Just thought I would ask this question. Almost all cars I have owned or driven for that matter, like the cold. The Z on the other had, she doesn’t seem to like it as much. At OT it seems… sluggish? I’m not sure who to put it but I can definitely feel the difference. Almost feels like it weighs a couple hundred pounds more, like I have a passenger when I’m alone.
As soon as the outside temp is higher than let’s say 50f, she runs like normal. Haven’t really noticed this before just thought I would ask.

Recently did a drain and fill on my z. Car started overheating bad with some white smoke coming out the exhaust. Could it be a head gasket issue? Or did the tranny fluid go somewhere else? As stupid as that may sound. Any insight would be helpful.
I feel like the car wasn’t always like this, I have a P1283 code and I recently replaced MAF sensor, PCV Valve/hoses & Crank Position sensor (because I was having stalling issues and another code) with all OEM or Equivalent

I’m not entirely sure what this noise is I’m really hoping it’s not lifter tick or anything. I don’t think it is because if I rev it while sitting still the noise doesn’t happen and also when it’s wet outside and everything is wet it does not make the noise. It is worse when it is started cold this is the worst it’s been so far. It only sounds real loud at lower rpm in lower gears. Please if anyone could have an idea then let me know.
Does a 19x11 +25 wheel with 285/30 tires fit into the rear wheel well, or should I go with +20 instead? The wheels are JR43!
Looking to find a long and girthy rack boot that will be able to fit over offset rack spacers. I have heard of people using rack boots from other cars for this like suv or truck boots but there is very little information on the topic. Does anyone have a good solution for this? Thanks.
Took my car in for a inspection when i got new tires on it earlier this month, and found out one of my struts is not doing the greatest so it has led me to wonder what coilovers would be a good buy? Budget will probably be up to 2k CAD, so not trying to get the most expensive ones but still looking for something pretty good. Any ideas or suggestions on what I should look at, and where to get them?
Hi everyone, I just bought a 2005 350z roadster. The top isn't latched back all the way staying about 1/2 inch up. The top also does not move. Does anyone have a video guide or a picture guide on how to rebuild the 5th bow motor? Thanks!
Hey, the Z I purchased a couple months ago and the gearbox has been a struggle for me. I haven’t driven the car much at all, as I’ve been doing repairs and trying to get it to pass emissions but the first thing I noticed was an odd feeling clutch, clutch chatter, difficulty shifting smoothly, and rpms reacting aggressively like dropping very fast when the clutch is disengaged between shifts. I swapped out the slave and master cylinder and upgraded the low trans fluid to redline mt-85. I’m thinking now that the previous owner might have had a lightweight flywheel installed. Would there be an easy way to check?
Car randomly throws “Slip” and lost of power but now suddenly “Slip,ABS, and TCS” all turned on and lost of power.. I swapped out the abs sensor a while back and recently I changed out all the steering& suspension parts in the front (left&right) as it was needed to be done but I just want to know what could fix this “SLIP” issue and to why the rest of the lights turned on

I have a chance to get a ProCharger kit for a steal but it's for a DE and I have the Revup engine. Can the bracket be modified? Searching hasn't helped me much.

I was wondering what my next move should be for mods. I semi daily this car, mountain race it a lot too. I'm young so not super rich, modding is my only hobby, unless a girlfriend counts.

I have my 06 vq35de non revup 350z that I’d like to swap to manual. I’m trying to achieve the cleanest swap possible and I’m leaning towards buying the 6MT wiring harness to avoid having to do all of the wiring custom work, however since the 06 manuals only came with the revup version that’s the only wiring harness I can find.
Can I use a revup wiring harness on a regular DE engine?
First post on here. 10 years in a Z, just 14 months ago I sold my bagged Z and started building this drift Z from absolute bone stock.
I just bought my first manual car today, a 2006 Fairlady Z (350Z), a Japanese import. Any advice on how to drive these cars? I got some good driving time in today, and only stalled 3 times over the span of about 15 minutes of only practicing starting from zero. Also any advice about starting on steep hills?
