Wicked Shamrock's February Art Nite: A New Format Emerges

I figured now would be the perfect time to post a recent conversation I had with multifaceted Lompoc Artist Angelina LaPointe. 

She and her band Angie and the Nightmares will be performing at the Wicked Shamrock this evening, and this weekend is your last chance to swing by the Lompoc Cypress Gallery to check out her fine art blockprint exhibit, California Wild.

We've been here a little over 6 years and don't really do much locally, aside from having a/some beer/s at Cold Coast Brewing on Friday evenings if we're  feeling food trucky.  It'd be cool if anybody knows of a local event!

Does anybody know where its located? In another location the appointment takes so long so I made it in Lompoc instead but where should I practice for it?

Lompoc Driving Test

Went for lunch today to Flare- new ramen place on W Ocean. It's worth checking out, although I don't have much hot pot/ramen experience to compare it to. (I had the pork hot pot, husband had the pork ramen. We shared some gyoza- which came out fast but seemed a little underwhelming, he also got a taro milk tea boba which he enjoyed) Young folks (teens) working as servers and pop music played, which makes for a casual environment for sure. I was happy to sit by the orchids! Main dishes were around $17 and various sides/appetizers $7.
