I’m reading mixed reviews, I’m looking at either Express or Express 4k. It’s an older TV in daughter’s room. I want to keep the device behind the TV (like a fire stick). Tv will be wall mounted. Will either of these work?

I bought a roku streaming stick 4k 2 or 3 years ago. It is model 3820x. The newest stick model is 3820r2. I googled it and get contradicting answers. What is really the difference?

I’m sick to death of every app having its own screensaver. Roku needs to put a stop to this nonsense. I find them all so annoying and I really want it to just do NOTHING or be as minimal as possible but even using my tv for Bluetooth has this damn text that bounces around the screen. What were they thinking???

If I’m missing something please help. Every post on the topic seems to confirm that every app just does its own thing and there's nothing to be done.

My Roku is having problems with YouTube, it opens any other app no problem but YouTube! For someone reason YouTube just wouldn't open, even saying that there's connection problems even though I knew wasn't the case. I tried desintalling, and later installing again, but then I came across the fact that I couldn't install back. I tried installing other apps, but they won't install either. I won't install new apps anymore. I know is not a connection problem, because then I just opened Netflix with no problem at all. Now I can't install new apps, and can't get YouTube back...

I don’t know what to do but when I try to watch movies on hbo max with my Roku tv all movies are zoomed in cropping half of the screen. I’ve tried turning my tv on and off, I’ve adjusted the display on my Roku tv, I’ve deleted and reinstalled the hbo app and nothing is working! What can I do to fix this?

I bought a Sharp Roku TV off Facebook marketplace and they couldn’t find the remote. Now I’m attempting to set it up with an old Roku remote I had, but the physical left/right buttons on the TV don’t work. I can navigate to settings on the TV with the select button and the up/down buttons on the TV itself, but I can’t press the right button to get into the settings categories (like network settings). Is there any way to pair the TV with a remote like this, or am I stuck with HDMI?

I turned it on today and immediately noticed that my wallpaper has changed once again. Last time it was festive for the holidays and now it’s for an ad.

Ive got a Roku Express, it connects to a samsung sound bar, and from that, it plugs into the tv (all using hdmi).

Is there a way using the roku remote to make it work with the sound bar so I dont have to use the samsung remote to adjust the sound?

I got this tv yesterday from a neighbor. But it worked the first day I had it and then today it started not allowing me to connect to WiFi. I’ve tried everything; system restart(it connects but for 5 mins), factory reset( didn’t work), re arranging settings but it always either doesn’t work or comes on for 5 mins then turns off. Also I get no results for wifi near me and don’t have a router. But my WiFi is apartment WiFi and I have this little box thing in my living room that I’m assuming is the router. What do I do?

My roku will go to like 30 and seemingly wont go higher. it says it is, but the volume does not get louder, anyone else?

This is probably obvious to most but wanted to share my findings.

I moved into a new place and the router placement isn’t ideal. I didn’t bring my big screen with me but I did inherit a TCL Roku tv and initially hooked that up. The interface was soooo much slower than I was used to and the connection strength was poor. It chugged along and occasionally errored out loading apps. I decided to plug in my Ultra to the tv. 5 bars of WiFi and back to the user input response speed I expected. Night and day.

That’s it. Probably expected but I was surprised how much of a difference in performance there was.

They are showing this set on the site now with the wireless soundbar, 2 sets of wireless speakers, and the sub.

I currently have a roku TV with just the wireless speakers, and have always wanted to make it a 5.1 system using this setup (wireless soundbar as center channel) with the speakers as the front and rear surrounds, but it has always been where the wireless soundbar is going to be your left, center, and right channel which is what I don't want. The soundbar below has no hdmi port so are they just making bundles that won't work or did they give us more options.

I have a Roku tv that for whatever reason will not show up in my iPhone’s airplay list! Every “solution” that is on the internet and on reddit I have attempted, and still nothing will work.

Please if anyone is having similar problems and has found a solution, let me know🙏🏻

I have 2 roku’s that I have available. A 2020 Roku ultra(4800x) and a Roku streaming stick 4k(3820x). Which one would be better to use on my main viewing TV as far as performance and the longest software support? Both will be connected by Wi-Fi so I don’t need a direct connection.

I have a Roku streaming stick. It works fine with my lg tv except it won’t control volume or on off. Will any of the other Roku remotes control the volume on lg TVs?

I just want to hide/remove it because I never click on it.

Came home from work and suddenly can’t open any of my apps. When I click on them, nothing happens. I can open settings and navigate through the menu/app options, but can’t click the “OK” button to open anything. Anyone know a fix?

I have a brand new Roku Ultra. Gigabit Sonic fiber to the house. Roku is on a hard line to the router. AppleTV shows constantly buffer/freeze, usually at 90% into the program (but not always that far in). NO other services on the Roku buffer; Netflix, Amazon Video, Max, Disney, Paramount+, YouTube TV, PBS, NOTHING. Only Apple. Anyone have an idea?? Or is it just crappy Apple? 🤪

I am trying to set up roku ultras on two tv's. I got one tv to work but I'm having issues with getting CEC enabled on one. So roku remote can't turn off or change volume on tv.

I want to find a tv that has CEC capability around the 18-24" size. Im struggling to find one if anyone can help. Thanks.

I'm hoping I don't need a second account for this, but whenever I remove an app from one device it removes them from all devices. Is there a setting to fix this or is it just the usual roku incompetence?

Ok so a relative of mines spilled water on the roku tv and I'm not seeing Disney+ or Hulu on it anymore what should I do? It still works perfectly but I'm only seeing Netflix and Apple TV.

I'm assuming there was an update today for YouTube.

it automatically removed itself from the TV and when I try to install it again it gives me an error.

I was able to randomly get it to install but when I try to open it, it's like the tile isn't active.

upon rebooting the TV YouTube will disappear again.

Is anyone else experiencing this?
