i recently just got my motorcycle license after going to motorcycle school down in Camarillo and went out this weekend for a ride up into the mountains.

i met up with a friend in the morning and thought we were going to have to take the bikes up to the mountians and take the bikes from there, but it turned out they were plated and we just rode straight from the house.

Between Hendrys and Hope Ranch

I live just outside old town Goleta and when there's concerts and stuff at the Thunderdome I can often hear it, usually nothing identifiable, just the murmur of distant amplified music.

I've been hearing something for a few hours now, but it sounds a lot closer and clearer. It definitely sounds like live music, I can make out distinct drum beats and whatnot and occasionally amplified voices.

It seems much closer than the Thunderdome, but this neighborhood is usually incredibly quiet so it being much closer also seems unlikely. Anyone know what's going on?

Anyone know of any shops where there tires of T-shirts might be available? Record shops, music shops, vintage stores?

I can only think of Craigslist, any other ideas?

I’m new to Santa Barbra and don’t really know anything about the area does anyone have any ideas for passion projects that relate to law? I saw that there was a housing crisis1-2 years ago and was thinking of doing something like a know your rights website but not sure if that’s still going on? What problems is Santa Barbra currently facing that need some kind of policy change or any ideas anyone has helps

I go to school out here and UCSB and something I miss about not living here would be driving out to malls and walking around the shops, grabbing drinks, being with people and just having a good time. I get that we have Paseo Nuevo and the shops on State St but they’re just all dead and kinda sad now. Do you guys know of any malls or anything I could go to with my friends or girlfriend sort of near by? Or like an hour or two away? I don’t mind driving! I appreciate any and all feedback!!

Hi! I moved to SB a few months ago. I have pretty bad TMJ (/ bruxism / jaw clenching) that leads to headaches and muscle aches. For the last two years, I've gotten intramuscular botox, which is incredible and makes more or less all of my symptoms disappear. But now I am an ocean away from my go-to botox spot and I have no idea where to go in Santa Barbara! I was getting a great deal at $200 for the full treatment. Has anyone had this procedure done in Santa Barbara? And where have you gone to get it (dentist, med spa, etc.)?

This will be my first ski season living in SB and am wondering what pass locals recommend for resorts within a 3 hour drive. Thinking of getting a season pass to Big Bear but was wondering if there is a smaller pass (compared to ikon) that would include other resorts in that area? Thinking like Mt Baldy/ Mountain High for some diversity. If not I’ll probably just get big bear but would love to hear the thoughts of locals
