and do you know what I could do to fix it?

Oh shit don’t know how this works but here goes! I have a 370z touring/sports 2009 and fixed an issue with my trunk a while back, managed to fix it myself but was only ever going to be a short term fix, anyway now my trunk is shut and won’t release when I use the outside buttons or key fob. I have looked everywhere for the f@cking hatch release “Velcro” thingy ! I have pulled everything out of my car, even down to the glove box, parcel box, all of the parcel mats, the flooring mat, the spare tire! I’m about to punch myself in the face! Anyone know where it is! Lol

Did my first track day this past weekend! Stock other than an exhaust, diff brace, and brake pads lmao. Def gonna add a few things in the winter though.

I’m on my phone and for some reason my search engine for related ads don’t work. I’m looking for just a carbon fiber side skirt that enhances the red trim. Not removes it completely. Does that exist? Nismo v2 btw.
