First of all, best show I’ve seen in a long time!! Mozzie, Neal and Peter really made an impact on me. Their performances were so believable and on point, that I’m lost for words. Ok now coming to the point - WHY did Neal fake his own death? Especially since he was going to be off the anklet? Why did he not keep Mozzie in the loop? Did Neal decide to continue being a con man but in Europe? And finally, what should I watch next that is equally good?
Suit Mrs. Suit Lady Suit Knock Off Suit
Am I missing any?
Also, I've watched multiple times, and I know it's coming, but Rebecca 2.0 is always a surprise.
I love Mozzie's back story, and of course baby Teddy. Mozzie and Neal's friendship.
Also watching this time, how much I really loved Sara and her and Neal's relationship.
Before Willie 'Mozzie' passing I wanted a continuation but since his passing I don't know but every time I watched the finale and see Peter's face expression on finding out Neal is alive it makes me want more episodes.
I will miss Neal and Mozzie coming up with a plan and now Neal has to do it on his own.
If they bring it back I hope everyone comes back including Jones and Diana.
Okay I just finished it & the way the last episode had me fucking BALLING at 28 mins more & more with each development. THEN through from fucking like 43 mins to the end!!!?!!??!? I have not felt this emotional over a show… like ever. I love this show so much and hate it for the fact it made me cry like that. 😂 if you know you know… but please tell me I’m not alone in my emotions of the final episode.
Dunno what that means, but here we go.
The devil’s ham thing came up so many times that I simply had to investigate. Not bad on a soft roll. I just tried it on rye toast with pickles jalapeños and i have to say I might be back for more.
Hello everyone! I just finished season 2 of white collar and I'm not sure if I missed something but I don't know how Vincent Adler found the U-boat? Could someone please tell me how he found it?? Is it because he's the son of the U-boat crew member who survived? Did he get the location through that? But then why go through the trouble of finding the music box?
Through my many run throughs of the show, I’ve had confusing moments like this one.
So, the painting is mentioned to be over 2 million dollars by both Peter and Neal (2.6 million more specifically @ 11:26).
Yet, when they go to set up the buy with Dorsett, he’s only selling it for $100,000? If it was as a a loan, it may make sense, but Dorsett himself is a loan shark.
I know I’m knit-picking, but this was a huge discrepancy between selling price and actual mentioned worth of the piece.
I was very happy about the final episode and the manner in which all the stories were tied up. I cannot recall a better final episode in any series.
Hey y’all!
My dad and I are fans of the show, and he even watched it when it first aired. We’ve watched the show at least a dozen times on Netflix and then later DVD.
We both distinctly remember that in the pilot, when Neil is brought to the hotel, he goes to his room, and a dog runs in.
In a much later episode in another season, Peter ends up spending a night (or attempts to) at that very hotel and encounters the dog. A later scene that episode has Neil referencing the Hotel Dog.
Neither the Netflix nor DVD versions we’ve watched as the aforementioned scene for the pilot, but we’re pretty sure we saw it. I even went to the Team DeKay website and looked up the Vimeo upload of the extended pilot and bought the episode on Apple TV, but to no avail.
Are we just misremembering? Did we slip into an adjacent timeline? Is it actually lost media?
Forgive my poor sentence structure.
I think that Burke told everyone that Neal is alive but I'm not sure if he knows where he is. I also think that Mozzie already knows so that Neal could get his share of the money.
I randomly started a rewatch of the series. I usually have good recollection of episodes especially when I restart them. But I've just come across 4x05 Honor Among Thieves which for some reason I don't recall at all.
It's almost likely watching a new episode in which I don't know the ending. Anyone else have an experience like this?
Love this show, have probably rewatched it 7+ times by this point. One thing that always sticks out to me is how drop-dead gorgeous EVERY female character is. It really feels like every female that is introduced is a supermodel. Obviously, Neal is a very attractive guy, but it seems so disproportionately skewed.
It's been a hot second since I read this and I don't think it was on ao3 but I'm afraid I don't remember where it was. Neal was Hughes's long lost son and they found out when the whole office got tested to see if they would be a good bone marrow match for Hughes's daughter who had cancer. Neal wound up to be her twin and I think his original name was Danny?
This is very much a long shot but I would like to read it again if anyone happens to know where it is :)
He should have been in London with Sara not alone in Paris.
Willie Garson was such a wonderful actor and truly made white collar what it is. I know alot of people want more episodes but not only would it suck without Mozzie, but it feels like it would be wrong after Willie passing so early in life. Loved him in everything he did.
If Neal technically found the diamond and didn't steal it illegally why did Peter still take it from them?
Working the Cape Cod Innkeeper circuit in the early days.
Any actual recommendations? It's been a while since I watched Burn Notice again.
When I first watched the pilot episode, I liked it. It had a nice ending and I thought in the next episode Neal will go looking for Kate and Peter will chase him.
Obviously second episode wasn't that and I was disappointed and I did not continue watching. Couple of years later I re-watched the pilot and came to terms with that this was going to be a case of the week procedural show and it became one of my favourite show.
What was your experience watching WC the first time.
So as the title suggests, I’m trying to get my best friend hooked on White Collar after just finding the show myself a few weeks ago. I’m trying to find the best “bottle” episode to rope her in, and the only one I can come up with so far on my first rewatch is season one, episode 10, Vital Signs. Any other suggestions for an all-encompassing episode are very welcome, and I’m thrilled to have found this fun, heart wrenching show!
very aware that i'm late to the party here, but if i was wondering if anyone happen to have a copy of malfunction by jet44? i haven't been able to get a response from the author. i read a few chapters of it, and was hoping to finish it :) thank you!
White Collar does not have a bad intro. I know lots seem to hate the Season 3 intro but honestly I love it. I love all three of the different intros. I think they all fit the theme of the show and all three are fun.
What's your opinion on the intros? Do you hate the initial Season 3 intro? What are your opinions on the initial Seaon 1 intro?
I dont mean a inpactful, or episode changing line. Just a random that makes you laugh everytime. Mine is "Degas away with it".
I'm just being nitpicky here because it's literally spelled for you at every turn that it's NEAL, yet people still spell it as Neil. Why? It's not that hard (and yes, it's a tv show so it's not that serious).
But, It's like having my name in my email address AND email signature AND previous signoffs in the same email thread yet clients & vendors still address me wrongly that it's just annoying and disrespectful at this point.
