Hulu on Roku doesn’t let you fast forward commercials. It’s only an issue when watching Hulu on Roku. Insanely annoying.

When I Google Xbox cloud gaming on Roku ultra 4k the results seem to indicate there is an Xbox cloud app you can download on your Roku. When I look for it I can't find it. Am I missing something or is that just not a thing?

So my Roku tlc tv started blinking and dimmed down and I’ve tried leaving it unplugged for a day resetting it adjusting brightness I really don’t know what to do please help me

I have a Roku Ultra connected to my Denon receiver via a quality HDMI cable. The receiver is connected to an LG Plasma TV (PV400 model circa 2008) via a quality HDMI cable. Great TV and never had a problem with my old Roku 3.

When I first turn the TV on and attempt to navigate between apps on the Roku Ultra’s main menu, the screen goes to black for several seconds, creating a frustrating delay before I can see the picture again, making the effectively unusable. In order to get the Roku ultra to work properly, I have to restart the unit and then it works just fine for my viewing session.

Having to restart the unit every time I turn the TV on is also annoying and possibly not good for the unit? Is there a permanent way to fix this problem?

Has anyone else been unable to access channels when subscribing through Roku? The system encourages you to use your Roku to sign up, but once I do I'm unable to log in to some channels on the app. I've had a couple of confusing issues in the past but this one I can't get past--the Night Flight channel just refuses login attempts, and there's no option to reinstall the channel. I suspect it's because I subscribed through the Night Flight website years ago and that subscription is long dormant. Really not sure what to do here--tech support at Night Flight just tells me to update the app, but no dice.

ABC retired their app and directed me to Hulu. Hulu has their shows on replay but does not have their sports content - today are the NWSL playoffs on ABC. ESPN and Hulu say I can stream it if I get ESPN+.

Is there any workaround? We have an xfinity log-in so have ABC access. I'm frustrated I can't watch live.

For the past couple days my Roku smart tv just displays the logo “ONN Roku” but it doesn’t go past that screen. I tried changing the remote batteries, factory resetting the tv, unplugging it and nothing works. Does anyone have any suggestions? The tv is less than a year old and I no longer have the box to bring it back to the store. I’m disabled and on a fixed income so I can’t afford a new one.

My girlfriend and I just got the TCL Roku 65s451 and I was finally able to get her Alexa to pair. It will launch apps and turn TV off/on… but when trying to control volume it states “Roku does not support this” which is BS. I have unregistered and re-registered already, restarted all devices and wifi. Nothing helps. Any tips??

Hey guys I would like to get these speakers for my dad who is not technologically inclined lol. Does anyone know once you have done the first time setup with the Roku wireless speakers, will they connect automatically every time you turn on the tv? So once I set it up for him can he just turn the tv on and they will automatically connect and then he can just adjust the volume from his tv remote.

Hey! I have a Roku 3941X (Roku Express 4K+) and I lost the remote. Could any kind soul take a photo of the remote control and post it here?

When I try and play a video in any roku channel I can navigate the app and even the pause border and settings come up but the video is always black. I can hear the audio but it doesn't actually play. If I use an hdmi to my computer I don't have the issue I've had this thing for months and changed nothing wtf happened?

My husband is always trying to figure out all the rmovie references. Anyone know the answers?

Currently I'm running a roku stick to my soundbar IN port, then an hdmi cable in the OUT port connected to my older Vizio TV. I just got a newer Samsung soundbar/sub combo, but the IN port does not have enough clearance for the roku stick. All the hdmi splitters I see are for 2 IN 1 OUT or all IN, but I need a female IN and female OUT, then the main 1 (male) being able to pass IN and OUT.

Does ANYONE have a recommendation? I just want to use my new bar and sub, but the TV only has the Netflix app and no app store, so I gotta use the roku. Sorry of this doesn't belong here, I just need to help. Thanks in advance

I have an old monitor that I was hoping to use like a TV (broke college student). It has a DisplayPort and VGA port. Is there any way to connect a Roku to it? I have a VGA to HDMI adapter that works for my Nintendo Switch, but when I plug in the Roku nothing appears on the screen...

When I try to screen mirror my phone to the TV, the screen appears black, but the audio plays correctly. Does anyone have suggestions on how to resolve this issue?

this has become almost a daily issue where neighbours try and connect to my tv at random times, not always the same phone doing so. never while i'm playing anything loud so it can't be malicious. i live in an apartment so i share walls/ceiling with random people. we are not on the same wi-fi so i'm not sure why this would happen. usually i'll ignore it and they'll stop trying to connect after 30 seconds or so, but today i was playing a music playlist on youtube and got the "open youtube app to connect mobile device" notice and it just stayed there for minutes on end before i had to manually exit out (was in the middle of doing something). i often listen to playlists on youtube while busy or trying to sleep so this sort of thing pausing playback is really annoying. is there any way to prevent this or stop my tv from appearing as an option to connect to? i'll attach a picture in the comments.

I just got a Roku TV (onn brand) like the days ago, and every time I used Netflix on it, it moves slow. Like I press pause and it takes like 5-10 seconds to pause. any clue what I can do to fix it?

cat stepped on remote with a moon button on it, i can now hear things but i can't see anything. turning screen on from off will quickly flash the splash but nothing more. trying to navigate settings with screen reader but no luck; reset about 10 times now. ive tried turning the picture on and off through settings but its not working either. any help?

Our house recently went through an electrical problem and is still going through some electrical problems and we had to turn off all electricity to fix it. But yesterday my tv only was affected and I was out onto the gray screen that says Onn.Roku TV. I was eventually able to get to the recovery mode after trial and error. If I try an update it. It refuses to and instantly stops and goes back to before I put in my wifi. Restart just puts it back into recovery mode. And Factory reset. Doesn't actually factory reset it. I've been trying everything under the sun to fix it. But nothing is working. I have a 50 inch and I don't know what to do now. And the red light is constantly flickering

The remote is able to turn on tv and works fine. When I go to adjust the volume it will show that it is changing on the screen however the volume of the tv does not change even when it says the volume is zero. Worked perfectly fine yesterday and this issue just started today. I’ve put all audio setting on auto and did a system restart and still have the same issue. Anyone else have this problem or know fix. Thank you

I am wondering if anyone has tried using a Roku Streambar and the Roku remote as the primary remote for a TCL Q65 Google TV - model 55Q651G? I really like the ease and snappy operations of the Roku - and the remote is awesome because it has a 3.5mm headphone jack. I am able to get the TV to turn on - but I can't get the Roku remote to turn the TV off. Anyone else having this problem? I had similar problems with a 58" TCL Fire TV - to the point I returned the TV and got a Google TV because I use Roku Pros on 2 other TVs in the house and don't have any problems with using the remote. Is it something where TCL has made it impossible to ditch their remote? I am loathe to call TCL customer service and spend hours on the phone.

I have my Roku streambar hooked up and working. I plugged in Roku wireless speakers. Held down home button and the only devices available to set up are: Remote, smartphone or tablet, subwoofer, and wireless headphones. No wireless speaker option is listed. Please note:

-Software is up to date

-Everything is plugged in

-I have done factory rest on streambar and speakers

-I am located in the USA

-Streambar is connected to a projector. No TV is involved.

-The speakers were set up within a distance less than 5-feet from the streambar.

-The speakers pair button is blinking and the nice lady voice provides instructions every few minutes.

Lastly, and pay CLOSE ATTENTION, the problem is not that the speakers won’t pair, the problem is that “wireless speakers” don’t even show up as a device pairing option.

Please help

I'm trying to find a used Roku that has an optical output - is there a list of Rokus that have that feature somewhere?

do all 4640 models have it?
